Yu-Gi-Oh![edit]

  • In episode 108, Seto Kaiba uses this card during his duel against Leichter. He summons this card in Attack Position. This card then attacks and destroys Leichter's set "Hiro's Shadow Scout". This card then inflicts piercing damage to Leichter, but Leichter then activates his "Hiro's Shadow Scout's" Flip Effect, forcing Kaiba to draw three cards. He then had to discard the two Spells he drew due to the second effect of "Hiro's Shadow Scout". This card was then switched to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step due to its own effect. On Seto's next turn, he switches this card to Attack Position. This card then attacks Leichter's set monster, but Leichter activates "Mask of Perplexity" to redirect the attack at Seto's "Giant Germ", destroying it instead. Seto tries to activate "Crush Card Virus" in response, but Leichter activates the Deck Master ability of "Jinzo" to negate the effect of "Crush Card Virus" and destroy it. This card then switches to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step. Seto then activates the effect of his destroyed "Giant Germ" to summon another "Giant Germ" and inflict 500 damage to Leichter. On Seto's next turn, he switches this card to Attack Position. This card then attacks and destroys Leichter's set "Cyber Jar". This card then inflicts piercing damage to Leichter. "Cyber Jar's" Flip Effect then activates, destroying this card and "Giant Germ".
  • In episode 115, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Noah Kaiba. After Kaiba summons this card, he uses it to attack directly, but Noah uses the special ability of his Deck Master, "Shinato's Ark" to summon "Vampire Lord" and use it to intercept the attack. This card then destroys "Vampire Lord". This card then inflicts piercing damage to Noah. This card then switches to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step. "Giant Rex" then attacks and destroys this card. This card was then absorbed into "Shinato's Ark". In the next episode, Noah activates the Deck Master Ability of "Shinato's Ark" to banish all the monsters in the ark and increase his Life Points by 500 for each monster banished this way. Since twelve monsters were banished this way, Noah gains 6000 Life Points.
  • In episode 147, this monster can be seen flying into a strange mass of green crystal which gives way to the 'Dark Sun', a gigantic eye.
  • In episode 164, this monster can be seen in the army of Duel Monsters in the Pharaohs' flashback.
  • In episode 200, this card appears within Kaiba's briefcase when he opens it up and takes his Duel Disk with him.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[edit]

  • In episode 30, Nightshroud uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He summons this card in Attack Position. This card then attacks and destroys "Wroughtweiler". This card then inflicts piercing damage to Jaden. Jaden then activates the effect of "Wroughtweiler" to add "Elemental HERO Wildheart" and "Polymerization" from his Graveyard to his hand. At the end of the Damage Step, this card is switched to Defense Position. After Jaden summons "Wildheart", he activates "Wild Half" to halve the original ATK and DEF of "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" and Special Summon a Half Token with the same stats and effects as "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon". Jaden then summons "Elemental HERO Wildedge" and activates "Skyscraper". "Wildedge" then attacks the "Half Token". Due to the effect of "Skyscraper", "Wildedge" gains 1000 ATK during damage calculation only. "Wildedge" then destroys the token. "Wildedge" then attacks "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon". Due to the effect of "Skyscraper", "Wildedge" gains 1000 ATK during damage calculation only. "Wildedge" then destroys "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon". "Wildedge" then attacks and destroys this card, winning Jaden the Duel.
  • In episode 89, this card appears in a flashback Atticus has when he notes to Zane in his mind that he was once possessed by Nightshroud and trapped in the depths of darkness until he was rescued by Jaden and his friends.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light[edit]

  • Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He discards this card from his hand due to the second effect of "Card of Demise".
