I've got a question. Let's say that I attack with a monster, and my opponent chains Shadow Spell to my attack, then I chain MST to Shadow Spell. Would my monster be able to continue its attack once the Shadow Spell is destroyed by MST? [[User:Vegita11554|Vegita11554]] 23:06, March 11, 2010 (UTC)

Why is this card Limited? It only destroys one Spell or Trap Card, altough it has no cost.

It's limited because it's a Quickplay spell. Quickplays have the same Speed as regular Traps. Say you have it facedown and your opponent activates Call Of The Haunted or Premature Burial, you can chain to that instantly and destroy it. With no added cost or any adverse side effects, it is practically free to use to blow up a Spell or Trap, not to mention it can even be played during your opponent's turn.

Two Words: Dust Tornado. The only difference is that it can be played from your hand at any time during the turn it is played. Sabre Knight 22:14, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

True it can be played from your hand, making it very effective. Remember these spell cards require the lightning symbol. Naruto156770.52.45.139 02:12, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

Activating a targeted Trap Card

I activate my Mystical Space Typhoon in my Main Phase 1 and select my opponents face-down Threatening Roar. Is it possible that my opponent activates Threatening Roar in response to my Mystical Space Typhoon? The same problem with Elemental Hero Stratos and Imperial Order (nonsense if a spell restricor cannot restrict a spell card). (It is not possible in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2 though)LeviLeviathan 21:04, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

  • Yes, your opponent can chain Threatening Roar to MST and activate it. --Bluedog (Talk) 21:07, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

How about Field Spells? I've activated this in response to Skyscraper 2 - Hero City's revival effect and my opponent insisted that the effect still activated, but the card was destroyed afterwards. An onlooker stated that this is how things work in the games, so I let it go, but... Spell Speed 2 typhoon vs Spell Speed 1 city... Well, I'm still confused as you can probably tell. Any help? --Clockwork-Artichoke 22:07, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

Fun fact; your opponent was absolutely wrong. If your opponent activates the effect of a continuous spell/continuous trap/field spell, and you chain a card to destroy your opponent's card, their effect is negated. Runer5h 22:09, September 10, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h
  • Hooray! It's not that important, I still won. Useful to know, though. ^^ Thanks very much!

destroying a face down trap

So if I use MST to destroy a face down trap, I'll use Ojama Trio as an example, can my opponent still activate the card ojama trio before it is destroyed?

No, because MST DOSEN'T NEGATE THE ACTIVATION!!!

Yes. --Blue (Talk) 19:12, March 23, 2010 (UTC)
