• The chant for this card in the anime is: "The all-seeing and all-powerful king who rules the heavens circling the North Star. Now, show your might that reigns over the Gods of Asgard! Synchro Summon! He who rules the world ordained by the Gods! The Highest God, "Polar God Sacred Emperor Odin"!" In the dub, it's "Divinity rises! Behold the ruler of all things! I synchro summon the ultimate Nordic God, Odin, Father of the Aesir!"

• In the anime this card's attack name is called Heaven's Judgment and its effect name is called Influence of Rune. In the dub, they were changed to Sacred Scepter Slash and Command of the Runes respectively.

• In the original anime, this card's attribute is DIVINE and it's type is Divine-Beast. In the dub it is changed to a LIGHT monster.

• In the anime, when this card was played by Halldor against Yusei, it was shown to be much taller than all of Neo Domino City and the other Nordic Gods.

• When this monster comes back via its own effect in the anime, it descends from the sky.

Monster appearances

• In episode 117, this card is shown when Team Ragnarok take out their Aesir cards. Halldor notes that even though a shockwave changed history, nobody besides themselves were affected and that was possibly because the three Aesirs were protecting them.

• In episode 123, this card appears in a flashback Halldor has when he explains to Team 5D's how he, Dragan, and Broder found the three Aesirs, how they got the Rune Eyes and how they formed themselves into a team. After Halldor obtained the Rune Eye during his time as a military pilot, he went into Dueling and later found this card within a tree root in a chamber in his family's mansion. Halldor then went on to find others who have the Rune Eye. Halldor later met Dragan who was saved from an avalanche by his Rune Eye. Halldor would then introduce himself and show this card to Dragan, stating that he is the owner of this card. Halldor later used this card to find "Loki, Lord of the Aesir" within its hidden location. Broder then stole "Loki" and tried to get away with it. He was pursued by Dragan, Halldor and Sebastian, but eventually Broder hit a boulder and crashed, however Broder's Rune Eye saved him from being killed. Broder was about to give "Loki" back, but Halldor and Dragan showed their Aesir cards to him. Halldor states that he was chosen to be "Loki's" wielder. He then convinced Broder to join him and Dragan, so they can stop the upcoming threat. All three would hold their new signature cards up and vow to defeat any evil force that would come in the future.
  • After Halldor explains his backstory, Yusei Fudo suggests they work together, however Halldor shows this card and states the Aesirs don't see Team 5D's as allies. Halldor states he, his friends, and the Aesirs believe Yusei only carries a destiny of destruction as he was the son of Dr. Fudo who created Zero Reverse.

• In episode 129, Halldor Synchro Summons this monster against Yusei on his first turn. It is later removed from play due to "Gjallarhorns" effect.

• In episode 138, this monster is shown trying to maintain the Rainbow Bridge, and then disappears.

Video game

• Halldor uses this in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2011: Over the Nexus, as well as in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Tag Force 6.
