Yu-Gi-Oh!
- This card had a different effect in the anime. If this card was used on Kuriboh you could "infinitely" multiply him. Of course this would be impossible because a player can only have 5 monster zones (10 with The Seal of Orichalcos). Additionally, it would be impossible to win the duel without running out of cards after successive attacks.
- This card was first used in Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba's second duel. Yugi used this along with "Kuriboh" to create a defensive shield that Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" couldn't destroy, allowing Yugi to protect himself from Kaiba's attacks and enabling him to utilize another combo to weaken Kaiba's monster each turn while its attacks were blocked off by the many "Kuribohs". It is also visible in his hand from the first turn.
- It was next used in Yami Yugi's duel with Maximillion Pegasus. Yami activated this card, so that way his "Kuriboh" will become a "Kuriboh" wall and protect "Magician of Black Chaos" from the effect of "Thousand-Eyes Restrict". As a result of this, "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" had no choice, but to absorb the "Kuribohs". After it gained the ATK of "Kuriboh", the "Kuribohs" all self destructed which resulted in "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" being blinded and its effect negated.
- This card was set in Yugi and Kaiba's first tag team duel against Lumis and Umbra, but he did not activate it as Kaiba defeated Lumis and Umbra all by himself.
- This card was used in Yugi and Kaiba's second tag team duel against Lumis and Umbra. Yugi used this card and "Kuriboh" to save Kaiba from the direct attack made by "Shining Abyss". Later Lumis activated "Mask of Dispel" targeting its effect on this card, negating this card's effect and inflicting 500 points of damage to Yugi during each of his Standby Phases. Because this card's effect was negated, the "Kuriboh" shield was reduced back down to one "Kuriboh". "Kuriboh" was then destroyed by "Grand Tiki Elder". This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
- In episode 99, this card appears when Yami Yugi was building his Virtual World Deck before his Duel with Gansley.
- In episode 106, this card can be seen when Duke Devlin, Tristan Taylor, and Serenity Wheeler were building their Decks for their Duel against Nezbitt.
- In episode 108, this card can be seen when Seto Kaiba was building his Deck for his Duel against Leichter.
- This card was used again in Yami Yugi's duel with Yami Marik. Yami Yugi targeted "Metal Fiend Token" for this card's effect, summoning two more "Metal Fiend Tokens" to the field. Yami Yugi then tributes all three tokens to summon "Obelisk the Tormentor".
- In episode 182, Yami Yugi uses this card in the battle against The Great Leviathan. After the chosen Duelists' first attempt to defeat The Great Leviathan failed. Yami Yugi has "Timaeus" absorb the power of this card and "Kuriboh". "Timaeus" then attacks the Great Leviathan, but the attack fails to destroy it.
- In episode 198, this card is seen in Yami Yugi's hand during his Duel against Leon von Schroeder.
- In episode 220, two copies of this card are shown when Yugi is shown building his Deck for the Ceremonial Battle.
- In the anime, Multiply was a Continuous Spell Card and could be used on any monster with an ATK of 500 or less. For instance, during Yugi's duel with Yami Marik, Multiply was used on a Metal Fiend Token, creating three copies of it. This enabled Yugi to summon Obelisk the Tormentor.
- This card can be seen when Yugi is building his Virtual World deck before his duel with Gansley during episode 99.
- In the manga, Yami Bakura used this card on Necro Mannequin to prevent Yugi from attacking.
- In addition, Multiply was drawn slightly different in the Japanese anime compared to the English anime and the OCG.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
- Dimitri used this card during his duel with Jaden Yuki while the former was using Yugi's deck. It was depicted with its TCG/OCG effect this time. When "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" equipped with "Bubble Blaster" attacked "Kuriboh", Dimitri activated this card to Tribute this card and summon four "Kuriboh tokens". This causes a replay to occur and Jaden chooses to have "Bubbleman" destroy one of the four tokens. Another token is later destroyed by "Elemental HERO Sparkman". On Jaden's next turn, the last two tokens are destroyed by "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix" and "Elemental HERO Avian".
