Honestly, you can't avoid sign your post by later, you MUST sign it on each comment you created! Period! --FredCat 18:04, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry 'bout that. Anyways, here it is. I might side "#30: Acid Golem of Destruction" for its synergy with Critter Switch. Thoughts?

There is no reason whatsoever to use less than 3 Wind-Up Rat. Also... Creature Swap? Why would you use that? Runer5h (talkcontribs) 21:26, November 9, 2011 (UTC)Runer5h

Don't use Kitten, is terrible. Where's Wind-Up Magician? and Warrior? -- Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 21:30, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

...Kitten is fricking amazing. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 21:35, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
But not in a Wind-Up deck. It's level makes it stupid. You need 3s, 4s, and ones that can become 5. -- Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 21:39, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
That still doesn't make sense. It triggers Magician and Factory, can be searched and Special Summoned, and is a nice monster overall. It doesn't really matter that it isn't useful for the specific Xyz Summons. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 21:42, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
Well, the goal of a Wind-Up deck is to spam Xyz Monsters. -- Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 21:44, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
And yet Plant Synchro uses Caius and Rai-Oh. Techs like them are good in lots of decks. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 21:45, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
Wind-Up is definitely not Plant Synchro. It doesn't benefit from random techs. The only techs that help are level 3, 4, or 5 monsters or level manipulation cards. -- Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 21:49, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
It doesn't have to Xyz Summon using every card in the deck. I've used Kitten for a while with great success. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 21:51, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
That's fine. I'm always going to think it's bad for the deck as a whole, but whatever works for you. -- Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 21:53, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

<BIG> is cruise control for LOUD. Never forget closing slashes! Now then.

  1. What should I take out for the 3rd Rat?
  2. "Creature Swap" does amusing things with my monsters, particularly Kitten. I can quickly clear the field of everything extraneous and give the opponent a spent Kitten or Rat.
  3. I'm not using "Wind-Up Magician" because it slows the Deck down rather than speeding it up; it rarely survives on its own. I recruit with Zenmaighty instead. As for Warrior, Soldier is better as a standalone, even if Rat would let me do Rank 4.
  4. This Deck focuses on toolboxing more than swarming.
Designless Square (talkcontribs) 22:12, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

If you can't swarm with Zenmighty, which you should run 3 of (it can loop with Rat), then the deck is built wrong... Anyways, Kitten is a great card, especially in a pinch. Magician furthers your strategies and does NOT slow the deck down. As for Swap, it shouldn't be necessary to be honest. This is my build. It is very consistent. Also, the deck is so fast that only 2 Factories are really needed. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 23:47, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

I'm familiar with Rat's loops. I think you and I are running our Decks differently. You're focusing on swarming and my Deck's centered on hand advantage. Certainly your Deck runs faster, and maybe your Deck runs better, but this particular Deck is extremely consistent and doesn't run out of tools easily. That being said, I need defensive suggestions.
Designless Square (talkcontribs) 03:30, November 10, 2011 (UTC)
Quick question: If your deck is focused on hand advantage, why are you using NO WIND-UP HUNTERS? I use one, and it's wonderful - tribute Wind-Ups that have used their effects and drop a card from your opponent's hand. (Without triggering Dark Worlds.) Runer5h (talkcontribs) 05:11, November 10, 2011 (UTC)Runer5h
It's a funny little card, that's for sure... BF2 Talk Deck Guides 13:54, November 10, 2011 (UTC)

I'm not using Hunter because this Deck isn't particularly fast--there's rarely something useless to Tribute--and because there's not a specific type of problem it can be used to address. I think "Creature Swap" tends to be more generally useful, except against Dark Worlds (against which I have sides).
