Wedge Counter (Japanese:
Duelist Pack: Legend Duelist 3 introduced the following:
- "Blackwing Full Armor Master", which utilizes Wedge Counter differently, as it automatically places one on every monster on the opponent's field after it activates an effect. Once per turn, it can take control of a monster with a Wedge Counter and it can also destroy all monsters with Wedge Counters on them during the player's End Phase.
- "Blackwing - Auster the South Wind", which places 1 Wedge Counter on each face-up monster the opponent controls that does not already have one.
There can be only be a maximum of one Wedge Counter on each monster, regardless of which card places it. Wedge Counters were the first counters to be represented by an official card: "Wedge Counter".
