• This card can be searched by "Trap Trick", "Trap Tracks", "Lilith, Lady of Lament", "Lady Labrynth of the Silver Castle", "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Angel of Blue Tears", "Farewelcome Labrynth", "Labrynth Set-Up", and other generic searchers.

• This card is best used in a Reptile-Type "Worm" deck.

• Notably "Worm Gulse" can gain a lot of ATK from this card's first effect.

• Normal Summon "Worm Xex", activate its effect, sending "Worm Yagan" to the Graveyard and Special Summoning it in face-down Defense Position. Set this card and end your turn. When it's your opponent's turn, and they Normal Summon a monster, activate this card, flipping your Set "Worm Yagan", triggering its effect and returning the monster to your opponent's hand. Then, you get to Draw 2 Cards during the End Phase, and Special Summon "Worm King" from your Deck. During your next turn, you can Tribute "Worm Xex" and "Worm Yagan" to destroy 2 cards your opponent controls and attack your opponent directly with "Worm King".
  • Alternatively, you can tribute "Worm Yagan" and then "Worm King" to destroy two of your opponent's cards. Then "Worm Yagan" can activate his effect again ("Worm Yagan" does not get Banished because it got flipped face down) and attack with "Worm Xex", while having a set "Worm Yagan"

• This card can be used in an "Alien" deck since "Aliens" lack the draw power that other decks possess.
  • The first effect can be used when a player has "Alien Grey" on the field in order to distribute A-Counters and then be flipped back face-down at the end phase to use his effect again.
  • The second effect can easily let you summon "Cosmic Horror Gangi'el".

• Advantage-wise, just having one "Worm Cartaros" or "Worm Apocalypse" face-down on the field when you activate this card yields a +2. Having 2 of them yields a +4.

• Use this card with Book of Eclipse to bypass the effect of Book of Eclipse that allows the opponent to draw card and/or force the activation of one of your Flip Effect Monsters.
