For trivia pertaining to this monster's Number, see Forum:"Numbers" Xyz Monster Trivia. Any contributions regarding this type of trivia should be placed there, instead of this page.
- This monster appears in the artworks of "Shark Splash" and "Xyz Revive Splash".
- This card has 2 "Number C" upgraded forms: "Number C32: Shark Drake Veiss" and "Number C32: Shark Drake Leviathan".
- "CXyz N.As.Ch. Knight" is an upgraded form of "Number C101: Silent Honor DARK" combined with this monster.
- The number "32" can be seen on the left side of this monster's chest.
- This card's "Number" as shown on the monster itself can still be read as "32" even if it is upside-down. This could possibly reflect this card's duality of being used for good despite its dark nature, in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime.
- This card has the highest ATK of all Sea Serpent Xyz Monsters.
- Despite having "Dragon" in its Japanese name and its dragon-like appearance, this monster is actually Sea Serpent.
- This is also the first Sea Serpent-Type "Number" monster.
- This is similar to "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier", who is Sea Serpent despite having "Dragon" in its name and having a Dragon-like appearance.
- This card has 2800 ATK, the same as various monsters used by Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and manga supporting protagonists, such as "Gilford the Lightning" (Joey Wheeler), "Armed Dragon LV7" (Chazz Princeton), "Light and Darkness Dragon" (Chazz Princeton in the manga), "Black-Winged Dragon" (Crow Hogan), and "Blackfeather Darkrage Dragon" (Crow Hogan in the manga).
- This card could be considered the anti-thesis to "Number 39: Utopia". This is shown through the difference in their effects.
- "Utopia" relies on pure defensive strategies, detaching its Xyz Materials to negate attacks, while "Shark Drake" relies on pure offensive strategies, detaching its Xyz Materials to bring back destroyed monsters, and then attacking them again, causing even more damage to the opponent.
- While "Utopia" goes from a light color scheme to a dark one after achieving Chaos Xyz Evolution, "Shark Drake" goes from a dark color scheme to a light one.
- This card could be considered the anime counterpart of "Bahamut Shark". Both are Rank 4 WATER Sea Serpent-Type Xyz Monsters that are ace monsters of Shark.
- This monster's head resembles the dorsal head of "Shark Caesar". Fittingly, both cards are owned by Shark.
- This monster has a similar color scheme as Shark's motorcycle.
