- In episode 108 Abyss obtains this card to use it in his duel against Shark revealing that this is possessing Rio.
- In episode 109, Abyss plays this card against Shark. He summons this card by overlaying Gorgonic Gargoyle and Gorgonic Golem (both were level 5 due to Gorgonic Pile), he detaches one overlay unit to double this monsters ATK points (from 2400 to 4800) making its ATK points higher than Depth Shark. He then attacks Depth Shark with this card but Shark activates Hide and Shark paying half of his life points and banishing Depth Shark to end the battle phase. Later when Shark summons Number 94: Crystal Zero, who's ATK points are 4300 due to Full-Armored Xyz and Black Ray Lancer, Abyss then uses this cards effect, detaching one overlay unit to double this monsters ATK points (from 2400 to 4800) making it stronger than Crystal Zero, however Shark uses "Crystal Zero's" effect detaching two overlay units to halve Abyss Splash's ATK points twice (from 4800 to 2400 to 1200). Crystal Zero then attacks and destroys this card winning Shark the duel.
- In the same episode, this card appears in Shark's vision, Vector summons this monster by sacrificing one of his soldiers, corrupting this monster in the process, it attacks Shark's soldiers. Later due to Rio's sacrifice, she summons Crystal Zero, purifying this monster.
- In episode 115, Shark in his duel with Quattro plays this card in his duel against Kurage. He summons this card by overlaying Panther Shark and Big Jaws (who was level 5 due to the effect of Authority of Atlantis), since Shark summoned a WATER Attribute Xyz Monster, Kurage uses Jelly Hole to negate all effects on his side of the field, including this monster, he then uses the effect of Number 4: Stealth Kragen, to destroy this monster and deal damage equal to its ATK points, however Shark chains it with Cascade Barrier, to protect this card from being destroyed and reducing its ATK points to zero, Kurage then uses the effect Stealth Kragen Ephyra to destroy this card and deal damage to its ATK points, however Shark takes no damage as its ATK points were zero. Quattro then activates Angel Strings to target Number 40: Gimmick Puppet of Strings and revive this card and attaching "Strings" and its overlay unit as this cards overlay units. He then detaches both of its overlay units to double its ATK points twice (from 2400 to 4800 to 9600) this card then attacks "Stealth Kragen" winning Shark and Quattro the duel.
- This card also appears in a flashback when Shark is thinking of a way to quickly end the duel.
- In episode 120, Shark plays this card in his duel against Vector in a Shadow Duel in Shark's memories. He summons this card by overlaying his two Geyser Shark from the graveyard by its own effect, Vector then activates the effect of one of his Gorgonic Guardian to make this cards ATK points zero and to negate its effect, however Shark uses Overlay Wedge to negate "Gorgonic Guardians" effect and preventing both players from detaching overlay units unless that Xyz monster is the highest rank (which "Abyss Splash" is). He then detaches an overlay unit doubling this monsters ATK points (from 2400 to 4800), he then attacks and destroys one of Vector's "Gorgonic Guardians" winning Shark the duel.
- This also appears in Shark's memories when he fights Vector's army, this card is purified by Crystal Zero leading Shark to obtain this card, he then uses this cards physical form to attack Vector's army.
- In episode 124, this card appears in a flashback when Yuma Tsukumo sees Nasch's memories when Nasch's Barian Pendant and the Emperor's Key clash.
- In episode 129, this card appears in a flashback when Don Thousand was explaining that the Legendary Number's sealed away Don Thousand's power.
- In episode 130, this card appears in a flashback when Astral recalls that the Legendary Number's are the opposite of the Over-Hundred Numbers.
- In episode 136, this card appears in a flashback when Vector remembers when Nasch defeated his army.
- In episode 137, Nasch plays this card in his duel against Vector. He summons this monster by overlaying Depth Gardna and Depth Biter, he detaches an overlay unit to double this monsters ATK points (from 2400 to 4800), he then attacks Number C5: Chaos Chimera Dragon, however Vector activates Overlay Burglary, detaching one of "Abyss Splash's" overlay units and attaching it to "Chaos Chimera Dragon" (with "Chaos Chimera Dragon's" ATK points increasing from 4000 to 5000, as it gained an additional overlay unit, making it stronger than "Abyss Splash". Nasch then activates Rank-Up-Magic Quick Chaos, Ranking up "Abyss Splash" into Number C73: Abyss Supra and attaching this monster as an overlay unit.
- In episode 140, Nasch in his duel with Yuma Tsukumoplays this card in his duel against Don Thousand. Nasch Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Panther Shark" and "ZW - Tornado Bringer" via the effect of "Session Draw" as both monsters Nasch and Yuma drew were of the same level (level 5). Nasch activates Yuma's "Hope Bond", special summoning "Number 100: Numeron Dragon" and attaching "Hope Bond" and this card's overlay units to "Number 39: Utopia". Due to "Rising Hope" "Utopia gains "Abyss Splash's" effects. In the next episode during Nasch's turn "Utopia" uses this cards effect via the effect of "Rising Hope", detaching two overlay units to double "Utopia's" attack points twice (from 25500 to 51000 to 102000, as its ATK points were already increased by "Numeron Dragon"), this card remained on the field until the end of the duel.
Yu-Gi-Oh! D Team ZEXAL
- In Chapter 22, Shark plays this card against Syndy Chross. He Xyz Summons this monster by Overlaying "Saber Shark" and "Silent Angler" (who were Level 5 due to the effect of "Saber Shark"), Shark activates this cards effect detaching an Overlay Unit to double this monsters ATK points, he then activates "Neptune's Amulet", this card then attacks "Ally of Justice Catastor" and due to "Neptune's Amulet" this card isn't destroyed by the effect of "Catastor" (which would destroy all non-DARK attribute monsters, this card attacks and destroys "Catastor" but the battle damage is halved (from 2600 to 1300) due to this cards effect. During Syndy's turn she targets this card with "Mist Bird Clausolas" making its ATK points 0 and negating its effect. This card is then attacked and destroyed by "Junk Warrior" (who had 3700 ATK points due to its effect).
