Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL[edit]

Anime[edit]

  • In episode 5, Flip Turner holds this card after seeing Yuma Tsukumo pass by and deduces Yuma must have gotten some questionably good cards if he was able to defeat Shark. To obtain that card for himself, Flip decides to give this card to him and challenge him to a Duel. Later, Flip gives this card to Yuma claiming he was thinking about giving it to him to thank him for defeating Shark and as proof of their "friendship". Yuma nearly takes the card, only to be stopped by Tori Meadows and Bronk Stone, who drag Yuma away from Flip and warn him about accepting cards from Flip since he tends to have hidden motives, which Yuma doesn't believe in. Flip, still holding this card, notes that some obstacles have appeared, but he won't give up and be sure to hand him the card somehow. After many of Flip's attempts to give Yuma the card fail due to Tori and Bronk's interference, Flip realizes Yuma's under total protection and so it's impossible to give him this card directly. Later Flip does manage to give this card to Yuma by mailing it to him through a "fan letter". Yuma recognizes this card as the card Flip has been trying to give him and, after a video of Flip in disguise claiming to use the card since he wrote the letter with all his feelings, gets excited about getting an Xyz Monster.
  • In episode 5, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Flip. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying three copies of "Chewbone Jr." (which Flip Special Summoned to Yuma's side of the field via the effect of "Chewbone"). This lets Flip activate "Ultra C", Special Summoning "Number 39: Utopia" from Yuma's Extra Deck to his side of the field. In the next episode, Yuma contemplates on using "Release Lease" on this card to add a Level 3 Monster from his Deck to his hand (in order to Xyz Summon "Number 34: Terror-Byte"), but Astral tells Yuma to protect this card, so he switches it to Defense Position. Later Flip switches activates the Flip Effect of "Flipangutan" to switch this card to Attack Position. "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon" (whose ATK was 2500 due to its own effect and under Flip's control due to "Traitor Fog"), but Yuma activates "Half Unbreak" to prevent this card from being destroyed in battle this turn and halve all Battle Damage he takes this turn. "Utopia" then attacks this card, but the latter isn't destroyed and the damage Yuma takes is halved. On the last turn of the Duel, Yuma activates this card's effect to target "Stinging Swordsman" and let it attack directly. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over. After the Duel, Yuma tries to give this card back to Flip as it's his card, but he must promise to not use it for underhanded tactics anymore. Though Flip doesn't believe him, Yuma reveals that Flip is great at using Flip Effects so effectively and showcases that he really means well to be a friend, Flip is drawn to tears and emotionally lets Yuma keep the card as a token of their friendship.
  • In episode 9, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Cathy Katherine. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaing "Joe the Pixie", "Acorno" and "Pinecono". After Yuma Normal Summons "Gagaga Magician" and activates its effect to change it to Level 1, he activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit and target "Gagaga Magician" in order let it attack directly. After "Gagaga Magician" attacks directly, this card attacks "Twin Tail Cat Lady". Yuma then activates "Ego Boost" to increase this card's ATK by 1000 and make the ATK of "Twin Tail Cat Lady" become its original value. This card then destroys "Twin Tail Cat Lady", winning Yuma the Duel.
  • In episode 13, this card can be seen on Yuma's desk while he thinks about what Kite Tenjo did to the "Number" holder.
  • In episode 17, this card is shown in a flashback Bronk Stone has when he reminds Flip he had a Number during his Duel against Yuma previously.
  • In episode 18, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Astral has when he realizes the feelings he felt was not just fear, but the precious feelings Yuma gave him.
  • In episode 25, this card appears in a flashback Astral has when he reminds Yuma that Flip taking away the "Numbers" during his Duel against Yuma caused Astral's loss of consciousness and he plotted against Yuma in that Duel.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yuma has when he remembers he Dueled Cathy after he thought she kidnapped Tori Meadows.
  • In episode 26, this card is shown when Yuma is rebuilding his Deck for the upcoming World Duel Carnival.
  • In episode 95, this card is shown when Yuma is looking at the "V" Cards Ray Shadows gave him and promises to use them to save Ray.
  • This card appears in the second opening theme, with "Stinging Swordsman" riding on it.
  • In the anime, the effect of this card is depicted by the Level 1 Monster mounting "Baby Tiragon" and the two attacking together.
  • This card's attack name in the Japanese version is "Baby Stream"'
