• This card's name, "Aluber" (アルベル Aruberu), is a portmanteau of "Albaz" (アルバス Arubasu) and "Ruber" (Latin for "red").

• This card is a "Despia" counterpart of "Fallen of Albaz".
  • Both have the same Level, ATK, and DEF.
  • Both have a similar effect focused on Fusion Summoning, and they have opposite associated Spell Cards that can Summon their draconic Fusion forms: "Branded in Red" for this card and "Branded in White" for "Albaz".
  • Unlike most of the other "Despia" counterparts, this monster is not a corrupted form of "Fallen of Albaz".
  • The flavor text of "Aluber the Dogmatic" implies that "Albaz" may possibly be the other half of this monster, as it describes this monster as a thing separated by the Abyss.
    • This monster's hair color (red with white streaks) is also the opposite of that of "Albaz" (white with red streaks).
    • The kanji Rakuin (落胤, lit. "illegitimate child") in the Japanese name of "Fallen of Albaz" may refer to how he is the abandoned half of this monster.

• This monster has multiple empowered draconic forms:

  • "Fallen of Albaz"-oriented Dragon form(s): "Lubellion the Searing Dragon" → "Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon" (combined with "Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon")
  • "Bystial" Dragon form(s): "The Bystial Lubellion" → "The Bystial Alba Los" (combined with "Despian Proskenion")

• The European print of this card erroneously stated that it adds "Despia" Spell/Trap Cards to the hand instead of "Branded" ones, as seen here. This would have essentially rendered this card's effect useless, as all "Despia" support cards are "Branded" Spells/Traps, and the only one that is also a "Despia" card is "Despia, Theater of the Branded". This mistranslation was eventually fixed with an errata.
