Duelist Kingdom
- During Yami Yugi's first duel with Seto Kaiba, Yugi uses this card to destroy Kaiba's "Saggi the Dark Clown" but then this card gets destroyed by Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
- During Yugi Muto's duel with Weevil Underwood, Yugi uses this card to attack Weevil's "Cocoon of Evolution" but the Defense points of "Cocoon of Evolution" was too high due to the Field Power Bonus so this card's attack fails. After using "Curse of Dragon" equipped with "Burning Land" to destroy the forest area to remove the Field Power Bonus from "Cocoon of Evolution", Yugi sends this card to attack "Cocoon of Evolution" again with the attack succeeding in destroying the cocoon but Weevil's Insect was inside long enough to become "Great Moth" so Yugi uses "Polymerization" to fuse this card and "Curse of Dragon" together to create "Gaia the Dragon Champion".

Two turns later, Yugi activates "Black Luster Ritual" to tribute him and "Kuriboh" to ritual summon "Black Luster Soldier".
- During Yugi Muto's duel with Joey Wheeler, Yugi uses this card to destroy Joey's "Giltia the Dark Knight". Two turns later, Yugi uses "Polymerization" to fuse him and "Curse of Dragon" together to create "Gaia the Dragon Champion".
- During Yugi's final duel with Maximillion Pegasus, this monster is seen behind Yami Yugi prior to the duel's start though neither Yami Yugi nor Yugi Muto use this card during it.

- While dueling the Big Five's virtual world, this card briefly appears when Yami Yugi activates "Black Luster Ritual" to tribute him and "Curse of Dragon" to ritual summon "Black Luster Soldier".

Waking the Dragons
- This card can be seen during episode 159 when Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor are taken to vault within Doma's headquarters that contains copies of every card in existence at the time save the Legendary Dragons and the Egyptian Gods.
- During Yami Yugi's duel with Weevil Underwood (under Dartz's influence), this card is seen one final time when Yugi uses "Polymerization" to fuse him and "Curse of Dragon" together to form "Gaia the Dragon Champion".
Dawn of the Duel
- During the duel between Pharaoh Atem (Yami Yugi) and Yugi Muto, neither one use this card but he appears during flashbacks of Yugi's signature cards while Atem's "Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight" and Yugi's "Summoned Skull" are on the Field.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
- In episode 23, this card, along with "Buster Blader" and "Leghul", was used by an opponent that Belowski faced in a flashback. This was cut from the English version.
