- When Jack Atlas summons this card, he chants "The ruler's heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation-shaking power! Synchro Summon! My very soul, Red Demons Dragon!".
- In Episode 113; according to Jack in the Japanese version, he says that Red Demons Dragon is part of his own soul.
- Its attack names in the Japanese anime are "Blazing Crimson Hell Flare" and "Absolute Power Force" and its effect is "Demon Meteor". In the English anime, its attack names are "Scorching Crimson Flare" and "Absolute Power Force". Also, unlike most dragons who shoot their attacks from their mouths, "Red Dragon Archfiend" gathers a ball of fire above its fist, and then lets fly with its Attack.
Anime appearances
- In episode 4, Jack used "Dark Resonator" and "Big Piece Golem" to Synchro Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend" against Yusei Fudo. The Duel continued in episode 5, where both players' moves focus entirely on "Red Dragon Archfiend" and "Stardust Dragon".
- In episode 8, Jack used this against Hunter Pace. He Tributed "Dark Resonator" to Summon "Big Piece Golem" and used "Revival Gift" to revive "Dark Resonator". He then used both of them to Synchro Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend". He attacked "Burning Skull Head" and used "Red Dragon Archfiend's" effect to destroy Hunter's remaining monsters and used "Lineage of Destruction" to allow it to attack Hunter again defeating him.
- In flashbacks shown in episode 25, Jack Summoned this to scare off a group of boys who were chasing and about to attack Rally Dawson.
- In episode 25, Jack used "Powerful Rebirth" to revive "Twin-Sword Marauder" and also increase its Level by 1, so he could use it with "Dark Tinker" to Synchro Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend" against Yusei.
- In episode 26, Jack used this to attack and destroy Yusei's "Junk Warrior". After Yusei Synchro Summoned "Stardust Dragon" using "Hyper Synchron", Jack used "Tuner Capture" to take "Hyper Synchron".
Yusei attacked "Red Dragon Archfiend" with "Stardust Dragon", whose ATK was increased due to "Hyper Synchron". Jack played "Tuner's Mind", returning "Red Dragon Archfiend" to the Extra Deck, reviving its Synchro Material Monsters, "Twin-Sword Marauder" and "Dark Tinker" and forcing "Stardust Dragon" to attack "Dark Tinker".
Next turn Jack resummoned "Red Dragon Archfiend" using "Hyper Synchron" and "Twin-Sword Marauder". He used it to attack "Stardust Dragon", which wasn't destroyed due to "Hyper Synchron", but Yusei took Battle Damage. He also used "Fiend Cannon" to inflict futher damage.
Yusei used "Speed Spell - Silver Contrails" to increase "Stardust Dragon's" ATK and attacked "Red Dragon Archfiend" inflicting Battle Damage and more damage via "Synchro Blast".
Jack attacked "Stardust Dragon" with "Red Dragon Archfiend" inflicting more Battle Damage and dropping Yusei's Life Points to 400. Yusei activated "Cross Line Counter" selecting "Stardust Dragon" raising its ATK and making "Red Dragon Archfiend" attacked it again, dropping Jack's Life Points to 800.
When Yusei activated "Meteor Stream", Jack could chain "Crimson Fire", negating the damage and inflicting the same amount to Yusei. In response, Yusei activated "Shining Silver Force", negating the damage, and destroying all of Jack's Spell and Trap Cards. (At this point Yusei should have won, since "Crimson Fire's" effect was negated, "Meteor Stream" should have still resolved, inflicting 1000 damage to Jack)
On Yusei's last turn, he activated "Speed Spell - Final Attack", selecting "Stardust Dragon" and attacked "Red Dragon Archfiend", winning the Duel.
- In episode 59, Jack tuned "Vice Dragon" and "Dark Resonator" to summon "Red Dragon Archfiend" against Carly Carmine.
- In episode 63, Jack used this against Rex Goodwin in the ultimate and final shadow turbo duel.
- In episode 73, Jack summoned this card by tuning "Sword Master" with "Dark Bug" and "Twin-Sword Marauder". It then proceeded to destroy Yusei's "Backup Warrior".
- In episode 83 and Episode 84, the Imposter Jack Atlas possessed three copies of "Red Dragon Archfiend", each with a different color scheme (purple, yellow and blue as opposed the standard red), while Jack used a normal version.
- In episode 98, Jack used this card against Andore . He first summoned it tuning "Dark Resonator" and "Vice Dragon", but it was later destroyed. Then Jack used "Rage Resynchro" to summon it from graveyard tuning "Dark Resonator" which was special summoned from graveyard using "Powerful Rebirth" and had level 4 and "Mad Archfiend".
- In episode 106, Jack used this card when he dueled Ghost. He tuned "Vice Berserker with "Trap Eater" to summon it. Then he used effect of "Vice Berserker" to raise an attack points of Red Dragon Archfiend by paying 2000 Life Points.
- In episode 108, Jack also used this card when he dueled one of the Ghosts.
- In episode 111, Jack tuned "Vice Dragon" and "Dark Resonator" to Synchro Summon this card when he dueled Max.
- In episode 113, Jack tuned "Big Piece Golem" and "Dark Resonator" to Synchro Summon this card when he dueled Familiar of Scar-Red Nova.
- In episode 118, Jack tuned "Vice Dragon" and "Dark Resonator" to Synchro Summon this card when he dueled Dragan.
- In episode 119, Jack tuned "Twin-Sword Marauder", "Battle Fader" and "Sword Master" to Synchro Summon this card when he dueled Yoshizo Hayashi.
