- When "Drillroid" was played in the anime it was called "Drilloid".
- Syrus used "Drillroid" during his Tag-Team Duel with Jaden against the Paradox Brothers. He then has this card attack "Gate Guardian", however "Defense Wall"'s effect then redirected the attack to it, resulting in "Defense Wall" being destroyed by this card's effect. This card is later attacked by "Dark Guardian", but Jaden used "Hero Barrier" to negate the attack. Syrus later Tributed this card to summon "UFOroid".
- Syrus used "Vehicroid Connection Zone" to fuse this card with Steamroid and Submarineroid to form "Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill" during his duel against Missy.
