Junk Warrior's ATK

I have Speed Warrior on our field, then I Synchro Summon Junk Warrior. Junk Warrior gains Speed Warrior's ATK, 900 ATK. If Speed Warrior is destroyed, does that mean Junk Warrior's ATK goes down to 2300? -- J0V1 P4RD0MU4N S14G14N the Keyblade Master 00:54, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

  • Yes it does because their is no longer a Speed Warrior to boost it's ATK. Diehard Guy 11:29, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
  • I don't think so. "Junk Warrior"'s effect works differently in real life than in the game. It gains the ATK of the monsters when it's Synchro Summoned. Danny Lilithborne 16:16, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

About Summoning

Does it gain ATK only in the turn it was Synchro Summoned? Diehard Guy 11:29, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Dark Synchro and Junk Warrior

If the Dark Synchro Monsters are released...

Junk Warrior gains the ATK of them? (Level 2 or LOWER, technically are a Negative Level, so, is less that 2, i'm right?) —This unsigned comment was made by Striker XEther (talkcontribs) 14:58, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Depends on what rulings Konami give Dark Synchros. We'll just have to wait and see. -- Deltaneos (talk) 14:59, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Incorrect use of card in ruling?

When "Neo-Spacian Dark Panther" or "Phantom of Chaos" has its name changed to "Junk Synchron", and then becomes a Tuner monster with "Lightwave Tuning", you can use it as a Synchro Material Monster for "Junk Warrior".[3]

According to the rulings page, it says that you can use Lightwave Tuning on Neo-Spacian Dark Panther or Phantom of Chaos while copying Junk Synchron. This is incorrect, because Lightwave Tuning requires a Level 4 Light monster and neither monsters fit the condition for activation. The ruling should either be taken out or amended to "when Neo-Spacian Dark Panther or Phantom of Chaos' attribute to change to Light".

The ruling does not mention anything about changing it to a LIGHT monster, so it is not included. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 21:17, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

Junk Warrior's Effect

If Junk Warrior is Synchro Summoned while you have a Quillbolt Hedgehog on your side of the field and your opponent removes the Quillbolt Hedgehog from the field, does Junk Warrior's ATK drop by 800 due to the removal of Quillbolt Hedgehog? (Omnicron245 (talkcontribs) 23:38, March 3, 2011 (UTC))

Gaining ATK is not a Continuous effect, it does not care where the other monsters go afterwards, the ATK stays as long as he is face-up on the field.
Getting ignored for 8 months is common if you don't ask ruling questions in the forum. Getting ignored for 2 years is the record so far. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 07:57, November 17, 2011 (UTC)

Rulings

Say when you Synchro Junk Warrior and an Effect activates to summon more Level 2 monsters to your field, like Dandylion or Doppelwarrior. Do the effects begin a chain? If so, can I choose to activate Junk Warrior's effect first and the summon effect second, so when they resolve in reverse he gains the ATK of the new monsters?—This unsigned comment was made by Drake Clawfang (talkcontribs) 07:22, 2011 November 17
