Ranran closely resembles [[Rayne Nanahoshi]] from ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS]]''. She is a young lady with indigo hair, wearing what appears to be a female version of the MIK uniform, consisting of a black-colored blazer that has a gold chain running through from the shoulder area to one of its buttons, and boots, with indigo-colored tights and gloves. She also dons black sunglasses and a hat as accessories to the uniform.

===Personality===
Ranran is ditzy and has a penchant for cute things, despising things that she considers ugly or simply not adhering to her standards for cuteness; as an example, she once originally worked with [[Nyandestar]], but upon learning that the "cat" was in truth, an alien, she immediately broke off ties with her. In professional situations, she conducts herself in an authoritative manner, but this ultimately covers a very immature individual. Returning to her penchant, or rather, obsession over cute things, this notably hampered her dueling skills, as she ultimately built her deck based on how cute her monsters were, rather than craft a proper strategy around them. Due to her rather hysterical nature, many of her subordinates found themselves losing on purpose to spare her feelings.

After dueling [[Manabu Sogetsu]] in the [[Alien Residential Area]], Ranran, though maintaining a smug and assured nature, begins to properly train her skills and take her job significantly more seriously. She notably believes that due to the MIK's duties and jurisdictions, it should be helming the efforts to stop alien threats such as [[Zuwijo zir Velgear]] and [[The☆Lugh]], quickly getting her into conflict with other hard-headed individuals, such as [[Asaka Mutsuba]]. 

==Biography==
Some time after [[Yudias Velgear|Yudias]] defeated [[Zuwijo zir Velgear|Zuwijo]], and [[Asaka Mutsuba]] retrieved the stolen [[Earthdamar]], Ranran was seen with her fellow MIK members in the [[Alien Residential Area]], having obtained a piece of the Earthdamar, discussing that [[Manabu Sogetsu|Manabu]] should no longer be left unsupervised, before departing.

Ranran watched from the sidelines as Yudias encountered [[Yuna Goha]], Yudias unaware he had found the person he and the Ohdo twins had been searching for, and when Yudias challenged Yuna to a Rush Duel, Ranran joined the audience to watch the Duel. After Yudias was defeated by Yuna, Yuna took Yudias and the Ohdo twins' [[Duel Power (GO RUSH!!)|Duel Power]], causing them to be pinned to the ground by the high gravity of the Alien Residential Area, something Ranran explained to them and Manabu.<ref name="ep20">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!|20|ref}}</ref> After Yudias and the Ohdo twins were thrown out of the Coruffium, Ranran explained to them that the Rush Battlers had been based on [[MIK Ring]]s after [[Rovian Kirishima]] stole one, and that MIK were investigating, but had been unable to capture Rovian and suggested that UTS stay out of the affair before departing, leaving Manabu to get the UTS employees back to the surface.<ref name="ep21">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! Ranran was alerted to an abnormality while she was at [[MIK Headquarters]], and quickly learned [[The☆Lugh's spaceship|an unidentified object]] had entered the solar system. As she knew Manabu and Nyandestar were at UTS, she quickly contacted him to determine whether anything unusual had happened. Manabu explained Yudias was Rush Dueling Rovian, and further clarified Rovian had claimed someone called [[The☆Lugh|the Great King of Terror]] was approaching [[Earth (planet)|Earth]]; Ranran explained about the ancient object to Manabu in turn.<ref name="ep25">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh!
