==Design==
===Appearance===

Mitsuko is a large humanoid alien, around three meters (10 feet) in height. She has shoulder-length black hair (which fades out to red at the tips) with several feather-like spikes poking out to the sides, red eyebrows, and blue eyes with white markings on the lower eyelids. She wears a shoulderless black bodysuit under a sleeveless purple-gray dress that exposes her black underclothing at the hips and is connected at the back by a gold ring, and purple-gray thigh-high stiletto boots.

Mitsuko often wears a large alien costume conceptually based on the [[wikipedia:Flatwoods monster|flatwoods monster]]. It includes a helmet made of a round, blood-red face with two glowing red eyes and a large pointed hood or shape-like shape in the back, which can act on its own, in which time the eyes turn yellow and third one appears. Her body is clad in a large sleeveless black dress with a red necktie and belt that appears to hang down from the helmet, and large rake-like hand with three claws. When not projecting the costume, her helmet grows six tentacles from below instead.

===Personality===
Mitsuko seems to have a strong affinity with the number three, often using the number as a verbal tic or making metaphors that involve it. Her usual personality is generally calm, kind and gentle, though she is fully capable of descending into rages when angered and acting in a more monstrous fashion.

Mitsuko is strongly loyal to Zuwijo, respectfully addressing him with the "-sama" honorific (roughly equivalent to addressing someone as "Sir", "Lord", or "Master"). She willingly allowed herself to be captured to further his plans, despite having doubts about the odds of it succeeding. After Zuwijo left her behind on [[Earth (planet)|Earth]] and [[Dinois Velgear]] taunted her over it, she developed a desire to pursue Zuwijo to seek an explanation. 

While she was infatuated Zuwijo since they first met, she eventually became bitter towards him and developed a deep seated jealousy towards and rivalry with [[Dinois Velgear]] due to Dinois replacing her as Zuwijo's right hand later on. She had wrongfully beloved that her affections were rebuffed because of this when Zuwijo never reciprocated them to begin with as it was revealed that she had just been fantasizing it all along while completely misinterpreting his words. When influenced by [[Darkness Samsara]], her scornful feelings towards the two were amplified even further.<ref name="ep72 />

While in her monster persona, she claims to enjoy scaring children more than eating, which Zuwijo used to his advantage in having her lure Yudias to the the abandoned factory he was hiding in with urban myths that were scaring children in order to have Yudias Duel her.<ref name="ep6" />

===Etymology===
"Hiramori" is a direct translation of "flatwoods". "Mitsuko" means "three-child", in reference to her height and obsession with the number 3.

==Abilities==
While in her alien costume, Mitsuko is able to fold her body into a big chair, and has the ability to glide through the air.<ref name="ep6">{{Episode|GO RUSH!!|6|ref}}</ref> She has the strength to lift humans, bend metal, and break stone, which she uses to break herself and several other aliens out of the MIK prison.<ref name="ep10">{{Episode|GO RUSH!!|10|ref}}</ref> Due to her costume lacking opposable thumbs, Mitsuko has the ability to make items close to her hands float while she wears it (causing her fingers to emit a yellow glow), which she uses to hold cards while Dueling and when she rescues Zuwijo from the MIK.<ref name="ep6">{{Episode|GO RUSH!!|6|ref}}</ref><ref name="ep14">{{Episode|GO RUSH!!|14|ref}}</ref>

Her helmet can fire red laser beams from its eyes, which she uses to combat EX6 to protect the Earthdamar. While not being worn, it can also fly and act on its own, and can make the costume it normally projects disappear.<ref name="ep13">{{Episode|GO RUSH!!|13|ref}}</ref>

==Biography==
===First Arc===
Mitsuko spread rumors of urban legends to keep people away from a warehouse where she and [[Zuwijo zir Velgear]] were hiding, though in truth they intended to lure Zuwijo's former subordinate [[Yudias Velgear]] to the warehouse and test him to see if he would join them, while also attracting the attention of MIK so Mitsuko could allow herself to be arrested and free the imprisoned [[Chupataro Kaburagi]]. Mitsuko's actions succeeded in catching the attention of [[UTS]], and Yudias himself arrived to investigate, unwittingly sitting on Mitsuko in her Flatwoods monster disguise. Once [[Yuhi Ohdo|Yuhi]] and [[Yuamu Ohdo]] arrived, Mitsuko revealed herself, claiming she enjoyed scaring people to encourage Yudias to Rush Duel her. Mitsuko's "[[The Three Moonlit Mystery Geckos (anime)|The Three Moonlit Mystery Geckos]]" Trap helped her gain a lead in LP, as did Yudias' misplay of his "Nebula Power" Trap. However on his next turn Yudias took advantage of their high numbers of [[Normal Monster]]s to power up his "[[Galactica Oblivion (anime)|Galactica Oblivion]]" past the point Mitsuko could strengthen her monsters, defeating her. Yudias had been reminded of his time with Zuwijo during the Duel and deduced he was present. Zuwijo revealed himself and asked Yudias to join him, but Yudias refused to continue fighting and was denounced by Zuwijo. MIK then arrived just as had been planned, and Mitsuko allowed herself to be arrested while Zuwijo escaped, telling Yudias he would meet Zuwijo again before being taken away.<ref name="ep6">{{Episode|GO RUSH!!|6|ref}}</ref>

Once she was taken to the [[MIK Headquarters]], Mitsuko escaped from her cell and broke Chupataro and several other aliens out.<ref name="ep10">{{Episode|GO RUSH!!|10|ref}}</ref> She took Chupataro to [[Mutsuba Tower]] to have his [[Duel Disk]] exposed to Yuhi's [[Earthdamar]] for three hours, before he was sent to [[Mutsuba Cable Studio]].<ref name="ep12">{{Episode|GO RUSH!!|12|ref}}</ref> Mitsuko waited with Zuwijo at the tower for Yudias to find him, confirming to Yudias, Yuhi, Yuamu, [[Manya Atachi]], [[Bochi]] and [[London Kirishima]] that she had broken Chupataro out of prison according to Zuwijo's plan and directing their attention to his presence.<ref name="ep11">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!|11|ref}}</ref> Zuwijo and Yudias Rush Dueled, unable to come to an agreement, and Mitsuko explained the process of exposing Duel Disks to the Earthdamar to the assembled group, boasting that Zuwijo's mastery of the Egil Velgear power it granted him was leagues above Chupataro's. After Zuwijo's manifested "[[Voidvelgr Hecatoncheir (anime)|Voidvelgr Hecatoncheir]]" was destroyed, Zuwijo discreetly ordered Mitsuko to leave and enact the next stage of their plan; Mitsuko left for the power supply to activate the Earthdamar at Zuwijo's command after he [[Tribute Summon]]ed "[[Voidvelgr Requiem (anime)|Voidvelgr Requiem]]", allowing to clad himself in the monster and Mitsuko to spread its power across [[Mutsuba Town]].<ref name="ep12" /> MIK attempted to break into the power room and Mitsuko sent her costume to battle them while she continued to monitor the Earthdamar, and when the tower began to shake she wondered if something had happened to Zuwijo. To Mitsuko's shock the side of Mutsuba Tower was demolished by [[Asaka Mutsuba]]'s [[Heavy Cavalry]], [[EX6]], which extracted the Earthdamar and cancelled its effects over Mutsuba Town. Battered from the extracted, Mitsuko retreated to the top of Mutsuba Tower to continue watching the Rush Duel and was surprised when Zuwijo didn't take an easy victory by attacking Yudias immediately. Yudias defeated Zuwijo, and Mitsuko fled with him in her arms, wondering if Zuwijo had planned to lose to Yudias.<ref name="ep13" />

===Second arc===
At [[Zuwijo zir Velgear|Zuwijo's]] request, Mitsuko infiltrated the [[Rovian Bandits]] and was present to witness [[Yudias Velgear|Yudias']] transformation into a shirt-like form and the efforts of [[Yuhi Ohdo|Yuhi]] and [[Yuamu Ohdo]] to rescue him.<ref name="ep25">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!|25|ref}}</ref> After [[Rovian Kirishima]] defeated Yuhi and Yuamu, Mitsuko kept her cover when the Ohdo twins were rescued by [[Manya Atachi]] and [[Bochi]], who had also infiltrated the Rovian Bandits, glancing at Yudias on the clothesline.<ref name="ep22">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!|22|ref}}</ref> Mitsuko remained at [[Badloon Castle]] to keep watch for the twins and found them rescuing Yudias after returning, but allowed them to leave and pointed the other Rovian Bandits away from them.<ref name="ep23">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!|23|ref}}</ref>

Mitsuko returned to the surface soon afterwards, Yudias blowing into her head. She took him back to her and Zuwijo's hideout before giving her report, then she and Zuwijo brought Yudias with them to [[Kappa Heavenly Cleaning]], Mitsuko noting the high humidity that [[Tell Kawai]] kept his laboratory in. Mitsuko and Zuwijo collected [[Earthdamar]] particles from the humid area and Zuwijo splashed them on Yudias, then asked Kawai to return them to UTS, Mitsuko providing Kawai with the address.<ref name="ep24">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!|24|ref}}</ref> Zuwijo also gave Yudias an [[Equip Spell Card]], "[[Galactica Xiphos (anime)|Galactica Xiphos]]".<ref name="ep25" />

Mitsuko and Zuwijo watched from their hideout as Yudias [[Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel|Rush Dueled]] Rovian, Mitsuko asking Zuwijo why he gave Yudias "Galactica Xiphos", and Zuwijo claiming that as [[Velgearian]] warriors they were unable to escape from a specific fact.<ref name="ep25" /> During the Duel [[Space Treasure|a spaceship]] was revealed to be hidden beneath the [[UTS Main Office]] and was taken away by [[London Kirishima]] and [[Netsuzo Shinjitsu]]; Mitsuko was concerned, but Zuwijo ordered her to wait. Yudias finding his resolve during the Rush Duel in the face of Rovian's challenge caused [[Val-Valvelgear|a larger Velgearian spaceship]] beneath them to activate, enclosing [[Mutsuba Town]] in an energy dome and launching into space.
