Welcome[edit]

Hi and welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! wiki! Thank you for your edit to the Gravi-Crush Dragon page.

If you need help, you can consult these pages:

If you would like to make a suggestion or ask for assistance, feel free start a topic at the forums or contact an administrator.

Image formats[edit]

Just to let you know, we prefer .png images here, not .jpg . Eventually in the future, your .jpgs will be replaced with .png versions, so save your images in .png format if you want them to remain your own edits. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 01:08, November 10, 2014 (UTC)

You are also adding licencing improperly. Please add this table into the Summary box when you upload, changing the relevant information. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 02:23, November 10, 2014 (UTC)

OCG-TCG card image[edit]

Just letting you know that if you just put OCG-TCG card image on a page, with nothing else in it, it'll look very ugly. You only need to use it once per file/image, and when you do, it'll need the proper parameters (like you've already been doing). --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 10:59, November 14, 2014 (UTC)

Ok, just don't select "OCG/TCG card" option in licensing when uploading pics; don't pick anything at all. Just insert OCG-TCG card image manually like you've been doing already. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 15:21, November 14, 2014 (UTC)

Images[edit]

Just wanted to thank you for all of your work uploading images we don't have. I also appreciate you fixing galleries that still have the links as jpgs instead of pngs. Take care! --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 01:02, November 18, 2014 (UTC)

Card Table Sets[edit]

Hey SSCooler, I want to thank you for some of your work on the Set Tables, I've been trying to fix a lot of them, and fix some set redirects, I like your work keep it up, Also I noticed in some of your Spell Ruler edits, you change Spell to Magic, don't it's Spell Ruler, if you put Magic Ruler it sends you to a page asking which one you meant. Keep up the good work, and if you want to know where you can do the most, any card in Structure Deck and Duelist Pack. Thanks again --LeafGreen Ranger (talkcontribs) 02:29, November 20, 2014 (UTC)

No problem, also In BP03, make sure that the rarity is Shatterfoil Rare, Talk with you later--LeafGreen Ranger (talkcontribs) 20:30, November 20, 2014 (UTC)

Redirects[edit]

SS, when you make set number redirects, you need to add the category to the page. You've made several without it. I really don't want to go through each one to fix them, but it needs to be added. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 18:39, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

To respond on your own page, just click "Edit" by the section you are responding to. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 18:48, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

OK, thanks :) And I just went through all my redirects (which were only BP03 cards) and fixed the only 2 that werent already been fixed by othersSSCooler (talkcontribs) 18:58, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

Starter Deck: Yugi/Kaiba Evolution[edit]

The English products are worldwide English products. You'll see that the foreign products actually have 2-letter region codes, as opposed to the old single-letter digit codes (that usually go hand-in-hand with the non-existent area code for North American products, which this English product has). Since there is no European version (with a single E in the Set ID), this means the English product qualifies as worldwide English. even though the area code is blank. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 22:54, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

Oh OK, I was really confused since many cards from SKE were sometimes in the NA region and sometimes in the EN region So just so I finally get it, SKE and other product like Ancient Sanctuary, Magician's Force, and the 2002 and 2003 Booster Pack Tins, are all considered worldwide english?SSCooler (talkcontribs) 23:02, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

AST, yes. Not sure about MFC; I think it's North American because no other TCG countries received it. The others, no clue. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 23:05, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

OK, thanks, I'll return SKE to worldwide thenSSCooler (talkcontribs) 23:24, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

RE:The Duelist Genesis Japanese cards list[edit]

We no longer follow that format for various reasons. The card numbers? No one actually cares about seeing them in a card list, with the exception of people who wish to catalog cards for their own reasons (which is only a select few people). Even then, some can become nervous that they're inaccurate and double-check the card pages for the numbers. The flags? Some disputes arose around what technically qualifies as "Chinese" territory, and so we removed the flags for that and decided to remove them entirely. You'll see this "new" format present in the newer set pages.
If you're interested in learning how to convert formats, see here. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 02:53, November 27, 2014 (UTC)

OK, so shall I not even put the top red block which has "The Duelist Genesis, (CCG - Japanese)"? I can't possibly see anything wrong with that :SSSCooler (talkcontribs) 14:48, November 27, 2014 (UTC)

Ask User:Dinoguy1000 for clarification on that. I forget the reasoning, but yeah, you might feel uncomfortable with that since it's a familiar fixture (it's still a must to remove it). --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 17:13, November 27, 2014 (UTC)

Alright then, no problemSSCooler (talkcontribs) 17:16, November 27, 2014 (UTC)

Licensing[edit]

Please remember to exclude the edition field when uploading Japanese images. Thanks! --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 17:54, January 3, 2015 (UTC) Oh, sure, no problem :) SSCooler (talkcontribs) 17:56, January 3, 2015 (UTC)

Set number redirects[edit]

Please don't create the pages using Visual Editor. When you do so, it automatically adds "STATICREDIRECT" to the page, which impedes a certain feature that we plan on implementing on this Wiki. There are multiple ways you can go about avoiding adding it.

 1. You can click on the button to the left of "Cancel" (that shows a paragraph symbol) and select "Source Editor", then create the page that way.
 2. OR, You can go back and edit the page you just created, removing "STATICREDIRECT".
 3. OR, You can go up to Preferences (to the right of the Wiki search bar at the top of any page, by hovering over your avatar symbol), go to that page and click on the "Editing" tab, go to the "Preferred Editor" drop-down box, then select Source Editor. This is a permanent solution, the one I recommend.

--UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 14:13, April 7, 2015 (UTC)

Sure no problem :) SSCooler (talkcontribs) 14:17, April 7, 2015 (UTC)

Hi-Five the Sky's name.[edit]

As I pointed out when I added that particular name for this card, you can see the name, written as I have no done, on the actual TCG card, therefore, that is its actual TCG name. PhotonLegion95 (talkcontribs) 17:20, April 10, 2015 (UTC) So how should I redirect it to its page?SSCooler (talkcontribs) 17:29, April 10, 2015 (UTC)

Page moves[edit]

Do not move pages by copying their contents to a new title and redirecting the original to the new page. In order to comply with the Creative Commons license that all pages on the wiki are licensed under, page histories must be preserved, and moving pages in this way does not preserve the history. Currently, renaming pages properly is restricted to movers, and non-movers should instead use Rename to tag pages that need renamed.

In the particular case of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's volume 8 promotional card, the title with a lowercase "volume" is the correct one: the rest of the volume promo pages need renamed at some point, not just this one. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 01:00, April 20, 2015 (UTC)

OK What about the actual manga pages then? (like http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Yu-Gi-Oh!_5D%27s_-_Volume_008) Should it be Volume or volume? —This unsigned comment was made by SSCooler (talkcontribs) 12:22, April 21, 2015
Those should use "volume" as well. Only words that are a proper noun or part of a proper noun get capitalized, and "volume" isn't one in any of these cases. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 19:31, April 21, 2015 (UTC)

Oh OK, thanksSSCooler (talkcontribs) 01:33, April 22, 2015 (UTC)

Card Numbers[edit]

Wait for confirmation via a better image. The images as is cannot be read.--MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 16:16, April 21, 2015 (UTC) What set are you talking about? Also I wasn't the one who posted the number at the first place, I just redireced all the red links I sawSSCooler (talkcontribs) 01:32, April 22, 2015 (UTC)

He's talking about the cards from Collectors Pack: Duelist of Destiny Version. Their images have the card numbers blurred out. ChaosGallade (talkcontribs) 02:22, April 22, 2015 (UTC)

Oh I see nowSSCooler (talkcontribs) 06:33, April 22, 2015 (UTC)

Re:Astral Pack Seven[edit]

The past few days, SMW has been buggy. My assumption is that since the date for Astral Pack Seven was made during this time-frame, it's caused it to not show at all on pages. That issue should be resolved relatively soon.

As for getting Japanese set dates to work properly, you'll notice that the ones that don't are still using the old set format. The relevant info won't show until the pages have been revised. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 20:17, May 17, 2015 (UTC) Oh, OK I see. Thanks very much! :)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 20:24, May 17, 2015 (UTC)

header sets[edit]

there are various things in the headers that need to be rearranged (which I really fixed now). Here are the following cards set that need this fixing:

Starter Deck: Yugi Evolution Starter Deck: Kaiba Evolution The two above are worldwide English releases not North American releases and they were released before Dark Beginning 1

Dark Beginning 1

From Master Collection Volume 1 (which was released after Dark Beginning 1):

 • Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon
 • Metal Raiders
 • Spell Ruler
 • Pharaoh's Servant
 • Legacy of Darkness

Dark Beginning 2 (released after the the sets released in Master Collection Volume 1

Retro Pack 2 was released in worldwide English, not European release (with the exception of "Gorz the Emissary of Darkness") Make note of these and look through the galleries to see which cards are from which sets. Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 03:24, May 26, 2015 (UTC)

I will do what I can, Thanks! :) SSCooler (talkcontribs) 04:31, May 26, 2015 (UTC)

LOB cards missing hyphens[edit]

Stop adding rename notices to them. There are endless cards that need hyphens on this Wiki, and the rename notice isn't going to get them renamed any faster. Your time is best spent doing other things. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 15:54, June 1, 2015 (UTC) why wont you just let me change the names myself then..SSCooler (talkcontribs) 15:56, June 1, 2015 (UTC)

Sure no problem!! :D Glad to see people still care about what I do here :) hmm in most cases youd be right, but in this one the seperated decks were released only in NA, and the combined package was released only in europe, this is why we still need to seperate it it's like how we do it with the shonen jump magazine cards for exSSCooler (talkcontribs) 22:22, August 9, 2015 (UTC)

Candidates for renaming[edit]

Please stop making edits like this if a card image has the proper licensing. The rename notice will be generated automatically, so there is no need for you to make the notice display a second time. It just creates something new to remove. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 14:05, October 4, 2015 (UTC)

UE Galleries[edit]

Hi, SSCooler--how are you? I hope your holidays were great.  :))

Listen, as a near-daily visitor of this site, I've noticed your bountiful contributions to the card galleries (particularly the UE ones) and the fact that you've been going all out on them is awesome! That being said, if you like, I've come across some UE images from older sets (via Ebay) that aren't on this Wikia yet that you can upload too. I've observed that most of the UE images you've gotten were from TrollandToad (which by the way, is my #1 go-to site for buying card singles for this very reason) and I love how they sell virtually 99.9% of every English YGO card in both editions (if applicable.)

Here's some of the links I stumbled across:

If you have any questions/comments, please lemme know. Otherwise, I think you're kicking a whole lotta butt with your Wikia contributions and I hope you has a Happy New Year!  :DD --Cloud79er (talkcontribs) 14:50, December 28, 2015 (UTC)

OMG Thank you so much!!! :'D Yeah I've been doing this for a long time, but it's been a while since someone noticed ;) So thanks! :) I also buy cards only from T&T, but there have been to many mess ups lately... In my 1st order I even got a fake card, and when I thought telling them about it, it was already too late.. In my last few orders they forgot at least 1 card from each order.. which was so annoying Also not 100% of the cards are really they call NM are really NM And also one time I bought from them an unlimited card, waited forever for the 1e to arrive, it did, I ordered it, and got the unlimited ><" They didn't have a problem giving me all after telling them about the problems (didnt even ask me to return that UE card, so now I have 2 UE and 1 1E of it lol), but.. you know.. it kindda made me lose all the fun from buying cards from them?.. so just beware of all of that before you do your next purchase lol

Well, regarding the new UEs, Thank you! I really have some trouble sometime fiding out old UE card on ebay.. there are cards like Cyber Twin Dragon that only recently I found out have no UE pic here S: I was like whattt lol many GX era packs miss UE UtRs At least I almost completed the 5D's UEs, only a few commons left

Anyways lol sorry for bragging on and on XDD Happy new year to you too mate! :D And feel free to come to me with questions regarding this site, I might be able to help :)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 16:30, December 28, 2015 (UTC)

Galleries[edit]

Hey. Something's wrong with the OCG Gallery headers here and here. I used the same method as for the Umbral Horror galleries, and they seem to work. So I can't understand why those are messed up. Pendulum (talkcontribs) 15:54, January 1, 2016 (UTC)

It's okay, it's not your fault ;) This glitch has been here for more than a year now :XSSCooler (talkcontribs) 16:09, January 1, 2016 (UTC)

Ah ok. Well, I'll keep doing my stuff and ignore that glitch then. I have no idea why it happens nor how to solve it, unfortunately.
Thanks for the clarification! Pendulum (talkcontribs) 16:41, January 1, 2016 (UTC)

No problem :)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 16:46, January 1, 2016 (UTC)

Me again. Could you please give me a hand here? Some of the pics from Europe sets are in .jpg. But the wiki prefers .png, right? I used.png on the code, but please check if it's alright this way, I don't want to mess this up. Thanks in advance. Pendulum (talkcontribs) 23:03, January 1, 2016 (UTC)

And the same happens here. I better stop editing those that use older files. Pendulum (talkcontribs) 23:33, January 1, 2016 (UTC)

Oh it's pretty simple, if the picture is already jpg so feel free to use that file for all the pages (you can save it to your computer, save it again as a png, then reupload to get the credit yourself if you want to XD) But if there is no picture (both on the card gallery and the set gallery) then the ender on both should be changed to png (not to tell you to change all of those at the set galleries lol that'd take forever, but if you put empty links on the card galleries, then you should put png links) Also with older sets, there are some picture links that miss hyphens, so if you are to put a non existing one in a card gallery, you should fix it first Hope I helped :)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 02:06, January 2, 2016 (UTC)

Yep, got it. I'll see what I can do. Thank you! Pendulum (talkcontribs) 11:20, January 2, 2016 (UTC)

Sorry for being making you so many questions, man. I have one more:
Some galleries index the rarities as, for instance: C (code: C).
While others index it as: C (code: C).
Which one is preferable? Or it doesn't matter since both go to the same page? Pendulum (talkcontribs) 15:08, January 2, 2016 (UTC)

haha no problem feel free to ask anything :) It should be only the capital letter/s (C, R, SR etc), since this is how it is on almost every gallery (and it seems most people here (like me lol) like to keep things the same)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 17:03, January 2, 2016 (UTC)

Alrighty, then. Whenever I find C I will change to C.
Thanks for your help! Pendulum (talkcontribs) 17:16, January 2, 2016 (UTC)

This is what I do to lol And no problem :)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 17:17, January 2, 2016 (UTC)

Less specific set names on Card Galleries[edit]

Why did you change the set names back to the less specific ones on the "Malefic Stardust Dragon" card gallery? --SnorlaxMonster 17:48, January 3, 2016 (UTC)

Because this gallery page doesnt exist, and the other one does. doesnt it work like this?SSCooler (talkcontribs) 18:18, January 3, 2016 (UTC)

I don't see why whether or not the gallery on the set page has been created yet matters. It matches the name on the main card page. --SnorlaxMonster 19:01, January 3, 2016 (UTC)

Millennium Pack and invisible characters[edit]

At least some (probably all, but I haven't checked) of your additions of Millennium Pack setcodes to pages (e.g. this edit) added the invisible character U+202C: POP DIRECTIONAL FORMATTING. Any idea how this could have happened? Did you copy the set codes from another site? --SnorlaxMonster 15:11, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

hmm no I only copy from other pages on this wiki (sometimes I copy from here to a notepad and then copy it back here)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 15:16, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

MP14 Unlimited[edit]

Hey there. Another question: Does MP14 have an unlimited edition? Because on its product page, it's not listed, so I haven't been adding the galleries for MP14 Unlimited. However, some pages (like Armades') have an MP14 unlimited gallery added. What should I do? Pendulum (talkcontribs) 17:48, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

Hi there :) Unfortunately MP14 and MP15 (also LCJW and LC5D, if we're talking mega packs) don't have unlimited releases, so you should delete those unlimited sectionsSSCooler (talkcontribs) 18:51, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

Ah, thought so. Thanks. Pendulum (talkcontribs) 20:30, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

N/A in card galleries[edit]

I can't see any reason to note Series 1 prints as having a card number of "N/A" in card galleries. Can you explain your reasoning for adding it? ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 19:09, February 13, 2016 (UTC)

Well some galleries had it and some galleries didnt, so I just thought it'd be better to put it in all of them so their source code would more like those that have a set numberSSCooler (talkcontribs) 15:49, February 14, 2016 (UTC)
Aah. I think it'd be better to remove it; it doesn't actually add any information and thus provides no benefit for readers. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 00:01, February 15, 2016 (UTC)

No problem :)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 10:54, February 15, 2016 (UTC)

Proxies editions[edit]

Hey! Thanks for being adding the | edition = parameter to the Proxies and their editions on the galleries! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 15:42, March 26, 2016 (UTC) Haha no problem mate! :D Thank you for starting it! :)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 16:24, March 26, 2016 (UTC)

Nothing to thank for, man. Dino was the one giving the order to tag them like that. And you were the one to put the edition of the Proxy under its gallery, I guess, so props to you! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 17:50, March 26, 2016 (UTC)

lol thank you ^__^!SSCooler (talkcontribs) 17:56, March 26, 2016 (UTC)

Structure Deck: Lord of the Magician Limited Edition[edit]

Oopsie. You're right! Overlooked that. Feel free to undo the next parameter here. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 10:18, March 31, 2016 (UTC)

Haha it's okay mate :)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 10:26, March 31, 2016 (UTC)

Korean Decks editions[edit]

Hello again! It seems this type of Korean products (non core boosters (at least)) only have one edition (there are some exceptions, though). In more recent Decks, like SD29, if the two links are present on the article page, but one is red, don't add that edition to the card gallery, because it's not proved to exist (supposedly). I'm checking for evidences and erasing the ones that should be erased, so some might be misleading. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 15:23, April 1, 2016 (UTC)

Oh yeah I never know what to to with these korean sets :S Especially with Extra Packs and Premium Packs.. Many times there is a gallery but with not even one card :X Okay then :)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 10:18, April 2, 2016 (UTC)

Pic upload[edit]

Hey there, SSCooler! Since you upload lots of card pics, I'm going to give you a little thing I'm working on. Maybe you could test it out and give me some feedback.
Whenever you want to upload a pic, instead of using the OCG-TCG card image template, use this:

Just copy what's in that box and paste it into the file description. You just need to replace <Card name> with the name of the card you're uploading. Some recommendations:

 • Use this only when uploading a real card pic. That means, do not use that with Proxies (OP), Giant Cards (GC) and Case Toppers (CT). I think I'm not forgetting anything;
 • Do not use this with cards that require the alt parameter.

I'll try to improve it and also make it able to deal with those type of pics when I have the time.
Please double-check, once in a while, if everything was alright (it should be) after the image has been uploaded.
If you have questions, feel free to ask! Hope it works and spares you some time. Have fun!

A small post scriptum:

 • To all other people reading this: feel free to use it too, but follow the guidelines;
 • To Admins reading this: if you don't like this (because it might be a bit heavy (for now, at least), or something), please alert me immediately. Thanks.

Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 17:49, April 9, 2016 (UTC)

Hey :) Okay mate I will try it ;)SSCooler (talkcontribs) 18:11, April 9, 2016 (UTC)

Hey umm I tried it, and it didn't get the set :X so all that's after went wrongSSCooler (talkcontribs) 20:39, April 9, 2016 (UTC)

Ah, I actually forgot to mention; You can only use that on correctly named pics (check Yugipedia:Image Policy). That being said, applying it onto stuff like this won't work, because that lack of a dash (-) makes it unable to understand where the set name is. Also, don't forget to remove the < >.
An example for a card like this one would be:

Keep giving me feedback, please. I'll keep updating it when I have the time. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 21:01, April 9, 2016 (UTC)

I'll keep you updated! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 16:23, April 12, 2016 (UTC)

Pic upload (update)[edit]

Hey, SSCooler! I have an updated version of that little tech:

You just have to fill the name parameter with the card name. It works for every type of card. It only works, though, on images named accordingly with the Yugipedia:Image policy.
If you think it's a more convenient way for you to upload pics or add the OCG-TCG card image template to them, feel free to use it.
You can check more info on it (like what the other parameters do) at this page. If you have any questions, just ask! If something goes wrong, please alert me. Have fun! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 19:09, April 18, 2016 (UTC)

Hey! :D OK mate, thank you :) SSCooler (talkcontribs) 12:54, April 19, 2016 (UTC)

Hi! Sorry to bother you this much, but I think this might be useful for you. I've changed the template so now you can use it on cards incorrectly named:

You just need to fill fix with the set name. You know, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
I hope this makes it easier for you! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 20:47, April 21, 2016 (UTC)

Ok, I've changed it and, besides filling the name parameter, you only need to fill fix with 1 and it will get everything automatically. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 10:59, April 22, 2016 (UTC)

You are not bothering haha :) OK, thanks! SSCooler (talkcontribs) 13:05, April 22, 2016 (UTC)

Fake pics[edit]

Hi SSCooler! Just to alert you that there are some fake card pics roaming the Internet, since you upload lots of pics. I'd like to ask you to please read this conversation.
Just some notes: when I say "Starfoil Mobius" it's supposed to be this file, not the one that is currently there (since the link was updated automatically). Similar goes to "Cyber Jar Rare". It's supposed to be this file. For "Cybernetic Magician", it's supposed to be this one.
Thanks for your attention! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 23:13, May 25, 2016 (UTC)

Hi mate :) Well actually I noticed the exact stars pattern from Troll And Toad pics, probably BP01 or the star packs when I was uploading them, but I was like "well... it's T&T so it's probably legit?.." (even though I once got a fake MRD 1E Summoned Skull from them -.- .....). Anyways, all the SFR and MSR pics I uploaded are from T&T. I always try to go with the more legit companies when I upload pictures, ebay is usually the last source (exept with korean cards, or like unlimited ultimates from the GX era). SSCooler (talkcontribs) 10:31, May 26, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, I understand. It's not only Troll & Toad. There are several stores using those pics with that exact star pattern. And there other two patterns roaming around as well.
Same goes for BP02. There are some cards that have exactly the same mosaic pattern. And I found there is also a standard (fake) Shatterfoil pattern for BP03, but I still haven't found it on the pics we have.
I've been re-uploading BP01 pics from ebay. I carefully check the picture, to make sure it's legit. Sometimes might be tricky.
On a side note, I've noticed you don't indent your text. You can indent it by typing a colon (:) before the text. I don't know if you don't do it because you don't like it, but I feel it makes things more organized. So, pointing it to you nevertheless. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 10:52, May 26, 2016 (UTC)
hmm okay haha thanks, actually the more annoying thing was I didnt know how to skip a line here, but now I realize it's the same as with the site's pages :|
So much for being a computer engineering student! lol
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 12:07, May 26, 2016 (UTC)
Yes. Well, this has some abstraction layers over HTML and CSS, but, in the end, it's that. And you don't need the <br /> when using the colons to break the line. You can read more about formatting at formatting on mediawiki. If you have questions, just ask! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 12:15, May 26, 2016 (UTC)
Oh, okay
I'll check it out, and sure thing! Thanks mate :)
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 13:37, May 26, 2016 (UTC)

Renaming sets[edit]

Hey SSCooler! Please don't tag sets that are as "EN" for a rename (to either "EU" or "NA"). I know which ones they are. But I haven't changed them yet because the discussion on if they should indeed be moved is still pending. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 18:48, June 8, 2016 (UTC)

Hey there :)
Haha okay, I was really wondering why you didn't change them as well lol
Hey btw, do you know why only some of the battle pack pics from T&T are deleted, and some are not? :OSSCooler (talkcontribs) 19:18, June 8, 2016 (UTC)
Yep, I'm still waiting for some answers.
Yes, I know. Deltaneos deleted BP02 mosaics. But I think he only delete the UE ones. Almost all of those were fake and replacements for those are hard to find. The others he left can be easily (kinda) replaced, I guess.
Oh, and one more thing: If you see set card ratios red links, you may remove them entirely (unless the link is wrong and the ratio page exists). If you do, don't forget to remove them at both places (at Main and Set navigation). Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 19:28, June 8, 2016 (UTC)
Oh okay, no problem :)
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 19:37, June 8, 2016 (UTC)

OCG-TCG card image[edit]

Hey SSCooler! The OCG-TCG card image template was improved, so now you just need to use the name parameter. In cases like Greenkappa, where the name of the card only contains one word, you can just use OCG-TCG card image directly. However, it doesn't work for names that have non-alphabetical nor non-numerical http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:SSCooler?action=edit&section=33#characters, like "Attention!". If the card set contains postfixes, you'll still have to use the set parameter, like so. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 19:09, June 29, 2016 (UTC)

Hey there :)
okay, thanks for updating!
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 19:17, June 29, 2016 (UTC)
Hi again, SSCooler. Maybe I didn't express myself the best way, but now you don't need to do this. As it was is enough. You just need to use that bit, nothing more (except for sets that contain a postfix). Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 14:47, July 15, 2016 (UTC)
Hey :)
Oh :O .. hmm okay
But what if, let's say, I see a proxy with no edition, and I wanted it moved to the right file name url (or same thing with a file name that's missing hyphens), shouldnt I use the whole decription?
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 14:56, July 15, 2016 (UTC)

In those cases, you can go with the full description or with parts of it. Like, let's suppose, for instance for DarkHoleDB1-EN-SR-UE.png, inserting:

Would be enough.
For a proxy, let's say, for instance for DarkHole-NKRT-EN-OP.png, inserting:

or just:

Would work. Basically, just insert the parts that need to be changed.
Or you can go the old fashion way and use Rename. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 15:06, July 15, 2016 (UTC)

okay then :)
Thanks! ^^

SSCooler (talkcontribs) 15:10, July 15, 2016 (UTC)Thanks! ^^

Traditional Chinese Cards[edit]

I saw that you're the one that uploaded the Traditional Chinese prints for "Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon". Now I'm curious: Where did you get them? I don't want you to think I'm mad; this is actually a good thing! It might help with improving the card galleries for any Traditional Chinese booster packs' galleries. --Yes, it's PSYCHID! He talks! He does stuff! 02:38, July 13, 2016 (UTC)

Hi there! :)
Haha why would I be mad? ^^
And how awesome is the secret Tachyon Dragon ha??? (other secrets as well, but I'm just in love with Tachyon Dragon)
I'm pretty sure I got them all from goods.ruten.com.tw , but basically found them all with google
It's annoying that not all sellers mention the rarity though :x
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 11:06, July 13, 2016 (UTC)
I think I came across this. It may help with deciphering the official Chinese names, but I don't think it'd help much with the galleries or lores. In case you're wondering why I'm focusing on this now; part of me thinks it would help to add the official names of cards in other regions, y'know? --Yes, it's PSYCHID! He talks! He does stuff! 14:01, July 13, 2016 (UTC)
I'm more into pictures generally, but yeah, everyone should do what they can/want :)
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 14:55, July 13, 2016 (UTC)

Tagging for revision[edit]

Hi SSCooler! How's everything going?
Could you tag images like this one with Watermark (or Poor quality), please? They should be replaced with a cleaner version, and being able to find them easily would be convenient.
With the upgrades to OCG-TCG card image, you can now do it like so. To tag with Poor quality, just use poor (like so). You can still go the traditional way, of course.
You know, any questions you may have, just ask. Thank you! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 22:14, August 8, 2016 (UTC)

Hi mate! :) I'm pretty good haha, finally have some time to watch ARC-V!! (Just saw episode 37) :D A lot of time actually :P What about you? And BTW, what Yugi animes (if any) did you watch/are you watching? :O
I recently started to use the Watermark tag, I just thought it is meant for when like a store name is on the card's picture? here it's that sleeve circle so I thought it's not the same case, but OK
And regarding Poor quality, I'm never sure what is considered OK and what is considered bad.. I guess I'll use it when the image is blurry?
I remember you uploaded PGL3's pics and some of them had those lines you see if you take a picture of an old TV, you know what I mean? and you didn't tag it with Poor quality, so I'm just kinda never sure when it's crossing the line, so I never used it at all ^^"
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 22:46, August 8, 2016 (UTC)
That's good to know! All good, thank you. I watched all series but Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and I'm currently watching the sub for ARC-V.
Yeah, Watermark is usually meant for that. In this case, to me, either it or Poor quality can be used.
Usually use Poor quality on images that are too blurry, yeah, or that have too much glare, or an awful cut, or are too small; something like that.
Sometimes I forgot to use either of the tags, true heh. In case of doubt, just use it, because it'll make it easier to track. If it's fine (or if someone thinks it's fine), the tag should be removed; if not, then tagging it was the right choice.
But we need to be tolerant too, and not go on a rampage tagging every image with a small detail as a poor quality image. For instance, when English images are first uploaded, they don't have very good quality, but we know those first images come from leaks from before the set has been actually released. So better images will definitively appear. Ideally, they should be tagged with Poor quality, but it's not a big deal. On the other hand, card images like File:AdreusKeeperofArmageddon-EXP5-KR-UR-1E.png are not the best quality, but these usually are not tagged, since they are acceptable.
This is not a very exact science, but in case of doubt, it's better to tag, I'd say. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 23:50, August 8, 2016 (UTC)
Haha great! :)
lol I'm the same, watched the original (dubbed), skipped GX, and watched 5D's and ZEXAL both subbed (and now ARC-V subbed as well)
Really hope they'll continue after ARC-V somehow :X The fact we still didn't get Sound Duel 4 yet kinda scares me :/
Ok, I get it now haha :)
So can I just have your opinion on this?
I usually upload korean images from amazon japan, even tohugh the set number is always blurry there for some reasson (File:TyrantRedDragonArchfiend-TDIL-KR-UR-1E.png), and sometimes the card picture isn't full (File:TyrantRedDragonArchfiend-TDIL-KR-UtR-1E.png)
Can I not use the tag on those?
I just upload way too many pictures from them, since they don't have watermarks, and have most korean card pics
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 10:30, August 9, 2016 (UTC)
Yep, same as me, but I also watched ZEXAL dub until 108 or something.
I usually try to avoid images from the Japanese Amazon because of that; the majority of the images have a vertical weird line that crosses the entire card, from the DEF stat to the Attribute. I had replaced some of your (and from other users) images from there, actually. I think I had tagged one or two from there as poor quality, but it's not a big deal, since good Korean images are hard to find. So don't worry too much with those. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 12:44, August 9, 2016 (UTC)
I wanted to jump out of my window when I heard Astral's english voice XD
But I have to admit the english versions have some cool themes (I still like the japanese ones better though, theyre amazing)
Yeah I usually search for korean cards at ebay, if there arent any I go to amazon, and if there arent any I go to the korean store "TCGSHOP" (since they have watermarks)
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 12:57, August 9, 2016 (UTC)
I started watching the dub first, so I didn't have that feeling, fortunately. Sometimes the Japanese soundtrack has some annoying themes, yeah.
For Korean images, I often go to duelfield (they are not very good, though), if I can't find in ebay. Sometimes, you can also find good Korean images at Korean blogs (by searching for the set number). Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 13:13, August 9, 2016 (UTC)
Annoying japanese themes?? masaka... I'm in love with most of the soundtracks
Hmm okay, I'll check out this site, thanks :)

Mover rights[edit]

SSCooler, I've conceded you mover rights. Now you can rename pages and files, I think it might be useful for you, especially to deal with files. Some guidelines:

 • Don't leave a redirect behind except if you are renaming a page on the article namespace (mainly card articles. There are exceptions, of course). If you happen to leave a redirect behind that shouldn't have been left (and you notice it), tag it for deletion, please;
 • You'll have access to the queue. I don't want to extend myself too much, so you can take a look to FileUsageAuto-update if you want to learn more and to the text that appears when you're renaming a page. If you're going to rename multiple images, using the queue will be the way to go, usually.

Any doubt you may have, just contact me, even if you think it may be a dumb question. Have fun! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 15:52, August 11, 2016 (UTC)

Ohhhhh OMG What a boss!!! Thank you!!! ^____^
It's gonna be much more fun from now on! :D :D
You made my day!! ^^
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 16:31, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
It seems you've moved several files, but the instances where they appeared were not updated. How did you manage to do it? Did you have "Include links in all namespaces eg: :File:File.png" checked? Because it should have been checked. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 19:38, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
Hey umm no, it's not checked, should it be?
I put 39 items in the Queue, it told me 2 images failed and it's stuck since then (for 10 minutes now)
What should I do? :X
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 19:40, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
I saw that it moved them all in the end somehow, so I'll just update manually
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 19:48, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
Yes, it should have been checked.
The queue blocks sometimes when using the "Rename and update" option. I would advise you to not enter too many files.
Now, you need to go to your move logs and see the files that were moved. Just go to one of them (it doesn't matter) and go to the drop-down yellow menu; choose "Queue". At the queue, you'll see a button saying "Add manually"; click on it. Then go back to your logs and copy the red name of a file to "Old file name" and copy the correct name (which should appear as blue at your logs) to the "New file name".
Once you've done that for all of them, close that little window and click on "Execute". Be sure you have the "Include links in all namespaces eg: :File:File.png" checked always.
Oh, one note: when entering the name of the files at the "Old file name" and "New file name", do not enter "File:". An example:
 • Old file name -> VindikiteRGenexHA03-FR-ScR-1E.jpg
 • New file name -> VindikiteRGenex-HA03-FR-ScR-1E.jpg
Do not enter "File:", I repeat. Any question? Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 19:53, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
The thing is it ended up moving all the files, so it isn't necessary now, is it? :X
I then looked at all the empty file links, to know which where at a card gallery as well, so now I'll put the corrected names at the card galleries as well (already fixed the set gallery)
And the way I did it was I put the correct image description, then clicked at "rename image", so it automatically gave me the new corrected name
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 20:05, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
Also all 39 items are listed as moved in the log
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 20:06, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
True. But if you do as I'm saying, it won't rename the images; it will just update the links automatically. This way, you don't have to do it manually.
Try it. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 20:20, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
Ohhh sorry, you got me the wrong way
When I said it ended up moving, I meant from broken links to corrected links, it just didn't put the corrected links back in their original places, so I did that manually
But thanks anyway! haha :)
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 20:27, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
Wait, no. You are the one who didn't get the idea (this is comical).
The queue moved the files to the correct names, yes. But it didn't update the links automatically on the pages they were being presented. Therefore, you had to do it manually, correct? But if you had used the "Add manually" option after the queue broke, like I suggested, you wouldn't have had any need to clean the instances manually. Because the "Add manually" option does exactly that.
An example:
If you "rename and updated" File:A to File:B; then the file named A will be changed to B and all the instances of it will be changed to B as well. If you use the "Add manually" option; then the file A will still exist as A, but all the places where it exists will be changed to B (note that it doesn't rename the file to B).
That means you can also use the "Add manually" option to do other stuff. For instance: input the old name as A.jpg and a new name as B.png, it means that all pages that had A.jpg will now have B.png. But the JPG file will not be converted to PNG; it will still exist as JPG, becuase the only thing that changed was the links (the text on pages), not the file itself.
Summing up, "Add manually" doesn't rename files; it only updates the instances where they were being presented on; which was exactly what you wanted to do (because the files were already renamed, but the instances were not updated).
I don't know if I made myself clear. But you should try it. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 22:06, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
Oh okay, now I got you
Your explenation reminds me of my lecturers' from computer engineering haha, that's probably why I understood now XD
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 22:23, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
I'm not sure if that's good or bad, but I hope that's good, heh.
In any case, the queue can get complicated sometimes, so leave me a message if you have any questions. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 22:41, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
Haha I wouldnt have said it if it was bad!
lol as awful as I am at this there's still a side of me that kinda likes it
Okay, thanks! :)
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 23:55, August 11, 2016 (UTC)
Hey SSCooler. If you uploaded a file under the incorrect place (A Korean one under the Spanish file link, for instance), when renaming it, just click on "Rename page", not on "Rename and update". This will move it to the correct place, but won't change the links where the Spanish one was being displayed, keeping everything in place. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 15:58, August 22, 2016 (UTC)
Hey there! :)
Haha yes, I figured it out the hard way ^^"

UE galleries for core sets[edit]

Hi SSCooler. Core sets usually have an Unlimited Edition release. So it's fine to have the entries on the Card Gallery namespace. So please don't remove them, like you did here. Sorry, the way we are handling this is still a bit confusing. But, basically, core sets have UE releases (some exceptions include FET and STBL). Just don't create Set Card Galleries before an evidence appears. But at the individual card galleries it's fine. Besides, it's easier to remove them posteriorly, if they don't exist. Also, would you mind to put back the ones you erased, please? Sorry about this whole issue. Any question, feel free to ask. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 23:10, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

Hi there! :)
Oh really??
OMG I used to get annoyed when people removed the unlimited entries on core sets, and put them back myself, but lately I saw it too much on TDIL, so I thought it was kind of a new procedure on here :X
NP, I'll get it back :) Thanks for clarifying!
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 00:31, August 25, 2016 (UTC)

EN vs. NA/EU[edit]

Hey SSCooler! Remember this topic? Stuff released in Europe only should be in -EU galleries/lists and the images should named with -EU, even if they have -EN in their set code (similar to North American stuff to -NA). So you're free to change stuff like that. If you do, just don't go to YS15 decks, because I intend to organize those in a little different way than they are now. I wouldn't advise you to go to the manga pages too, because those all need to be changed from "Volume" to "volume" and it's something that needs too much time and it may be better to organize a course of action before taking any action there.
If you decide to do this kind of changes, just be careful, they are big actions, so if you're doubtful about anything, it may be better to ask first. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 13:18, September 19, 2016 (UTC)

Hey there! :)
OK then :) I'll change what I wanted to back then
Hmm so should I change The Dark Illusion: Special Edition to EU as well? Or should we wait a bit more for a possible NA release as well?
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 13:38, September 19, 2016 (UTC)
I already changed that one, but it seems I forgot to change "English" to "European English" at the galleries section. You can change it; it's an European exclusive release as of now. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 13:56, September 19, 2016 (UTC)
OK :)
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 13:59, September 19, 2016 (UTC)

Miscellaneous galleries[edit]

Hi SSCooler! How's it going? One thing: Please don't create miscellaneous galleries with only one item, like you did, for instance, with Destiny Soldiers. One image is not enough to justify the creation and, sub-consequently, the use of a miscellaneous gallery; there is no problem to have that one item at the main set page. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 00:56, November 6, 2016 (UTC)

Hi! :D
I'm fine, thanks :) How are you?
Oh okay, I thought every page should have one
What if I put all the pack images from the main page on the gallery as well? Will it justify it then? Because I see you didn't delete the gallery yet
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 13:08, November 6, 2016 (UTC)
Everything goes fine, thank you.
No, not for now. Let's leave the misc galleries with only extra stuff (let's also ignore the Cosmo Blazer one for now). This could change in the future, though. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 19:25, November 6, 2016 (UTC)
Cool :)
Oh okay
Feel free to update me haha ;p

Korean card images[edit]

Hey SSCooler! How's it going?
Regarding the Korean images you upload, they tend to have a weird quality. You should check this site; lately, their images are better (check the RATE ones; they are better than the ones you've been uploading). Though that site may not have all of the images for a set. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 14:58, January 15, 2017 (UTC)

Hey! :D
I'm fine, thanks, how are you? :)
I remember you showed me this site haha, but really like you said they lack a lot of cards / take a lot of time to upload them
But if that's how you'd prefer it then I can check them out second, then amazon (TCGShop always seems to get pictures first so I'm always starting with them)
It's just from what I saw most images there were very blurry so it's like pick your poison anyway lol
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 17:58, January 15, 2017 (UTC)
All good thanks.
Yeah, I remember I once showed it to you. But now, the images they have been uploading are way better. It's true they take a bit more. But if you have the patience, they may have better images. An example: File:BraveEyesPendulumDragon-RATE-KR-UtR-1E.png. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 21:58, January 15, 2017 (UTC)
Wow haha really looks good :O
OK then, I'll check them from time to time for better versions
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 23:07, January 15, 2017 (UTC)

Supreme Wing[edit]

No, absolutely not. "NC" for Spells and Traps are "the effect of the card". Regardless of what monster its being used on, it should remain at the S/T card's name. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 17:19, January 25, 2017 (UTC)

Then why are those images File:WhiteNightDragon-JP-Anime-GX-NC-2.png and File:WhiteNightDragon-JP-Anime-GX-NC-2.png with the monsters' names?
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 17:24, January 25, 2017 (UTC)
Because I've not yet caught all the cases that were misnamed and changed them. I'll get those two now and move Supreme Wing back. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 17:35, January 25, 2017 (UTC)
Oh, okay then
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 17:46, January 25, 2017‎ (UTC)

Repetitive tasks[edit]

Hey SSCooler. When it's about doing repetitive tasks, like adding UE gallery entries for cards that already have the 1E entry, or redirects or anything else; you can just leave me a message and I can try to set my bot to do it, in some cases. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 17:45, February 11, 2017 (UTC)

OMG You mean that bot user that added all the MP16 1E card pics to the galleries is something you created??
Damn haha that's amazing :O
Well there are just way too many things to do here lately and it puts way too much stress on me ^^" So I think I'll only do minor stuff from now on
But from what I recall the Korean EP16 doesn't have redirects, so you want to do that if you'd like
But anyway thanks allot! :)
SSCooler (talkcontribs) 18:32, February 11, 2017 (UTC)
Well, I don't intend to replace the work done here by users with my bot, of course. But if you feel something is exhaustive and repetitive, feel free to poke me.
Oh, true; I'll take care of those.
Nothing to thank for! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 19:10, February 11, 2017 (UTC)

I restored your tip ^^

Editor[edit]

Hey SSCooler! How's it going? Since you're a regular editor here, I'd like to know your opinion about Forum:Proposal to Fork to Yugipedia. Thanks! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 20:02, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

Hi there! :)
Okay so I've read the main topic and your opinion. Personally I would prefer to stay here. I'm way to used to everything around here, and while sure I find the adds and especially the autoplaying videos really anoying, I'd rather take those than moving to a whole new website (and on mobile I always click "view full version", otherwise the site is unusable, so that too isn't that much of an issue for me).
But besides my preferences, I think the biggest issue here is dividing the community to two, and not only that, but also that most users wouldn't even know about this and stay here (unless you can maybe auto send a message to all users?), let alone people who don't even have an account.
Regardless, I'd probably go where you do, but I'll most likely won't edit too much in the new envoronment, as I already don't edit as much as I've used too. But let me know what's the decision!
And happy new years man! :)

Sorry, but that seems a bit narrow-minded. Have you not thought about other people who casually view the wiki, who don't have accounts and don't know the tips and tricks to avoid the ads? --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 21:24, January 1, 2018 (UTC)
Hey, happy new year for you as well!
Well, our motivations are for the community. I too have ways of dealing with what bothers me personally (I use CSS to hide and style stuff I don't like, for instance). But I often receive complaints from members of the YGO community. With this, we're trying to build a better environment for everyone. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 00:42, January 2, 2018 (UTC)
@UltimateKuriboh Did you read the second part of my comment? I said the biggest issue here is these exact guys that don't have accounts, that are going to probably stay here because they won't even know we're moving.
And come on I don't have to be a wikia pro to know that sites with horrible mobile UI have a way to show the full site somehow, let alone knowing that clicking an X exits a video. And I don't see how the adds/fandom stuff ruin the experience. I see those when I'm not logged into to my account, and it's not in the middle of the text, it's in the side of the page. And there are no pop-ups or anything like that.
@Becasita Thanks :)
I see, but I just told you my personal opinion. If you decide to go I'll go too, so don't worry about it

20th Secret Rare images[edit]

You're not uploading them in their full resolution. I assume you got them from here: https://www.ka-nabell.com/?act=sell_detail&id=100130730&genre=1&type=&category=77358&supply=&lang=

In that case, try first opening the image in a new tab so that you'll get the full resolution, and crop it from there: https://www.ka-nabell.com/img/card/card100130730_1.jpg MadRest (talkcontribs) 16:22, 29 October 2018 (UTC)

It's from https://www.ebay.com/usr/midorigame , and there wasn't an option to get a better resolution there

Swedish SJ release date[edit]

This is going back a bit, but do you remember where you found the release date for the Swedish Shonen Jump 2004, Issue 2 promotional card. -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:56, 31 October 2021 (UTC)

Hey :)
No mate sorry, I got no idea, probably just another page of the wiki as I never really use any other source (well besides ygorg, but no way it's from there haha)
