Card Rulings:Trojan Blast
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Trojan Blast" targets 1 monster whose control was changed from you to the opponent.[1]
- This card cannot be activated during the Damage Step.[1]
- The damage inflicted is equal to the ATK the monster had while on the field.[1]
- If control of multiple monsters you controlled is changed to your opponent, this card can only affect 1 of those monsters.[1]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[2] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - You can activate "Trojan Blast" when a face-down monster shifts control, such as with "Creature Swap". But no damage will be inflicted because it was face-down.
- You cannot activate "Trojan Blast" when a monster shifts control to become an Equip Card. So you cannot activate "Trojan Blast" when "Relinquished" or "Allure Queen" equips itself with your monster.
- "Trojan Blast" is not a targeting effect. Select the monster when "Trojan Blast" resolves.
