• This card can be searched by "Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres", "Hieratic Dragon King of Atum", "Starliege Seyfert", "Bystial Magnamhut", "Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms", "Draconnection", "Ninjitsu Art of Super-Transformation", "Dragonic Guard", "Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy", "Chaos Zone", "Rescue Ferret", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.

• Using its effect, this card can gain up to 1500 ATK, bringing it to 3700 ATK. This can only be achieved if your opponent has at least 5 Spell Cards in his/her Graveyard.

• Use "Needle Worm", "Doom Dozer", "Vampire Lord" or "Virus Cannon" to mill your opponent's deck and ensure a supply of Spell Cards when you summon this card.

• Since this card is a Dragon-Type monster, you can use "Cyberdark Dragon's" effect on it when it is in the Graveyard, adding 2200 ATK to it. Both monsters are also DARK Attribute monsters, allowing you to use "Deck Devastation Virus".

• You can use "Anti-Spell Fragrance" and "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" to destroy your opponent set Spell Cards before summoning this card. "Heavy Storm" and "Malevolent Catastrophe" are good choices too.

• Combine this card with "D.D. Dynamite" to inflict 1500+ points of damage to your opponent's Life Points.

• This is a good card to use against a Spellcaster Deck, or a Deck that relies heavily on Spell Cards, like many Fusion Decks.

• Use "King Dragun" or "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" to Special Summon this card without tribute and activate its effect.

• You can make a combo with this card and "Tribute to the Doomed", "Fenghuang" and "Monster Reborn":
  • Activate "Tribute to the Doomed" by discarding "White-Horned Dragon" to destroy one of your opponent's monsters;
  • Tribute Summon "Fenghuang", and its effect will destroy all set Spell/Trap cards your opponent controls;
  • Activate "Monster Reborn" and Special Summon "White-Horned Dragon" from the Graveyard and activate its effect to increase its ATK up to 3700.
  • If the monster you destroyed by the effect of "Tribute to the Doomed" was the only monster your opponent controled, you will be able to deal him/her at best 5800 damage or more (depending on whether you have other monsters than "White-Horned Dragon" and "Fenghuang").

• Use "Soul Absorption" to gain Life Points when you use this card's effect.
• This card can be particularly useful against a Nekroz deck, as they use many Ritual spell cards that search other copies. Use this card later on in the game to banish as many ritual spells as possible, increasing this card's ATK and limiting their resources.
