Duel Arena

Hey Goldie, I had a question. I've uploaded quite a few Arena cards already and I'm now starting to upload the card images from the in-game encyclopedia (I forgot the encyclopedia existed in-game). Do the images I upload need to go into the gallery as soon as possible, or should I keep uploading cards and put them into the galleries later with help from Igor and other users? --Dark Ace SP (TalkPage) 16:40, July 1, 2014 (UTC)

You can batch upload now and let them be sorted out later. We're not on a deadline for getting this all done, so work at your own leisure. Rarities don't show up

I suppose, in relation to the last issue I had, which seems to have been resolved now, by the way, I seem to have another problem when I edited the "Gem-Armadillo" article to include the templates in the TCG and OCG card releases section. The North American English and Japanese releases don't display the card's rarity, which is Duel Terminal Rare Parallel Rare. Unless I'm typing the rarity's name wrong, which I don't believe is the case, or there is a change in the name the wiki is giving the rarity like the transition from "Gold Ultra Rare" to "Gold Rare", is this another glitch? Realm Of Light Box Art

I've added a scanned version of the Box Art to the Page yet again. I;ve done this before with the Saga of the Blue Eyes White Dragon and Yugi and Kaiba reloaded decks and got the green light to stay. Cannot move article to TCG English name

Hello, I attempted to move the article "Fantasia Maiden Aria" to "Aria the Melodious Diva", which is the TCG English name as revealed on this article: https://yugiohblog.konami.com/articles/?p=6342 However, when I tried to do so, I got this message: "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reason:

The page could not be moved: a page of that name already exists, or the name you have chosen is not valid. Please choose another name, or ask an administrator to help you with the move. Please do not manually move the article by copying and pasting it; the page history must be moved along with the article text."

Shard question

I was looking at that. Some of the things you have listed are really dropped or unresolved plot points, rather than plot holes. If Sly had actually stolen Stardust Dragon but in the next episode Yusei had it back with no explanation, that would have been a plot hole. --Golden Key (talk • contribs) 14:06, July 18, 2014 (UTC)
I think I can edit the section to be called "5d's Plot holes/unresolved plot points and dropped things that deserved an explanation. I actually just realized there was 1 I didn't say, why Z-one didn't just evacuate everyone in the City and then destroy the momentum, which would have took care of the "having no choice but to sacrifice those in the City so others can be saved" argument Z-one gave. It felt kind of pointless when it came to the Sly wanting Stardust Dragon deal, because there was no reason to bring it up if they weren't going to do anything with it. Granted Sly in the original isn't a jerk like his dub counterpart, so I could assume he would have probably asked Yusei if he could simply borrow it at one point, but they could have at least brought up his interest in the card again. Surprise victory

Hello, Golden Key. I was, recently, looking to some Gaming Terms, when I had an idea of adding this new term "Surprise Victory". As the own name implies, it is when you gain the duel without your opponent expecting for so (for example, the opponent activates 1 "Backs to the Wall then i activate 1 "Chain Detonation"), I know this may be senseless, but won't hurt to try. There are a lot of informal terms that we could use on the site, but if we used them all it would get cluttered. I think "surprise victory" is one we can continue to exclude. Re:Licensing

Thank you for correcting me. I'll try not to make those mistakes anymore (or, at the very least, upload each file as .png). In case I make them again, please, do not hesitate to explain exactly what I was doing wrong.

Also, you're very welcome. I should be the one thanking you, methinks :P As a current admin on the Spanish YGO! wiki, I believe that collaborating on this wiki is vital, as well as a way to return the favour for the many times I have snatched this or that from here. And, well, I personally am one for helping those who share my passion with what very little knowledge or information I can muster. That's why I prefer to fix lores to upload images, but, in this case, I do know that this wiki is in sore need of Spanish card images, and I am glad to provide the ones I came across in my effords to confirm names for each card released in Spanish but which editions have been superseded by more recent prints, as (as far as I know), the Spanish wiki does not tend to keep older versions in a gallery.

As I told UltimateKuriboh, the thing with the Spanish wiki and images was that there was an unwritten policy of not uploading photos as a means to give users a reason to collaborate-to the point that admins would upload images in here but just changed the lore (and name, if needed) on the Spanish wiki. As time went by and users wouldn't really act as expected, there were a good 1500 cards with no card image in Spanish. I am currently working with a couple of users there in order to change the situation.
Concerning the sources, the main one's Yugiohcards.es. The catch is that the images are watermarked, but it's usually up to date. It's not that I like it, but more often than not it's the only way to get them online. An interesting one I found is this site: though it's not complete, it has some old cards that the first site lacks of. Then, I also check minor store sites which might have the odd card or sites focused on collectionism, such as this. And, of course, eBay can be a goldmine. For example, I recently found the whole Stardust Overdrive Deck and another nice thing. When it comes to Spansh language sites, it appears that this is rather huge in the Spanish-speaking American countries. The last thing I found was a nifty Flickr collection with over 200 images worthy of old cards. These are the ones I'm currently dealing with by dowloading them in bulks. I hope this was of any help! Normally, I search them card by card from wherever Google takes me after typing the card name or its set code, but I always try to use the chance to work when I find several ones at the same place. Re: Sub-series pages

I wanted to create "Superheavy Samurai Soul" series, because they do differ from "Superheavy Samurai" in both appearance and effects and I used "Dragunity Knight" and "Daigusto" as an example, but some guy said that it is really not necessary, so why these are necessary then? Image appearance?

I don't know which episode, opening, or ending song this image came from as I have looked through almost all of them and it doesn't show up. I later found out that this image was once on a website called http://www.gamerscripts.com. I almost assume that this image was created by fans since it appeared on a long line of cards that appear to be by the order in which episode they appeared in and many cards didn't have official images until yugioh.com which was way later.Cardsknower (talk • contribs) 00:00, September 5, 2014 (UTC)

Deck designing

What kind of deck should i design, i mean my cards are old school and so people think ima noob. I used to be the best, i dont know whay i cant win now. My vylons got totaled, my cyber end dragon never even made it to the feild, and i couldnt summon Ra when i needed it most. I cant compete with these new duelists. What should i do? Yeah, actually that was not intentional. When I renamed the main page, the links to rename the sub-pages didn't appear for some reason, so I had to do it manually. The Eye of Timaeus image

Do you know which episode this image came from? The other variation came from episode 181 of DM era, but I don't know which episode the current image came from. This is the only Legendary Dragon anime image that I can't find in the episodes of DM. Reply when possible if you have an answer. About image

I got "The Eye of Timaeus" image, but I only have it as it appeared during episode 181. I can't get Photoshop (which is the only thing that can tilt the image and make it look like the current version), so I don't know if I should upload it or not. What do you think I should do? I could have sworn that was said at one point, or maybe I'm thinking back to the things before season 3. In any case I removed it. It just seemed so inconsistant for their marks to be removed now of all times, when as far we know they had 6 months of peace twice after beating the Dark Signers and then Yliaster, and then when Yusei says the Crimson Dragon's role is done, it makes me scratch me head. I mean if it's role is done, wouldn't it just have took their marks away after the defeat of Yliaster or the Dark Signers, given after those there seemed to be a 6 month peace? While on the subject, are the ep13 ones I added legit (admittingly I think I will probably tweak the wording on the first half of the Yusei one later)? I think you may be misusing the section, Shard. I believe it was intended to be used for animation errors and card lore errors, that sort of thing. Not something that someone said in-universe that was incorrect. For one, we can't tell whether it was a writing error or an intentional error on the part of the writer - that the writer intended for the character to be incorrect. So, going by that logic, I don't really think the points in the episode 13 article are appropriate. Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 00:14, September 30, 2014 (UTC)
I remember error sections for that stuff, but I never knew where the limit was as far as errors go. You know me, I never try to speculate at all or misuse sections, so I do apoligize. I'll remove the 13 ones too. While on the topic of card lore errors, does the one in 132 count (the one where we all see on Bruno's screen showing that one trap and the lore, but Yusei wondered what it did right after that scene while he was looking at the screen)? Image helpings

I created this image as I saw that the first seen artwork of "Neos Force" is much different that its real life counterpart, however I can't detail the differences because I am unsure of how to word it (to be fair, I am only good at writing differences between original and international card artworks). Can you help write a card artworks page for this please. In addition to this, Elvin Kara has just uploaded fifteen more images from yugioh.com, but they are not in the card gallery page yet (I have no time to do so right now for the moment), so can you help with those as well?

Raid Raptors in SECE?

Could you please explain how the 'Number' archetype was listed in sets because of the anime effect, that is yet to be put on any iteration of an IRL 'Number', but the same argument cannot be made for Raid Raptors, despite both having anime cards that specify their respective archetypes? marik TCG structure deck card set doesnt appear

Hi there :) I said it to UltimateKuriboh, but I think you should know too. What...the...HECK!!??

In my standard amicable circumstances, I would bid unto thee my salutations BUT apparently, it looks like that not only has everything I done good here been all a lie but that ALSO, I'm not as well liked here as I thought I was. Very well and in being forthright here, I never really cared if I was given a good reception here or not--I just wanted to make this Wikia the best source for all things YGO!

But the LAST thing I anticipated was a block by THE one user here whom I THOUGHT appreciated my contribs here more than most. Man what a dumba$$ I was!

I'm pretty upfront-if there's issues, I say them to your face! I converted the gallery into .pngs and THOUGHT I was good to go, you understand!? But now, this must mean that now I'm perceived as trouble around here--you know I USED to be a trollin' douche around here but I self-repented and said that I wouldn't do this anymore to the series and card game that I LOVE more than (most of) my other hobbies. Hence what I'm doing now--trying to make it better. But if my rep has changed around here, that's fine--I wish that maybe I have been informed of whatever else I done wrong here and if I did do such, I apologize! But if you want me to abscond out of this Wikia for good, then DO IT--PERMANENTLY FORBID ME FROM HERE and I won't be back--the Wikia would be better off with one less defiler around here. Maybe this could of been talked about but the rules are the rules and if I'm just another gremlin-clad hellion around here, then SO BE IT!

Hey, how are things?
Don't adjust your UI--I (literally) struck out my "implosion" up there. And to me, it's obvious:
1) I don't ever wanna "do business" like the above. If you ask me, The Golden Rule ("treat others the way you want to be treated") is perhaps on of the most utilitarian virtues to be an overall good person! I loathe unnecessary drama and one of the LAST things I want to be here is the next FredCat (yep I've read about what he did last year..!)
2) I'll admit that my temporary cessation here came outta' left field but since it does (and I agree) appear that it was to prevent me from making editing errors that I wasn't aware of, then call me crazy, but I thank you for that. I however, am one to figure out how to do almost everything on my own and I'd rather not pester other users whom I KNOW have better things 2 do both on AND off the 'Net. Moreover, I feel that I'm too sluggish with edits and I feel the urge to do (most of) them rather quickly, especially when it comes to any images I wish to upload.
I hope that we can be on good terms again in spite of this because I don't wanna mean any iniquity here. Elemental HERO elements

Is "Elemental HERO Wildheart" supposed to have an Element that it's supposed to represent like the other non-Fusion Elemental HERO monsters Jaden used in the anime (not including "Elemental HERO Neos"). In a previous edit (which has been modified since then), it was stated that "Wildheart" was supposed to represent the element of wood. This was removed completely, so it's now debatable on what element "Wildheart" is supposed to represent. Hey, thanks for the heads up. I didn't do it because I feared I could create duplicates of some sort. Not that I don't trust in the patrolling skills of you lot! Also, I'd like to type about something I came across recently. As I was checking galleries, I noticed there was one (sadly, I can't recall which one) in which no images were shown for a certain set, but, checking the gallery of the set in question, the image(s) were there. Regarding posting Yugioh arc-V previews

Mate, few weeks ago you sent me a message saying that I cannot post any Yugioh previews on the Yugioh arc v pages. So I stopped. I checked today and someone else is posting the previews. AND NOBODY IS COMMENTING THEM. I mean, what is this biased situation, mate? Plus the video I have posted from other channels are not deleted or caught by copyrights. I double checked all of them. I want to know why you are not letting me post any previews anymore and have someone else post them freely on the Yugioh series preview.

You're welcome. It's disappointing indeed. Perhaps it's a "greener grass" case when I compare it to other languages/countries, but I feel that the "Spanish YGO! scene" (so to speak) barely cares for one reason or another. It appears that almost no one will scan cards they own. eBay sellers and the like seem to have enough with uploading blurrish images which barely allow to tell one card for another. Many people in American Spanish-speaking countries won't even buy them because they somehow consider them as subpar (which leads to some terrible stuff, but that's a different issue).

To make things better, official sources are not as helpful as they should be. The card section of the Spanish version of the Card Database website hasn't been updated since 2013 (to the point that it does allow you to look for Pendulum Monsters when none are listed), and many cards have typos in names and lores. Also, the Spanish version of the YGO! webpage is half-baked at the very least, and the links constantly switch between the Spain and American Spanish-speaking countries' versions. For example, the translated article about The Secret Forces didn't include the blurb about the new archetypes, thus making the "these three monster groups" line seem as if coming from out of nowhere. And don't get me started with videogame translations. As the card number increased in newer games (GBA-onwards), one could swear they simply used Google Translate and copypasted the results without caring if they made any sense. For example, "Blue-Winged Crown" somehow became "Crown add wings by colour blue". --AzureKesil (talk • contribs) 01:40, January 24, 2015 (UTC)

Original card list

I couldn't help but notice deleted my "Original Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Card List" page stating "lists exist on each sets' page". Clearly you didn't read my reasons for wanting to make this page so ill send them to you directly.

I would argue that it is necessary. I have been looking for a page that has every first generation monsters for days now and there is not one. I have also come across post of other people asking for the same thing. To have to go to ever booster pack and open up 14 windows is much more time consuming and my RAM cant handle all that, and I'm sure most other computers cant either. If this page had already existed when I first search for it, it would have saved me hours of searching. I had to join a forum and ask how to find every card from the original series and after days of searching finally found out how. If this page is really unnecessary then why would I waste my time making it? Delete it if you must but I think you making a mistake and aren't thinking of others who would really find this page useful. Furthermore why doesn't this page exist already? I was seriously dumbfounded that no one had made this page yet. Please reconsider deleting this page.

Also its a work in progress. I would like to have the atk, def, effects, card, type, attribute and stars of each card. As well as be able to change them at will to list them in order of any one of the categories. Sorry about that, all except one of those images were already there when I uploaded them. There would be no place in their character page I could think of for their locations though as I mostly do card gallery pages or anything an anime image would be in for card and hologram. RE: Game appearances + some updates

SALUTATIONS AGAIN, GOLDEN KEY!! How is the New Year going for ya so far? Hope all is well!!  :}

Unfortunately, while I began to see my sights on filling in video game appearance info 2 days ago, I can see why removing such specs may be in the cards later on (no pun intended!) I guess it's simply too arduous to note every single in-game character who has used said cards in each game (i.e. I can imagine @ this point the legions of said characters who use MST!) Though I did not intend to grace every single card--if you noticed, I took bias over the newer cards (or those who don't have appearances in games yet) in reference to the new Tag Force Special game because I've been binge-watching LPs of them as of late (despite its MANY shortcomings for a TF game.) and aweing @ all the new Deck types the YGO characters of old AND new are using.

You know what? If the admins aren't ready to re-kindle whether VG appearances should stay, go or be consolidated in another way anytime A.S.A.P, I would in-part like to be part of this debate, if that's okay with you. That being said, if and when y'all do regress to this issue, could you please let me know? I would like to try to cater some input into this footing.

Actually, speaking of video games, my Wikia crosshairs have been aiming there as of late what I feel is a gaping hole that needs to be filled--SOUNDTRACKS!! Now, I felt I've been doing really good with this (YouTube can never let the public down!) However, if applicable, I would love to see if we can "recruit" some Wikia users to pitch in here (namely, the TF games have GINORMOUS instrumental compositions!) Then, for those whom would like to help, I can tell them how I've found out how to upload audio onto here!

Lastly for now, I again just wanted to re-voice that if I seemed like a meddling gremlin @ times here, my apologies. Yes, sometimes I felt I went rebel, thinking that either what I was doing was right, keeping order with some of the files put on here or .jpging it, knowing .pngs will come soon. But I've been doing my best TO do my best here (especially now that I think practically all blank .jpg spots are gone and all that's let to do is swap the remaining .jpgs currently on here.) I've had a LOT of rollercoaster moments during the past two years in my personal life (especially during my college years) and on a few occasions, coming here has given me solace. And in doing such, I am grateful for the (mostly) professional respect I've had to and from the users here.

However, some of the other admins are having different opinions on the matter, so I'll get back to you on the subject.
You can make a request on the forum if you wish for assistance with soundtrack uploads. Though, at one point you were asked not to upload entire tracks...
You've been a great help with image uploads, though there are still many pages using .jpg for images we lack. I have not seen you upload a jpg in a while, and I appreciate that. Your said hiatus doesn't surprise me, especially since there's other uber-important matters to do on YGO Wikia, (like, keeping up with ALL the new $#!T!!) And again, this may be an admin issue but if possible, I'd love 2 extrude my two cents as to how we can account for VG card appearances differently, if possible.
Not gonna deceive here--I think the 30-second limit on uploading audio in terms of seeing towards fair use stinks! Makes me feel uneased as to WHICH 30 seconds of said piece do I think should be part of the file. But thank the Almighty I don't always have this debacle, as for audio bits like this one and this one too, being much less than 30 seconds sees no point as to abridging them, as they might as well be considered soundbytes!? Speaking of which, I've had an easier time with VG pieces as this [user] has managed to upload clear looped versions of some VG tracks. I have an audio dubber, of which I can simply "snip" these tracks; I do such after one full playthrough of the song. Thus unlike say, Sound Duel themes, these VG themes are often much shorter than most of them and with me abridging them with the software I use, I hope that makes them short enough to be put on here?
Onwards and upwards from the above, I do NOT mean to be biased or discriminatory here but non-English International uploads of card images are not my thing here. I simply think it's unnecessary stress trying to find cards that are simply of a foreign languages. However, it's cool that some Wikia users are showing them some love by seeking and uploading them here. Is really nice!
I also don;t think I ever told you this but to tell you the truth, I got the hint of .pngs being preferred the first time. However there were a lot of then inconsistencies I didn't have time to fix then due 2 being in college. Like how half the galleries then were still doing them. Also, I didn't see the point in uploading any images that weren't .pngs to start with. If it was just because .pngs were better quality and not just Wikia policy, perfect BUT as most of the images I got were .jpgs downloaded from different sources (default file type for such images on my PC,) I then saw (and still know) that converting them can be nonsensical and a big squandering--as doing such just makes the file bigger without making the image "sharper" or better @ all. On the contrary, actual scans of cards can be saved as .pngs right away without the concern of the immediate "lossy" bits in default .jpgs.
Lastly for now, I said something like this before 2 ya but 2 better accentuate my clarity with this here, I know users like you may believe otherwise but contrary to all the UEs I've compromised and uploaded, I do NOT see doing such as a priority on here at all. I just go nuts with this whenever my mind is blank as to what more pressing matters I could tend to (i.e. ousting effect-based Trivia, adding notable Trivia, occasional new tips for cards, the said YGO soundtracks, and most importantly, keeping up with every instance of updates and new YGO media.) I know UEs are an example of YGO media that exists but my true enjoyment on here is in-part, finding diamonds in the rough (like I can't flippin' believe that I remembered THIS suddenly one day!) Nevertheless, I'm glad 2 be one of many "fragments" of this Wikia doing my best 2 make it greater than great and I hope you are too!  :))--I IS AN ESTABLISHER OF (RE)MARKS OF EXCELLENCE!! Actually, that's something I have wondered for a long time-to the point that they have earned a special part on the "missing cards" list I am working on! (If you are ever interested in having it when it's done, just let me know.) While I have found LC04-SP cards, I can't remember having been successful at tracking down LCJW-SP ones at all, even if the Spanish version of the Card Database claims they were released. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Golden_Key?action=edit&section=52#

Honestly, I feel it'd be quite absurd if they weren't. For example, yesterday I found a Spanish print of the AP05 "Skelgon", which obviously lists "The Snake Hair". Since the latter is one of those LCJW cards, it'd render "Skelgon" as unplayable (should someone ever wanted to use Spanish prints of two of them, I mean).

He does say "Thunder monsters" in the English manga, but shouldn't we ultimately go with the Japanese version? Re: Uploads

I was mainly uploading the Korean versions of Evilswarm Heliotrope and Qliphort Monolith as a confirmation of how the wordplay in their flavor text worked, so at the time, I literally just copy+pasted the Korean name into Google Images and directly uploaded the first clear one I found (hence the jpg extension). As for add full licensing to anime images, well initially i did that for some, but then i noticed many people who are also uploading anime images with only that tag. So i thought that doing it like that would be easy and would be sufficient. Also it becomes a bit easy for me since i use the "Special:MultipleUpload".

The place sure has a lot of admins, made me difficult to choose who to contact.. Anyways, hello. I am Choko, a user from another wiki who ventured its way here, seeking for help. So a fellow user installed the {{Ruby}} template to our wiki (kikoshojowakizutsukanai) which I immediately liked; however, I found out that the template isn't catered by Firefox. So as I was trying to make the template work, I saw that she included a link to this wiki on to the template, and I saw that you guys have the Ruby template supported in Firefox. We want to do that as well, so may I know how you guys did it? Or at least give me steps on how I should do it? I've been struggling since last night to make it work but to no avail. Just wanted to verify something, I updated Astral Pack Seven's american release date to June 05, 2015 (it is according to deviramericas.com), but when I look at its cards table sets, the release date doesnt appear at all. I updated the date at both the pack page and the 2015 page. What am I missing here? Also on the same note, Would you please tell me how to make some japanese packs' dates (for example Duelist Legacy Volume.5) appear on the card table sets? Hi , I 'm a big fan of the wiki and ADM of Portuguese wiki. I recently had an idea, which was create a wikia and / or pages on social networks , where all yugioh communities in all countries and languages, with all variants (per example the wiki decks and the wiki yugioh questions) for wikis can communicate more easily with each other , for projects together , to help each other .... etc .

This project would have the name given in the title and would only serve to communicate , not as an encyclopedia of yugioh

5DS2 Unlimited galleries

Hello there, Golden Key! I see you deleted the Unlimited edition EN galleries of the aforementioned deck. But I searched a bit and lots of stores were selling Unlimited Editions of those cards. What should I do?
Also, the German UE gallery is created and it has a picture posted by you. So should all of the other Unlimited Edition galleries be created? I could only find stores selling Unlimited Editions of the English versions, though. Becasita Pendulum (talk • contribs) 23:01, March 27, 2016 (UTC)

No. Unfortunately I seem unable to find any images. But there are several stores (ebay, ideal808, The Blackstone Owl, ARG) listing them to sell. Even the YGOrg's store lists them. Another possibility is that the stores made their pages for UE versions based on when we had empty galleries for them. It would have become circular after that: we assume the cards exist because the stores have them as listed but out of stock; the stores assume they exist because we have them listed but without images. Deck galleries

Me again. I think I might have done something a bit incorrect. I created the non-English 1E and UE galleries for SDBE. I found evidence the Italian Unlimited Edition was released. So I put the other non-English releases in the same boat, since they usually are in the same boat (when it comes to release dates, for instance). But after a quick search, I couldn't find any pics of the other non-English TCG languages. However, if you check the box pics, they do not note they are 1st Edition, unlike the English one. But, again after a quick search, I couldn't find pics that would note it. So, what should be done? Should I had only created the UE galleries for the Italian release? As a rule I'd say not to make a gallery until at least one card image confirming an edition's existence is obtained. There's never a guarantee that because one language printed an Unlimited Edition that all the others did as well. --Golden Key (talk • contribs) 15:32, April 4, 2016 (UTC)

Sorry, I know I'm an insistent (annoying) person. But just to tell you that after searching through a lot of stores and watching several unboxings/openings, the only evidence I found for the FR, DE, PT and SP UE releases are the images we have for the deck cover. As I said above, those do not note "1st Edition" on them. While the actual first edition boxes for those regions do. But I guess those pics are like Proxies, right? I believe it was here. The DL Portuguese printings are actually somewhat strange; have a look at Spanish cards here. It seems as though the Spanish printers were in charge of producing the Portuguese cards as well, but due to quality control failures, some were released with a Spanish set number and Portuguese name, and some got a Portuguese set number and Spanish name, etc. We kind of just went with whatever the set number was to decide which gallery they went into. --Golden Key (talk • contribs) 22:59, April 6, 2016 (UTC)

The Golden Apples Portuguese name

I see in the card it's spelled "Maças" but "Maçãs" is the correct spelling. In the case this is a typo, how should it be handled on the {{CardTable2}}? To upload pics

Hey, Golden Key. This time I'm bringing you something different. Since you upload lots of pics, I want to share this with you, I think it might help:

Just copy that to the file description, instead of the {{OCG-TCG card image}}. It will get the parameters filled automatically. You just have to provide the card name via the name parameter. post and alt are for special cases. You can check more info at this page. I don't want to make this very long.

Magic vs. Spell

Hey Golden Key. I have some scans of cards from the European Unlimited Edition of Starter Deck: Yugi. In fact, I have the whole deck, just need time to scan it. But I have them as "Spell Cards" while the ones already uploaded at the gallery are as "Magic Cards".
How should I handle this? It doesn't matter if some say "Spell" whereas others say "Magic"? Or should the gallery go with one terminology exclusively and the others be posted at the individual card galleries only? Or even, I don't know, should the gallery be expanded to include both terminologies? Becasita Pendulum (talk • contribs) 18:17, May 8, 2016 (UTC)

In such cases we've not been making set galleries, we just add them to the cards' galleries with the note of -Spell in the file names. However, it has been repeatedly been brought up that it gets confusing when we have -Spell attached to Traps/Monsters that mention "Spell" instead of "Magic", etc. A better way to go about it would probably be to add -Reprint to the file names, as has been done with certain Japanese cards. That's something that needs to be discussed with other admins, but they'd probably be on board. --Golden Key (talk • contribs) 16:10, May 9, 2016 (UTC)
Alright. I'll add an alt parameter to them with "Reprint". I think it might be the best solution too, if I may say so. If you guys end up finding a better solution, please alert me.
