- This card can be searched via "Witch of the Black Forest".
- This card can be recycled back to the Deck with Necroface after self-removing when leaving the field.
- Heart of Clear Water or Mist Body can be equipped to it to avoid its demise when attacking to get Exodia in the graveyard.
- Use Future Fusion on five Normal Dragon-Type(to summon Five-Headed Dragon) monsters or an any number Normal Machine-Type (to summon Chimeratech Overdragon) to increase this monster's ATK dramatically.
- Use Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce to allow this card to gain 2000 ATK a turn and send two monsters instead of one. Note: This card does not need to inflict damage, it just needs to declare an attack.
- You do not have to have a lot of monsters in your Graveyard to summon Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord. If your opening hand includes a monster that can be discarded for its effect, such as D.D. Crow or King of the Swamp, or the Spell Card Foolish Burial, you can use that card's effect and to return the monster to your Deck to summon Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord on your very first turn.
- This card can be used to recycle monster cards whose effects have already been used, such as Nimble Momonga.
- You can use this card in combination with Lightsworns monsters to send as many cards as possible from the top of your deck to the Graveyard. Simply summoning it will also recycle all your Lightsworns to counter the self-milling in that deck (though doing so will reduce the effectiveness of Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon and Judgement Dragon).
- When using this card, keep in mind that a simple Soul Release can ruin your chances of winning due to this card's last effect.
- Try using the Gemini Monsters. They'll give you possible effects when they're on the field when you Gemini Summon them, and they'll work in the graveyard when you send them by Exodius' effect.
- Once you summoned this card, use Painful Choice and select five normal monsters to give it a 4000 ATK point boost.
- You could use Snake Rain instead of Painful Choice and select 4 normal Reptile monsters. If you discard a normal monster (for Snake Rain's effect), it will gain a total of 5000 ATK.
- When used in a Skull Servant deck, this card will power both itself up and King of the Skull Servants at the same time by sending Skull Servants to the Graveyard.
- If your opponent has a full field of Monsters, combine Mist Body with Diffusion Wave-Motion to dump all 5 Exodia pieces into your Graveyard in one turn.
- This also works with Ojama Trio.
- Necrovalley can protect the monsters placed in the grave from your opponent's card effects.
- Multiple copies of this card will help to get your copies of Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord to have more ATK, and will allow you to play Exodia Necross if you send the various parts of Exodia to the graveyard.
- Traditional Format Only: This card can combo well with Last Turn if you build up the number of normal monsters in your hand or on the field then play Last Turn selecting Exodius for it's effect then discarding your hand and a few normal monsters on the field to grave to activate Last Turn if you have three or more normal monsters in your hand or on your field you can make Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord significantly stronger than your opponent's monster.
- This card can be used in a combo with Fiend Comedian to either remove your opponent's cards immediately or if you get it wrong you can give this card a huge attack boost.
- This card's effect special summons itself giving you quick tribute fodder for monsters such as monarchs while recycling the monsters in your graveyard.
- "The Calculator" will get a 3000 ATK bonus if you Special Summon Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord, and then Normal Summon "The Calculator".
