Effect Monsters

If you give us a deck to build, We'll make it a personal project and make sure that you'll be pleased with the final product. Each deckbuilder will only take one deck at a time and will let everyone know when they're done with a project by posting it on the top of the page. Please note that it's your job to collect the cards, our job is to create the perfect decklist for you.

Deck Galleries

Here are all of the decks constructed on this forum on 3 seperate pages. We advise you browse through these before making a request because the deck you have in mind may have already been made.

Rules and General Information

Make all requests in their own section and not directly beneath another's request. Click here to start a new request.
Have a direction for your deck (examples - Dark World, Burn, Spellcaster, Bounce-Back-To-Hand, etc.). Random strings of cards will not be helped.
Do not ask for more than one deck at a time as others will have to wait longer for the deckbuilder to get to them.
This is a free service, but we are taking time out of our lives to help you. Be courteous and don't leave us waiting for you to answer a question.
If we believe a duelist has abandoned their request, we'll place a notice on the request warning of it's removal within 24 hours unless some activity happens.
Completed decks will be moved to the archive after a few days.
Decks that are not signed with 4 tildes (~) will not be helped.
We reserve the ability to delete any and all requests.
We expect that you'll have access to and/or be able to buy cards from online retailers or hobby stores, we base all card prices on eBay.
This page is not a page for people to post their opinions. Please, if you want to give your opinion on someone's deck, post it on the user's talk page.
You may request a deckbuilder to help you, please note that it only ensures that deckbuilder's help. It will not ensure the immediate help of that deck builder.
It is highly recommended that you browse the Deck Galleries or Archives before requesting, you may find what you're looking for before requesting our assistance.
Please post all requests at the bottom of this forum.
Please make an account and log in before posting a requests. Mere IP signatures will no longer be accepted, because it makes it more difficult for us deckbuilders to contact you. Making an account is simple and easy, just go to the top of the page and click on “Create an account”, then follow the simple instructions. Requests signed by with mere IP addresses will be deleted on sight.

ANY REQUEST THAT DOES NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DELETED.

Need help with a deck of mine

I hate coming back here (and I would rather avoid Jon Kovac, to avoid a flame war), but I need some serious help with this Jackal deck. I've been wracking my brain trying to come up with a good set of cards to make the lock work, but it seems like any card I try to use either isn't sufficient enough (ie. Ruthless Denial) or is negated by The End of Anubis (ie. Dark Coffin). Can anyone help me streamline this deck?

Just to clarify things; I'm not a tournament duelist, but I do want to build this deck to be somewhat viable, so unless there is absolutely no other option, I would rather use substitutes to tournament staples like Solemn Judgment. Also, I'm a lot more comfortable playing with a deck of around 50 cards; I've tried decks with around 40 cards, and I feel it really restricting for me, often decking out before I can get the strategy in place. Finally, almost all of my decks stick with a theme more than a strategy, so keep that in mind when making suggestions. Thanks. SynjoDeonecros (talk • contribs) 13:04, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

I've tried putting in a few of the charmers and Doriado, along with Ruin Queen of Oblivion. One of my friends pointed out that the Demise king was better. I believe i'd stand a better chance if i ran one or two charmers and not all of them. It's looking like it's gonna be too expensive for my 50 dollar limit but thanks. I don't think the charmers can survive on their own because they aren't strong enough, ive tried monarchs, but I only have one Caius and 2 Granborg. Finished - Water CONTROL or Warrior instead?!

Hi. I used to play this game a little while ago. (3 years) Im looking to get back into it, and A Legendary Ocean based control deck is probably and option. (Ice Barriers maybe? something else?)

I have 400 dollars to spend to get basically the entire deck. I want something FRESH and VIABLE. CookieCutter is fine with me as long as it's fairly CURRENT. Old Cookie Cutter = Fail.

Also, if you want to lay me down some general focus/strategy for the deck that would be REALLY great too.

(Im also considering some sort of warrior deck too. Suggestions of which one to pick? Water or Warrior? SixSamurai or IceBarrier? SOMETHING ELSE?!?! DROP ME A TIP!!!)

Just use Mermaid Knight and Amphibious Bugroth to clear the field and the opponent's LP, Codarus and Levia help to clear the field and maintain more control. Grizzly searches most of your WATER monsters. Penguin Soldier is used to clear field of monsters. Upstart Goblin is used to draw, Salvage is used to reuse monsters, rest of the spells and traps are to help you live. Forgotten Temple is used to save some monster + it acts like "Umi".

Finished - RFG Psychics Deck

Uh, Hi, can you make me an EFFECTIVE RFG Psychic Deck which were released in Extreme Victory and Generation Force. I made one but it was not effective and i cannot summon the ace card Mental Over Archfiend but instead i summon Hyper Psychic Blaster T_T also put the Psychic Fusion too. This is similar to a deck I made on Dueling Network. My deck was a bit inconsistent but on good hands it was extremely powerful. This deck should be more consistent. It relies on Overdrive Teleporter (for high-level Synchro Summons) as well as Miracle Synchro Fusion and Psychic Feel Zone. I have yet to test it, but here's the rough version.BobaFett2 (talk)

Finished - Judgement of Daedalus Deck

I'd like to put in a request for a Deck I have in mind. I've built it before and it worked wonders, and now I want to see what you Deckbuilders can add to it. Basically the idea was to use Daedalus as the WATER version of Judgement Dragon - destroying all the cards on the field, then attacking. Here are the guidelines for the Deck, hope they're not too difficult"

Guidelines are: - The Main Deck must contain only WATER monsters - 3 "A Legendary Ocean" - 2 or more "Warrior of Atlantis" - "Divine Dragon Aquabizarre" (any number you see fit) - 3 "Levia-Dragon - Daedalus" OR 2 "Daedalus" and 1 "Neo-Daedalus" - This is gonna sound picky, but please, no cookie cutting if at all possible

That's all I can think of. Don't worry about budget, and thanks in advance. I also would like to request that either Resk! or Dark Ace SP be the Deckbuilder for my Deck please.

I would like to make a competetive tournament worthy...blue sworn deck. that is a deck based around getting out blue eyes shining yet able to get out judgement dragon and sync if nessesary. this will be a very challenging tasks im sure.
