Traditional Format[edit]
- This card can be Summoned by using "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force" on "Herald of Pure Light".* Choosing monster effects with this card shuts down "Dragon Ruler" Decks.* Using the effect:
- Activate this card's effect and declare Spells at the end of your turn, so it wouldn't affect you at all, while keeping your opponent from activating their key Spells.
- If your opponent has a massive back row and you don't rely on your own, use this card's effect and declare Traps prior to your Battle Phase. Use it when you don't have a face-up "Royal Decree".* If the opponent controls a face-up monster, Normal Summon "Marauding Captain" and use its effect to Special Summon a Level 4 Monster Card with 1500 ATK or less, then activate "Inferno Reckless Summon". Use the Special Summoned monsters to Xyz Summon this monster.* Xyz Summon this card by using "Daybreaker" and "Photon Lead".* This card is a great addition to "Six Samurai" Extra Deck to combine with "Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En" and "Naturia" Synchro Monsters.* This is an excellent monster to use in a "Crystal Beast" Deck. You can Special Summon the materials needed to Summon this monster with "Crystal Beacon" or "Crystal Abundance". (Note: When using "Crystal Beacon", make sure to Summon "Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle" to swarm the field with Xyz fodder. If you have another Level 3 monster, you can overlay "Ruby" with it to Summon "Number 20: Giga-Brilliant" to boost the ATK of "Shock Master", making it an even more formidable foe.) "Shock Master" is especially devastating after using "Crystal Abundance", as your opponent will find it difficult to top deck their way back into their game after having their field cleared.* You can Xyz summon this monster easily in "Harpie" Decks with "Hysteric Party" and "Elegant Egotist".* Xyz Summon this monster through this procedure: First Normal Summon "Rescue Rabbit" and use its effect to Special Summon two Level 4 Normal Monsters. Then use "Double Summon" to Normal Summon another Level 4 Monster Card to the field. Then overlay the three monsters to Xyz Summon "Shock Master".* Use "Ultimate Offering" to Normal Summon all 9 of the "Gadget" monsters to Summon 3 copies of "Shock Master". Use each of their effects to make Monsters/Spells/Traps useless and OTK the opponent.
- A much more practical option this format, where Continuous Trap Cards won't last a turn is to use "Gadget" monsters with "Chain Summoning" and any chainable effect ("Book of Moon", "Enemy Controller", "Crashbug Road", "Kagetokage"). Summon the "Gadget", then chain the chainable card to the "Gadget" addition, then chain "Chain Summoning" to that. Afterwards, Summon this card. This has the advantage of protecting "Ultimate Offering", and also allows for the play to begin on the first turn.* This card can be used with "Royal Decree" to further limit the opponent.* Use this card with "Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude" to circumvent bypass the restriction on activating Spell Cards, as the effect of "Diamond Dude" does not count as the activation of a Spell.* Combine this card with "Naturia Bamboo Shoot" and "Solemn Warning" to prevent your opponent from playing any cards at all. Your opponent will be unable to play any Spells or Traps, use any monster effects, or Summon a monster thus creating a complete Lockdown, however, note that this card's effect will disallow your own use of traps on your opponent's turn as well if Traps are selected as part of it's activation.* Another lockdown is also possible with the combination of this card (blocking Spell Cards), "Royal Decree" (blocking Trap Cards), and "Vylon Omega" (negating monster effects). Only usable for 3 turns, though.
- For Summoning this card in a "Vylon" Deck, you can use the combination of "Vylon Element" and "Rod of Silence - Kay'est" to gather 3 "Vylon Prism" and Xyz Summon this card.* A combination of "Madolche Magileine", "Ultimate Offering" and "Madolche Cruffssant" can Summon 2 of this card plus another 2 "Madolche Queen Tiaramisu" and only need the first two cards at hand.
