- Gorgon's Eye was a Continuous Trap Card that caused the opponent to lose Life Points equal to half of a Defense Position monster's DEF points on his side of the field when it was destroyed in battle. It also prevented the opponent from setting monsters.
- Its card lore was "Activate only when your opponent Normal Summons or Sets a Defense Position monster. When this card is activated, flip all face-down Defense Position monster on your opponent's side of the field face-up. While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent's Defense Position monsters cannot change their battle position or activate any effect(s). When an opponent's Defense Position monster is destroyed by battle, inflict damage to that monster's controller equal to half of it's original DEF.".
- It appeared in Episode 35 and Chapter 68 where Maximillion Pegasus activated this card against Yami Yugi in Duelist Kingdom. It was not explained how it got destroyed during the Duel.
- Pegasus discards this card in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX during his duel with Vellian Crowler and Jean-Louis Bonaparte.
