Dragon column in the table[edit]

Unless there's any direct connection between each portion of the Crimson Dragon and the dragon associated with its corresponding Signer, I don't the Dragons should be mentioned in the table. They're not like the dark marks, which are directly connected with an "Earthbound Immortal", as they are shaped like them. Given the current state of the table, Rudger and Rex are both listed as Signer associated with the head, but only one with the Dragon implying the connection is solely with the Signer and not the mark. (Although I disagree with that. No connection has been shown between either of them with the fifth Dragon, so why is it listed alongside one and not the other?) -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:16, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Well becuase they are stubborn with that, when everything youre saying is actually right and makes sense. The mark itself identify them as a Signer, but for their dragons is totally different reasons. Mean a very known example we all know is Yusei who possesed Stardust and wasnt a Signer when the series started until later. So for now it will be good to erase the fifth dragon form that navbox until it is actually revealed who possseses that last Five dragon card. DracoX 17:34, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Well, the show's title stands for 5 Dragons, so why wouldn't the dragons be included with the Signers? 5 Signers, 5 Dragons. As for Yusei, his mark didn't activate because there was never a circumstance that required Stardust to choose him as the Signer. Don't forget that the Dragons are connected to the Signers through "fate", as the Crimson Dragon only bestows its mark to those who are deserving, and one of its 5 Dragons become that Signers partner. AFAIK, there's no evidence that the show's title stands for Five Dragons, but that's beside the point. I didn't say the dragons aren't connected with the Signers. They are. So yes you must have a mark of the dragon to be associated with one be of the Dragons. But has there been any evidence to say the dragon you get depends on which mark you have? If it does it would mean "Stardust Dragon" should now belong to Crow. -- Deltaneos (talk) 09:52, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Picture[edit]

Despite the new pic being newer, shouldn't the old pic be used since it shows all 5 marks? Or is there another image that shows all 5 marks as they are now (i.e. Yusei with the Head, Crow with the Tail)? Or if no one minds I could add the Head (and probably the combined form from Yusei's back) onto the screencap that's currently used (sorta like the one on the bottom of the EI page that shows 6 out of 7 Immortals) --Blackstone Dresden 22:55, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

ok, good[edit]

Thank you Draco for finding/taking a very good picture of the Unknown Signer Marking from the game and placing it in the Non-Canon section of the Article~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 22:43, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

You're welcome. DracoX 17:51, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Just watched episode 42. When Godwin brings the Signers to the shrine, there is a picture of a door. A part of the door bears a close resemblance to the Unknown Signer Marking. Here's a link to a pic of the door. Red.Helling (talkcontribs) 20:11, January 27, 2012 (UTC)

Leo's Mark?[edit]

Do you think we should upload a picture of Leo and his Mark of the Dragon on this page? If the answer is yes or no, then explain why we should or shouldn't have it on this page? --68.105.214.183 (talk) 20:56, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

It should be there. But since there are no group of signer till next week. So it's unknown of how to merge two pages into one. --FredCat Ta.P.F.P.J.R.W.S.Th.P.S.C. 21:04, January 5, 2011 (UTC)
Oh... okay then. I was just wondering if it was necessary to just show a picture with Leo and his Mark, but I guess we can wait to see if there's a group photo coming in the future. Thanks FredCat100. ^_^ --68.105.214.183 (talk) 03:33, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
Someone did upload a picture of Leo with his mark, but it was removed from the article. I think it should be put back in. "Something better can be added later" doesn't sound a valid argument for removing it. I haven't seen the episode, but I was interested in seeing what the mark looked like. Full dragon mark[edit]

In Reverse of Arcadia if you look at the full mark, you can see the heart in the claw. Just thought it was pretty interesting fact that it was included. I don't know if it was mentioned in the article, or if I missed it, but shouldn't it be trivia that the heart mark was shown almost a year before it was revealed to be leo's mark in japan? ~Anonymous —This unsigned comment was made by 72.161.242.249 (talkcontribs)

That's mentioned in the video game article. Siguiendo la luna no llegare lejos, tan lejos como se pueda llegar ♫ 00:05, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

Marks materializing duel monsters[edit]

The reason I took out the sentence that reads "The marks may also have the power to materialize Duel Monster cards and their effects." is because there is so much evidence that it doesn't. The only monsters that were possibly made solid by the marks were the Signer dragons, and that's only because they are servants to the Crimson Dragon, and only when they're facing something with great power (such as another Signer dragon for example). Also, if the marks could materialize a Duel Monster's effect, then why weren't the twins' wounds healed by Ancient Fairy Dragon's effect? The only Signer that has been able to materialize every Duel Monster and their effects is Akiza, and she's a psychic Duelist. —This unsigned comment was made by 72.223.49.77 (talkcontribs) 18:06, 16 August 2012‎ (UTC)

Possible rename[edit]

Based on Akiza's profile description in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, I wonder if this article should be renamed "Mark of the Crimson Dragon". I have yet to watch the English dub thoroughly, or any other EN videogames, to support this though. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 18:49, 27 September 2018 (UTC)

The English dub definitely uses that term. I can't quite recall if Mark of the Dragon is used though; I have a feeling that it is. In any case, the entire dub is on YouTube legally, so it's not too difficult to check. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 10:47, 28 September 2018 (UTC)
The Skills in Duel Links also use just "Mark of the Dragon," e.g. "Mark of the Dragon - Head" for Yusei's Skill. MadRest (talkcontribs) 19:05, 28 September 2018 (UTC)
