Haven't seen a deck like this on here, so I guess I'll be the first (and no Side/Extra Deck or Normal Monsters present to deal with, so NO "fixing" the editing of the deck, FredCat). Now, then, I've seen variants of this kind of deck floating around a while, and I've become fascinated with it, so I decided to make one for myself.

The main strategy behind this is the traps and the floaters; Rabbit and Rhynos are able to save themselves from many popular cards (like Mirror Force, BTH, etc.), and while Rhynos can't dodge monster effects or Spell cards like Rabbit can, with a good deal of my Traps being chainable, I can use them to help bounce Rhynos back to my hand to save itself from an errant monster/spell effect. Also, since this causes lots of chains to occur, Accumulated Fortune is essential to maintaining hand advantage (as described by "pro" duelists). The Man Beast of Ares in this deck is also to take advantage of the many chains this deck comes up with; with the proper protection (like from Seal of Orichalcos), it can build up ATK like no one's business for a final strike.

Please tell me what you think of it in a courteous and respectful manner. I would like to avoid an incident like what happened in my last deck posted, if at all possible. Vorpal Storm Pony (talkcontribs) 22:50, March 3, 2013 (UTC)

How about the Forbidden (series) cards? They're chainable, and can protect your monsters. --Missign0 (talkcontribs) 02:21, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
Except for maybe Forbidden Chalice (which can negate flip effects during an attack, something most other monster effect-negating cards can't do), I don't really need the Forbidden cards, since my main monsters (the floaters) can protect themselves from spells and traps whenever they need to. Besides, I need as many Trap cards as I can cram in here without being inconsistent, so Winged Rhynos can work its magic. Vorpal Storm Pony (talkcontribs) 16:32, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
I have this same theme made on DN, and it works well with Evilswarm Thunderbird, and I don't think Man Beast of Ares is really worth the space. I also use 2 Tragoedia, just because it gets really huge with the amount of cards you can draw with Reckless Greed. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:58, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
I've heard of the standard build with Thunderbird, but the problem with Thunderbird is that it can only activate once per turn (unlike Rhynos, which can chain its effect to multiple trap cards in the same chain, thus giving me more room to maneuver in for using Accumulated Fortune), and it's unsearchable in any build of this deck (unlike Rhynos, which can be snagged with Tenki), so I don't really care to use it in this deck. As for Tragoedia... to be perfectly honest, hand traps never worked well for me, in the past, and while it can get as big as Ares can, I'm not too comfortable using it when its kind is so inconsistent with me. As I said, I'll be willing to scrap Ares if it doesn't work in this deck, but I'd like to try it out, first, to make sure. Vorpal Storm Pony (talkcontribs) 16:32, March 4, 2013 (UTC)

Okay, updated my deck a little. I'm not sure if I should replace my MSTs with CompEvac or Dust Tornado; I've read that CompEvac isn't that great in this deck (especially with CompEsc replacing it), and while back row hate isn't recommended in this deck, Dust Tornado does give you the added advantage of setting a Spell or Trap for next time, so I dunno. Updated it again, this time adding a few Xyz monsters to the mix, and adding in Pineapple Blast for some laughs. Also going to test out Vivid Knight as a replacement for Ares. Thoughts? Vorpal Storm Pony (talkcontribs) 16:43, March 21, 2013 (UTC)
