Unused content

• Most unused files from Tag Force 2 still remain among the files in Tag Force 3.

• The files used for Chazz Princeton, Alexis Rhodes and Bastion Misawa as members of the Society of Light still exist in the files of Tag Force 3.

• The lines used for the Duelist Directory in Tag Force 2 are reused with no changes in Tag Force 3, but no profiles are displayed in-game. The profiles from the previous game are entirely unused and no new profiles were made.

• Nightshroud, the disguised alternate version of Blair Flannigan, and the alternate versions of Alexis Rhodes, Bastion Misawa and Sartorius, have lines to use when the player interacts with them if met on the overworld, despite them not being set to appear in the overworld under any conditions. Nightshroud alone has no lines to say in case of ending a duel in a draw in any release of the game.

• Most characters in the overworld change their dialogue to another set of lines if the player is partnered with the alternate version of Bastion Misawa. None of these lines exist in the localized release. Because of this, one set of Fujiwara's sprites is left unused in the localizations.

• Each Duelist 2 and Duelist 3 character had unique ending lines in the Japanese version.

• Each Duelist 3 character had unique lines for beginning a day, playing the minigames, going to class, receiving sandwiches as gifts, going to Sunday Tournaments, undertaking tests, giving packs to the player, letting the player edit their Deck, and ending a day. Like in the localizations, they would react to duels as the player's partner with the same lines they used when dueled as opponents in the overworld.
  • Anca, Rie, Maki, Disa, Masha, Jewels, Yumi, Bright and Kami have different reactions depending on whether the player decided to end the day or if they tried to leave an area at the latest possible time, forcing the day to end.
  • Yuma has different reactions whether the player chooses to end the day before the sunset, if they try to end the day after the sunset, or if they try to leave an area at the latest time possible.
  • Wisteria has different reactions whether the player chooses to end the day before the latest time possible, if they try to end it at that time, or if they try to leave an area at that time.
  • Andrea has different reactions for each time of the day, had lines to improve her relation with the player if taken to the Obelisk Blue Girls Dorm or the Abandoned Dorm, and would react to how a duel ends while partnered with the player.

• The lines used by Alexis Rhodes and Professor Thelonious Viper when talked to in the overworld were changed from the Japanese version's lines to lines they used in previous games.

The files for in-duel character lines animations in Tag Force 3 include the following unused package files. These files only have 3 blank text files in them, and there are no lines or image resources associated to them.

The first 3 files appear to have been discarded in favor of other files for their associated characters. The game uses cutin_fujiwara01 instead of cutin_fujiwara_drk01, cutin_mistert01 instead of cutin_mister_t01, and cutin_yuberu01 instead of cutin_yubel01.

The Supreme King

• There are no lines for The Supreme King outside of Jaden's story events. There is also no script for a storyline of his own. The script in the Japanese version repeats ガッチャ (Gaccha, "Gotcha") 12 times between Jaden's second story and Syrus' first story. The localized script switches seamlessly between Jaden's and Syrus' storyline dialogue lines.
• The Supreme King also has no walking sprites, but he can still be chosen as a partner for the minigames. If he is chosen, he will turn invisible whenever he moves due to not having sprites for those movements, but his shadow will remain visible.
