- In episode 20, Number 96's holder plays this card against Yuma Tsukumo. He overlays three "Giant Germs" to Xyz Summon it. It is destroyed by "Number 39: Utopia". Astral absorbs the card afterwards. Later in the same episode, the Number itself plays it against Bronk Stone while possessing Astral. He overlays "Darklon", "Pinecono" and "Acorno" to Xyz Summon it, with the effect of "Darklon" increasing the Level of all three materials by 1 and treating their attributes as DARK. It attacks Bronk's "Aye-Iron", with Number 96 detaching an Overlay Unit to halve the ATK of "Aye-Iron" and add it to this card. Thus, "Aye-Iron" is destroyed. Bronk attacks this card with "Utopia", but Number 96 detaches an Overlay Unit to halve the ATK of "Utopia" and add it to this card. Bronk detaches an Overlay Unit from "Utopia" to negate his own attack, with Number 96 activating his face-down "Counterforce", inflicting damage to Bronk equal to the difference between the ATKs of the two monsters. Number 96 attacks "Utopia" with this card on his next turn, with Bronk attempting to detach and Overlay Unit to negate the attack. Number 96 activates his face-down "Overlay Banish", negating the effect. Thus, "Utopia" is destroyed. Bronk reduces the ATK of this card to 0 with the effect of "Gearspring Spirit" and Special Summons "Utopia" with "Monster Reborn", who destroys this card. Astral again absorbs it.
- In episode 37, "Number 96: Dark Mist" appeared inside the Emperor's Key by Number 96: Dark Mist (character). It then disappeared in episode 38 after "Number 39: Utopia" got away.
- In episode 89, to help Yuma defeat the Giant of Shadows in there duel inside the Emperor's Key, Astral accepting Dark Mist's words, unsealed him and his power and asked Yuma to summon "Number 96: Dark Mist" in order to defeat Unformed Void, the Fictitious King.
