i want to reduce the total cards to 40 if possible. deck:45 extra deck:5

suggest what i could do to improve my deck. i think it's fast enough but it could be faster.

You don't really need Proto-Cyber Dragon. If you can, switch it with another Cyber Dragon. Magical Mallet is usually not needed as well unless you really need a card in your Deck for some reason. Heavy Mech Support Platform isn't too useful when you have it on its own either, so you can do without it. This looks like a Machina Gadget Deck...right? If it is supposed to be Cyber-Style, please correct me.
Monsters:
Max out each of the Gadgets. I don't really think that the synchrons are needed at all. Usually Machina decks don't need to rely on synchros. Max out Machina Gearframe, this way you can get Machina Fortress faster. Take out the Heavy Mech Support Platforms, they don't really do all that much... Take out Proto-Cyber Dragon and Ancient Gear Engineer... Try to max out the Cyber Valleys if possible. And add one more Scrap Recycler.
Spells:
Take out all of the Geartowns. Even if Engineer was still there, you only have 2 targets. Add in 3 Solidarity. Combined with the Gadget's floating ability, you can 1900+(Yellow Gadget) atk monsters out every turn! (This by using only 1 solidarity) Take out Swords of Revealing Light and Card Trader. If you summon Gadgets most of the time, your deck will naturally thin out by itself, meaning that you will have a higher chance of drawing the right cards without Trader. Add in 2 Nobleman of Crossout to take out unwanted face downs and add 2 to 3 Smashing Ground to take out face ups. Adding in a copy or 2 of Creature Swap allows you to trade your weaker gadgets with one of your opponents monsters(and when a gadget becomes your opponents, it doesnt get solidarity bonus anymore!).
Traps:
Take out 1 Starlight Road and both Roll Out!s. Good Goblin Housekeeping is not really that great of a card, i suggest you take it out. DNA Surgery is not great for this deck. You have 1 of these combined with 2 Cyber dragons to try to take out your opponents' monsters? What are the chances of you getting a cyber dragon and this card at the same time? 1/40 for this card and 1/20 for cyber dragon -- I suggest you take it out. If you can, use Dimensional Prison to take out your opponent's attacking monsters as it can also dispose of Stardust Dragon.

i was wondering if i should add in a limiter removal. i could also add in a creature swap or two though i dont want the deck to go over 40 too much. should i add another ultimate offering to increase my chances of getting it out. Ozg82889 (talkcontribs) 23:09, September 15, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, Limiter Removal would be great. If you have them, i suggest you make room for these cards: Mirror Force, Torrential Tribute, Solemn Judgment and Monster Reborn. These 4 cards have the power to turn the tide of battle. Mirror Force destroys all your opponents atk position monsters (you can replace Swords with this); Solemn stops and counters any card your opponent plays when you go for game; Torrential works like a Dark Hole, either one is good; Monster Reborn is must, allowing you to bring back even your opponent's dead monsters (e.g. Your opponent tributes Stardust to negate a card, you then reborn it. It works for you now). If you still wanna use synchros, i suggest you use Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind instead of synchrons, even though its not a machine, it's effect is awesome (anyway, you are not running the Chimeratech OTK build, so its not important that you use a full machine build), allowing it to run over any monster with less than 2600 attack. You could replace your Compulsory Evacuation Devices with Bottomless Trap Holes, these work great against Lightsworns and Infernity, also, they can remove from play most synchros. Finally, you don't really need 3 Machina Peacekeeper, 2 is enough. As they can only search for unions, you will only have 4 targets on your 1st peacekeeper, assuming you do not draw any Gearframes. Remember, Gearframe also shares the destruction negation ability that Peacekeeper has. And... put your Stardust back in!
