You dont know the rules of yugioh

Half of this wikia is based on wrong Rulings If a monsters effect sets the ATK/DEF that was ? to a amount the effect has faded so the new ATK/DEF is on as long the monster stays on the field. First I Didnt insult others I insulted you. Second if the Card's effect is This card's ATK is equal to (Values) then the ATK is changed by flipping face down. But if the cards effect is like: The original ATK and/or DEF of this card (Values) or This card's ATK and/or DEF become equal to (Values) the ATK is only changed if the card is removed from the field!!! (Did you ever read the official rules on a world championship or the pharao tour?)

Do you mean Konami FAQ(fan made site), Yu-Judges (they are Konami approved but not made by Konami) and Konami DE (Translaton from the real site) Look at the http://www.yugioh-card.com/japan/ for the ruling Changes by gaming style. (Tournament, Free, Official, Bet,...) Overdragons new ATK and DEF are <First removed after the card is summoned again, sent to the deck or RFP, because it states the ORIGINAL ATK and DEF while Montage Dragons ATK is held by its effect(Skill Drain effect ATK of Montage not the ORIGINAL ATK and DEF of Overdragon).

But Fortress dragon Edits the 0 to x1000 Value while the Overdragons ? are x800 Value monsters. And Sry I made a mistake with the translating of Cyber Eltanin but there is a whole article on the net with arguing about what stats are changed by what cause (a idiot wrote that the ATk change od Axt of Despair is effective even is the Card is removed by MST or Heavy Storm) LOL SRY Fot the insult again

Are You Sure?

The text on Precious Cards From Beyond states that you draw two cards if you "...tribute summon or set a monster that required two or more tributes..." it doesn't specify that it has to be two monsters.--Dragonking 03:37, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

But the effect that applies considers to number of tributes to be two. Take money for example. a double tributer is like the ever rare two-dollar bill: it's a single bill, but the value is that of two dollars. Other types of summoning level 7+ monsters by tributing one monster like Tribute Doll, go more along the lines of a discount in the metaphor, where you only pay one tribute/dollar for something worth two tributes/dollars.--Dragonking 21:41, November 17, 2009 (UTC)

Judges forum rulings

Don't know if you've already noticed, but Yu-Judges also includes rulings from the Judges forum.

Are these rulings taken word-for-word or are they based on what was written by the Judges? I've seen a couple of minor mistakes (e.g. miscapitalising or leaving out hypens). Should we fix these these or leave them as they are?

Some of them are the same as the main TCG rulings. (e.g. the first one for "Light-Imprisoning Mirror". Do we need to list them too? -- Deltaneos (talk) 04:30, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

Worms

Looks like the first part of "Worm King's" effect requires a Retiple-Type, so there seemingly goes the ability to Tribute "Dimensionhole" or "Electric Virus". But supposing, 1 was to use "DNA Surgery", selecting Reptile, would they be eligible in that case? Assuming these Worms get released in the TCG and someone was to combine "DNA Surgery" with a non-"ワーム" "Worm", like "Humanoid Worm Drake"... Should we change card texts to accomodate for these bizzare situations?

Face-down Attack Position

Hey. I heard that Darkness Approaches is the only case in which there can a face-down Attack Position monster, but what about Curse of Fiend? Its lore doesn't say that it switches to face-up Attack, just that it switches positions. This question suddenly hit me when I saw the Face-down page. Second Coin Toss

I'm Dueling with a guy here. He is using Arcana Force. He is Discuting with me that Second Coin Toss negates the effect of a card once per turn, but that you can Activate it any times as you want in different cards. Question about Second Booster's effect

Ok, it's effect on this site it says "When the ATK of 1 monster you control is changed, you can Tribute this card to have that monster gain 1500 ATK." but according to Shriek's site it's effect [in OCG terminology] is ""Activate by Releasing this card, and selecting 1 face-up Attack Position monster you control. The selected monster gains 1500 ATK until the End Phase." and no where does it talk about anything changing, beyond the selected monster gaining 1500 ATK. Question on Talk:Priority

There was an answer given on Talk:Priority, which I think was wrong, but I'd like to check with you first. "The Creator Incarnate", has an Ignition Effect, so when you Summon it you can call priority and activate it. Since Tributing itself is a cost, it gets Tributed before the opponent can chain anything. The opponent can't play "Bottomless Trap Hole" then because "The Creator Incarnate" is in the Graveyard. combo idea

Is this legal? Say i played polymerization and fused material monsters then enter battle phase and attack with the fusion then activate de-fusion and split my fusion monster back into the fusion materials and attack once more with them, then i activate Super poly and fuse my monsters again and attack with the fusion monster. RE:Contradict on "Necrovalley"

The contradiction was saying that Necrovalley in TCG can only negate effects that target cards in the Graveyard. But according to its second ruling it also negates (err, prevents) costs and effects that require removing cards from the Graveyard (Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End, Dark Necrofear, ect)! I don't think the ruling is worded that much incredibly badly as you're saying! I think the "negate" in the ruling is refereed to the "effects that require removing cards from the Graveyard" and not that much to the "costs". Of course costs cannot be negated (unless some exceptions), and that's why I said the "(err, prevents)". I said "negates" first because this is what the ruling says! By the way, Necrovalley can also negate cards that does not target cards in the Graveyard like Big Burn, ect! ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 21:07, January 15, 2010 (UTC)
Ah! Now I saw it! Necrovalley's second effect! I was looking only to its first effect and I was wondering why Book of Life couldn't be able to be activated since it's not only affecting cards in the Graveyard, but it also targets them!
And, with the missing of Necrovalley's second effect, according to Big Burn's ruling, it seemed that it could also negate cards that do not target cards in the Graveyard. The ruling says also "negate" instead of "prevents" which making the perfect confusion. lol!
Hmm! I'm not seeing a ruling saying that Necrovalley can negate effects that do not target cards in the Graveyard, but since its text says "affects" instead of "targets" I guess that it should negate also effects that do not target.
By the way, it's fine with me to keep the contradiction if you want to!

Ok, how does Venom Swamp effect the Helios monsters? Cause i currently have Helios - The Primordial Sun on the field and it has 500 Atk/Def. What happens upon ending the turn?. Rulings' Sources!

Hi! Well, do you know how long will Netrep is going to live? From what I'm seeing it doesn't seem that it is going to close. So, I'm wondering, shouldn't be better if we continue to keep it as source of the TCG rulings until it closes, and then replace it with the yu-judges site?

Also, some ruling pages have some rulings from the JERP, or Wikia(J) and are placed as Semi-Official OCG ruling. Since we only keep the clear official rulings shouldn't be better to delete them? Here are some examples: Card Rulings:Deck Devastation Virus, Card Rulings:Skull Lair, Card Rulings:Total Defense Shogun.

So, I guess that we will continue to keep Netrep as a source of the rulings! (It also has been updated to have the newly released cards and rulings from CRMS, ANPR, ect, from what I'm seeing, but I think it is better to have Konami's official PDF pages as source for them instead of Netrep).
Also, what about the Judge List's rulings from the yu-judges site? Should we keep those? I think it is better to keep them since they are official.
About the Semi-Official OCG rulings I don't know if it is a good idea to keep any of them since they aren't official. But....nevermind! We can keep them if you want!

"Hundred-Eyes Dragon" a "Red-Eyes"

Is capitalisation not taken into account when identifying monsters with a certain term in their name? i.e. "red-Eyes" v "Red-Eyes". Considering how "roid" support cards always keep the "r" lowercase to match the card names. -- Deltaneos (talk) 04:03, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

Fusion Sage

Fusion Sage says you can add 1 "Polymerization" Card from your deck to your hand. This will allow someone to add "Super Polymerization" to their hand. I'm just wondering if someone would be able to add Super Polymerization to their hand, or if Fusion Sage has been Errata to say otherwise?

The main concept is when a "recommended card list" is made, like on the Spell Counter Deck page, the cards have a reason why the card was added to the list. Beat a D.D. Deck

Hi Dues Ex Machina. I was wondering if you had any ways to beat a Remove from Play/Monarch Deck. There's this annoying guy who uses cards like D.D. Survivor with other cards like Dimensional Fissure and uses Monarchs to clear my field. Do you know how to beat one? I don't have an Imperial Iron Wall... so it's hard to beat it...
