  • The effect of "Spellbinding Circle" continuously targets the targeted monster. While this effect is being applied, that monster cannot attack, also it cannot change its battle position. (However, the effects of cards such as "Book of Moon" or "Book of Taiyou" can change the monster's battle position.)[1]
  • This card cannot be activated during the Damage Step.[1]
  • This card being destroyed because the targeted monster was destroyed does not start a Chain Link. (This is also applied during the Damage Step.)[1]

Previously Official Rulings

  • You can activate "Change of Heart" and take control of a monster targeted by "Spellbinding Circle" but you cannot attack with it or change its Battle Position.
