What are some real good under the radar decks? List them in any order. Kageakumo 17:29, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Roids. Activate Chain Material then Vehicroid Connection Zone for Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill or Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union. That's all.--Yugioh DED (talkcontribs) 17:58, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

At this moment, I would say Destiny Heroes, they are still very strong, even though Destiny Draw is limited. There are still many combo's to be made up with Destiny Heroes. At this very moment I'm building a Destiny Hero deck combined with Zombies, it's working very well using Zombie World to revive the Destiny Heroes like Destiny Hero - Malicious with cards like Book of Life for fast Synchro Summoning. Volcanics. Volcanic Doomfire is the greatest 3000 hitter in my opinion. Burn + Beatdown, what else could you want?--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 21:06, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Crystal Beasts, hands down--BassNettoHikari2 (talkcontribs) 00:25, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Aliens, if used and built right, can become quite an annoyance even for top tier decks.AliensFTW (talkcontribs) 00:45, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, Aliens. They have a lot of support for a not well-noticed deck. I got rid of my Alien deck because it got out of control to build. Another variation of a Destiny Hero deck is a DED deck, which focuses on getting Destiny End Dragoon out fast. For an idea of the deck, feel free to check my page, where a deck list of the deck is on there.--Yugioh DED (talkcontribs) 00:48, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

  • I'm curious about that deck of yours. Destiny end dragoon is pretty strong card if you protect him enough to keep him on the battlefield. Since he has a 3000 atk status, he can bypass stardust easily and if a monster is stronger (granted you protect him to use its effect) you can destroy that monster and keep the semi lockdown. The only weakness I see is cards that remove from play. So what exactly do you do after summoning him?AliensFTW (talkcontribs) 01:11, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

If I get out two with the Chain Material+Fusion Gate combo, I usually Normal Summon a D-Hero after that, then sacrifice all three for a Destiny Hero - Plasma or Destiny Hero - Dogma (Fallensilence knows that ;D). Then, during my next Standby Phase, I get back the DEDs. I can counter remove from play stuff with Doomsday Horror, which I also have in my deck. If I just Poly DED, then he's usually on the field for some turns, and if he's not, I'll just bring him back. You can check my deck list on my page.--Yugioh DED (talkcontribs) 01:32, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Ojamas are an underrated deck because not only is it weird but never seen a lot in people's decks. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 13:58, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Surely the most underrated decks are the Skill Drain Decks, that can battle against any deck on the game, and just like the Alien guy said, it can be anoying even for top tier decks. Fawlker (talkcontribs) 01:11, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

Nobody expects the Chain Strike Burn Deck! Its primary two weapons are surprise, immense out-of-battle damage, and total avoidance of battle - wait, that's three... Surprise, immense out-of-battle damage, total avoidance of battle, and lack of a need to maintain field presence - no, wait, that's four now... Argh! Lemme do this over... --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 01:31, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

I was thinking Billy Deck because you won't know what they can be thinking of with a weird theme that they come up with. It doesn't pwn though. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 08:48, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

I think Rock decks are greatly underappreciated, but if used right, they can be deadly. A nice combo of a few Burden of the Mighties, Battle Mania, Destruction Punch, and Mask of Restrict make it almost impossible to bypass their wall of defense. The only way to beat them is with Dark Hunter, Shield Cursh, or Nobleman of Crossout. Drew-Gi-Oh! (talkcontribs) 01:06, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Or Black Rose Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend, Mist Wurm, Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier... Anyway, I think that some of the Duel Terminal archetypes are completely overshadowed, such as Naturia, Ice Barrier (Aside from their abused Synchhros), and Mist Valley.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 01:29, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

The Dark Scorpions. With some copies of Mystic Plasma Zone, The A. Forces, Burden of the Mighty, and some powerful Equips, they become terrifying. PHASE (talkcontribs) 01:35, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

They aren't as terrifying as the Gravekeeper's because of the new cards that Konami have gave them. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 05:42, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

My deck. XD kidding. Ummm I think Cyberdarks are underrated. I use them pretty well.

  • I agree with Drew-Gi-Oh tho, I have a Red Rock deck, it's a power deck with Red Dragon Archfiend, it was pretty well Aznskills90214 (talkcontribs) 19:40, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Frogs. You hardly ever see them used, but they have awesome effects and work great with cards like Level Limit - Area B. If you combine 3 Flip Flop Frogs with 2 Dupe Frogs, you have a way to hold off all enemy attacks, while sending their monsters back to their hands, either waiting for a save card or, you could use Hand Destruction. --User:Anonymous By Choice

Wait, did you just say that "Frogs" are underrated and often left out? This after they won a national in Europe, Canada's national (over "Infernity"), and are a top competitor with Frognarchs? The most underrated tournament play Deck is Blackwings. DemonGodAsura (talkcontribs) 01:56, July 10, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry if I've caused confusion, I don't much get into what happens in Yu-Gi-Oh! outside my country, so all I know is that no-one I've seen at my local gaming spot uses them, except me. --Anonymous By Choice (talkcontribs) 02:07, July 10, 2010 (UTC)

Empty Jar decks 24.22.44.158 (talk) 22:10, January 2, 2011 (UTC)

Same here

I see people who run Blackwings all the time, but hardly any frogs. And the frogs look so weak anyway few inexperienced players will think their decent. Just from the people I know anyway. IPlay4Fun (talkcontribs) 13:14, September 27, 2010 (UTC)

Well actually same here. So do Rescue Cat decks since its banned and now an entire world of cats been destroyed. I wish I can at least see a bunch more frog decks. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 13:24, September 27, 2010 (UTC)

I'd have to say Ancient Gears - With the Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem/Power Bond/Limiter Removal OTK, You have 17,600 ATK Piercing beast. Which is immune to traps when it attacks. Booooom.

I don't hear alot of the Reactors. They deal 800 everytime your opponent does something, (1100 with DRoN). With the release of Dark Flat Top hopefully we can see them coming from behind. --Azure Knight-Zeo (talkcontribs) 21:17, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

Sadly, I've tried them myself, and they're not very good due to their low stats. This injures their survivability, and whatever that can hold off attacks is LV5. And Dark Flat Top is a little difficult to summon using the Reactors alone, too. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 02:24, January 2, 2011 (UTC)

What about mill decks, or unusual burn deck setups? They can work really well and very aggressively, but I don't see them played very much. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 01:49, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

Amazoness decks are pretty good, but not seen too often. It's not anywhere near the meta but with cards like Chain Master, Queen, Trainee, & Village it can get pretty one sided. Although only Queen & Heirloom can be a little expensive, Queen being the most around 6-8 dollars and Heirloom around 2-3 dollars its doesn't take much to make an Amazoness deck. Automation44 (talkcontribs) 04:39, January 4, 2011 (UTC)Automation44

Dinos. No one that's of notice ever uses Dinos. No one even locally runs them, except me, and even then, the first time they will be run in the local tournament is this Sunday. MachinaMan (talkcontribs) 03:36, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

I generally don't like Dinos, but I make a big exception for the Dinosaur archetype - Jurracs. They're quite powerful, have amazing search power, can dominate the battle phase, and have some great synchro monsters. Runer5h (talkcontribs) 03:34, January 7, 2011 (UTC)Runer5h

I say naturias all the way, hands down

Man crystal beast man I think they r a really great deck a otk that's awesome and they can swarm great draw power
