Format

Formats are different modes official physical card tournaments are played, and its associated Forbidden & Limited Lists. In the physical card game, there are three formats: the OCG for Asian regions, the Advanced Format for TCG regions, and the uncommonly seen Traditional Format which does not forbid any cards. Other formats include Speed Duel and Sealed Format.

The term "format" could also mean a particular Forbidden & Limited List update.
