Yu-Gi-Oh![edit]

  • In episode 215, Yugi Muto uses this card during his Duel against Yami Bakura. He sets this card in Defense Position. "Doomcaliber Knight" then attacks this card which flips this card face-up. This card's first effect then activates, inflicting 1000 damage to Yami Bakura. Due to this card's second effect, it is not destroyed. Later Yugi activates "Marshmallon Glasses" to make all of Yami Bakura's monsters attack only this card. Yami Bakura then activates "Negate Defense" to switch this card to Attack Position. "Doomcaliber Knight" then attacks this card. This card is not destroyed due to its effect, but Yugi still takes Battle Damage. After "Silent Swordsman LV0" (whose ATK was 3000 due to it being powered up by its effect) attacks and destroys "Doomcaliber Knight", this card attacks directly. In the next episode, "Disgraced Mage" attacks this card. This card is not destroyed due to its effect, but Yugi still takes damage. On Yami Bakura's next turn, "Disgraced Mage" attacks this card, but Yugi activates "Blocken's" effect to redirect the attack to "Blocken", destroying it instead. Yugi wanted this to happen so he could free his "Silent Swordsman LV0" from "Spirit Sword of Sealing's" effect, but it didn't work as the effect of "Disgraced Mage" returned "Blocken" to his Deck. Later this card attacks "Disgraced Mage". Due to this card's effect, it is not destroyed. Yugi then destroys "Lengard" via its own effect to negate the Battle Damage he would have received. This frees "Silent Swordsman LV0" from the effect of "Spirit Sword of Sealing". In the following episode, this card and "Silent Magician LV0" attack and destroy two "Necro Soldiers". "Silent Swordsman LV0" then attacks the third "Necro Soldier", but Yami Bakura activates "Narrow Corridor" to prevent Yugi from attacking with more than two monsters. On the last turn of the duel, Yugi Tributes this card and "Silent Magician LV0" in order to Tribute Summon "Gandora the Dragon of Destruction". In the next episode, the Duel rewinds back to when Yugi draws "Gandora" on the final turn. Yugi then Tributes this card and "Silent Magician LV0" in order to Tribute Summon "Gandora".
  • In episode 223, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He adds this card from his Deck to his hand via the effect of "Witch of the Black Forest". In the next episode, Yugi sets this card in Defense Position and intends for Yami Yugi to attack it with "Dark Magician" (as that would activate its effect). Yami Yugi then activates "Thousand Knives" to destroy this card. Because this card was destroyed by a card effect, its effect does not activate.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he remembers Yugi adding this card from his Deck to his hand via the effect of "Witch of the Black Forest".
  • In the manga, the card did not inflict damage when flipped face-up by an attack. It instead had the ability to avoid being destroyed by attacks that weren't magical.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[edit]

  • In episode 87, Gelgo uses this card during his duel against Chazz Princeton during the Genex Tournament. He summons this card in Defense Position. Chazz then summons "White Knight Lancer" and equips it with "Infernal Gauntlet". He then activates the effect of "Infernal Gauntlet" to Tribute "White Knight Swordsman" to allow "White Knight Lancer" to attack twice this turn. "White Knight Lancer" then attacks this card. This card was not destroyed due to its effect, but "White Knight Lancer" then inflicts Piercing Damage to Gelgo. "White Knight Lancer" then attacks this card again due to the effect of "Infernal Gauntlet". This card was not destroyed due to its own effect, but "White Knight Lancer" then inflicts Piercing Damage to Gelgo, winning Chazz the duel.
  • In episode 161, Ms. Dorothy uses this card during her Tag Duel with Chancellor Sheppard against Jaden Yuki and Alexis Rhodes. She Normal Summons this card in Attack Position because she believed that its effect will prevent Jaden and Alexis from destroying it in battle. Jaden then states that while that is true, damage calculation will still be applied if this card battles another monster (which Ms. Dorothy was not aware of). Later "Elemental HERO Darkbright" then attacks this card. Due to this card's effect, it is not destroyed, but Ms. Dorothy and Sheppard still take Battle Damage. Jaden then activates "De-Fusion" to return "Darkbright" to the Extra Deck and Special Summon "Elemental HERO Sparkman" and "Elemental HERO Necroshade" from his Graveyard. "Sparkman" and "Necroshade" then attack this card. Due to this card's effect, it is not destroyed, but Ms. Dorothy and Sheppard still take Battle Damage. Sheppard vows revenge on his next turn, but Jaden states he can't do that as his Life Points are now 0. Due to this, Jaden and Alexis win the Duel though Alexis was unhappy because Jaden didn't bother to check her set card.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time[edit]

  • This card is shown being used in a Duel between two unknown Duelists after Yugi Muto, Jaden Yuki, and Yusei Fudo defeat Paradox and insure that Pegasus is able to arrive at the tournament event without a problem (as Paradox wanted to kill Pegasus to prevent his own terrible future from happening).
