- This monster is the cover card for Clash of Rebellions.
- This is the first Xyz Pendulum Monster to be revealed in both the anime and the OCG/TCG, as well as the first Pendulum Monster to be stored in the Extra Deck.
- This makes it the first Extra Deck monster that can be Pendulum Summoned.
- This is the first "Odd-Eyes" Xyz Monster.
- Ironically, this is the first Extra Deck Monster to use "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" to Summon it that is not "Pendulum Dragon", but is the first actual Pendulum monster of them.
- This monster is a hybrid evolution "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" and "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon", the cards Yuya used to Summon this monster for the first time.
- This card's Pendulum Effect allows the player to search a Pendulum Monster from their Deck, similar to the Pendulum Effect of "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon". Additionally, it is the first card that can place a Pendulum Monster from the Deck directly in the Pendulum Zone.
- This card's attack name follows the same naming pattern like "Odd-Eyes" and "Dark Rebellion's", starting with Japanese words ("Revolt of Imperial Wrath") and ending with English words ("Strike Disobey"). The "Strike Disobey" part is a combination of "Odd-Eyes's" "Spiral Strike Burst" and "Dark Rebellion's" "Revolt of Lightning Disobey".
- In the Anime, this card can mirror the state of Yuya and Yuto having merged together. This is reinforced by the fact that Yuya usually summoned this monster with "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" and "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon". Sometimes, when this monster activates its effect, a silhouette of "Dark Rebellion" appears, reflecting the fact that Yuto is violently reacting from inside Yuya.
- This is the second Xyz Monster to have an effect that requires detaching an Xyz Material as a cost in the anime, but doesn't have the cost requirement when printed in real life, the first being "Number 8: Heraldic King Genom-Heritage". All the other Xyz Monsters either keep their costs, or have their costs increased.
- This card's effect in the anime is somewhat a combined effect of "Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" and "Beast-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", and all monsters are related to "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon".
- Both "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" and "Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" can attack multiple times depending on a monster's Level ("Rune-Eyes" depends on its Fusion Material's Level, while "Rebellion Dragon" depends on the Level 7 or below monsters destroyed by its own effect).
- "Beast-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" and "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" can inflict damage depending on a monster's ATK ("Beast-Eyes" inflicts damage equal to its Fusion Material's ATK, while "Rebellion Dragon" inflicts damage equal to the total ATK of all the monster destroyed by its own effect).
- This card's Japanese name could be a reference to Jaden from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, who was called "The Supreme King" when he turned evil in season three. When Jaden was possessed by The Supreme King his eyes glowed and he acted cold and ruthless just like Yuya in Berserk mode, the state he was in when he first summoned this card.
- This card shares similarities with "Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon".
- They are both Xyz Monsters.
- They have the same Type, Attribute, ATK and DEF.
- They are both evolved forms of "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon".
- They both made their debut in the ARC-V anime when Yuya/Yuto were dueling against a person/group of people from the Fusion Dimension.
