• This card works well with "Inferno Reckless Summon".

• If "Spell Striker" is equipped with "Heart of Clear Water", it will be immune to battle as well as destruction by effects that target. Counters are "Mystical Space Typhoon" and "Dust Tornado" (for the Equip Spell Card), as well as "Dark Hole" "Compulsory Evacuation Device", and Bounce Decks in general.

• Equip this card with "Armor Breaker", because each time "Spell Striker" attacks, 1 card will be destroyed on the field.

• This card works excellently as Tribute fodder, especially for "Monarch" monsters. "Pot of Avarice" can help cycle the reuse of both "Spell Striker" and the "Monarchs".

• Equip this with "Mist Body" and "Mage Power" to make it virtually indestructible and power it up at the same time.

• This card is generally good in Speed Synchro Decks.

• Combo this card with "Hidden Armory", "Armory Call", "Noble Knight's Spearholder", "Tool Box", "Infernoble Knight - Roland", "Gearbreed".

• Equip with "Unstable Evolution"; regardless of your total Life Points, the ATK of "Spell Striker" will rise.

• Use this with "United We Stand" in a swarming Deck as it can attack opponent directly even when they have monsters on the field, for maximum damage.
  • Combo this with "Scapegoat" at the end of your opponent's turn, then Summon "Spell Striker" on your next turn for an OTK.

• Use this card with "Gravity Bind", "Level Limit - Area B", "Wall of Revealing Light", "Swords of Revealing Light" in a Burn and Stall Deck.

• When destroyed by an effect or in battle and equipped with a Spell Card, the Equip Spell Card will usually end up in the Graveyard, enabling another "Spell Striker" to be Special Summoned from your hand for a Tribute or possible Synchro Summon.

• This card is especially good in "Crystal Beast" variants, as it is easy to get Spell Cards into the Graveyard. It can be used as either Tribute fodder ("Kuraz the Light Monarch") or for a Synchro Summon.
