Q&A Rulings

- Q: I activate the effect of "Orcustrion", targeting my banished "Orcust Brass Bombard", "Orcust Cymbal Skeleton", and "Orcust Harp Horror". If my opponent chains "Burial from a Different Dimension" and returns all 3 targeted monsters to the Graveyard, how does the effect of "Orcustrion" resolve?
- A: In this scenario, if all 3 monsters targeted with the effect of "Orcustrion" have been returned to the Graveyard by the effect of "Burial from a Different Dimension", and are no longer banished when the effect resolves, no part of the effect is applied.[2]
- Q: My opponent activated the effect of their "Orcustrion", making the ATK of my linked "Crusadia Spatha" become 0 and negating its effects. If I then activate "Castle Link" and move that "Crusadia Spatha" to a different Main Monster Zone so that it is no longer linked, what happens?
- A: The effect of "Orcustrion" is applied to any face-up monster on your opponent's field that is linked to another monster at the time the effect resolves. Those monsters' ATK remain 0 and their effects are negated as long as they are face-up on the field. Even if they change zones afterward so that they are no longer linked, their effects remain negated.[3]
