Revision as of 21:35, 14 October 2019
- This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Transmodify", "Mimiclay", "Serpentine Princess", "Vampire Dragon", "Dragunity Corsesca", "Sangan", "Rescue Ferret", "Flying Kamakiri #1", "Kujakujaku", "Shrine of Mist Valley", "Divine Wind of Mist Valley", "Emergency Teleport", "Doctor Cranium", "Gusto Codor", "Gusto Falco", "Gusto Griffin", "Gusto Gulldo", "Gusto Egul", "Gusto Thunbolt" and "Whirlwind of Gusto" .
- You can use "Emergency Teleport" to Special Summon this card, then Normal Summon "Gusto Gulldo" to Synchro Summon "Daigusto Gulldos".
- However, Summoning "Winda" with "Emergency Teleport" during your opponent's Battle Phase can be quite dangerous. Even "Winda" can protect your Life Points, your opponent can just simply stop their attacks and leave this card banished during the End Phase, which can put you in a serious disadvantage.
- This card can Special Summon "Gusto Egul", "Gusto Gulldo", "Gusto Squirro" or "Gusto Falco".
- Summoning both Gusto Tuner monsters will allow you to block up to nine attacks in one turn (Use the effect of "Winda" to summon "Gusto Gulldo", then use the effect of "Gulldo" to summon "Gusto Egul", then use the effect of "Egul" to summon "Winda" again), by searching this card through the Tuners, and using this card to search the Tuners.
- By using the effect of "Caam, Serenity of Gusto" (Which can be Summoned by "Gusto Egul"), you can ensure that this loop will always available (assuming your opponent does not banish any of the loop's components).
- Since "Winda" is the only way to maintain the Gusto searcher streams and also providing the easiest access to "Daigusto Gulldos", it is highly important to protecting this card against any banishment attempts (much like "Gladiator Beast Bestiari" in Gladiator Beasts).
- This is due to "Gusto Egul" cannot search "Gusto Gulldo" with its own effect.
- However, if banishments really occurs, you can salvage this card from the Banished Zone by "Brain Hazard", "Bright Future" or "Burial from a Different Dimension".
- Xyz Summoning can also be a nice alternative on protecting this card from banishment, especially if you know that your opponent having cards like "Caius the Shadow Monarch". Even if the Xyz Monster are banished, the Xyz Materials do not (assuming "Macro Cosmos" or "Banisher of the Radiance" is not active).
- "Gachi Gachi Gantetsu", in particular, can providing nice defense for few turns, since it can even protect itself from something like "Dark Hole", which "Winda" cannot.
- Psycho-Gusto variant (which utilize "Emergency Teleport" and "Serene Psychic Witch") can also Xyz Summon "Leviair the Sea Dragon" for bringing back any banished searchers.
Traditional Format
- This card can be searched by "Mind Master", "Last Will" and "Witch of the Black Forest".
