- In Rank 4 and episode 2, Yuma Tsukumo plays this card against Shark. He overlays "Ganbara Knight" with "Gagaga Magician" to Xyz Summon it. It attacks and destroys Shark's "Drill Barnacle". Shark attacks it with his "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon", but Yuma uses the effect of "Utopia" to send the overlaid "Ganbara Knight" to the Graveyard and negate the attack. Shark attacks it with "Jawsman", but Yuma activates his face-down "Bye Bye Damage", preventing its destruction in battle and dealing 800 damage to Shark. On his turn, Yuma attacks "Leviathan Dragon" with this card, but negates his own attack by sending the overlaid "Gagaga Magician" to the Graveyard. This lets him activate "Double or Nothing!", letting this card attack again with its ATK doubled. "Leviathan" is destroyed and Yuma wins the Duel.
- In episode 3, this card is shown in Yuma's Extra Deck as he Duels Professor Ukyo. In the next episode, he Xyz Summons it by overlaying "Ganbara Knight" and "Goblindbergh". Ukyo attacks with the "Achacha Archer" that his "Number 34: Terror-Byte" took control of and Yuma negates the attack by sending the overlaid "Ganbara Knight" to the Graveyard. "Terror-Byte" also attacks, and Yuma sends the overlaid "Goblindbergh" to the Graveyard to negate the attack. Yuma wins the Duel by attacking directly with this card.
- In Rank 5 and episode 5, Tokunosuke Omoteura Special Summons this card from Yuma's Extra Deck via the effect of "Ultra C". It attacks and destroys Yuma's "Full Elf". It later attacks "Baby Tiragon" while under the effect of "Half Unbreak". Yuma attacks directly with "Stinging Swordsman" via the effect of "Baby Tiragon", returning "Ultra C" and "Traitor Fog" to Tokunosuke's hand and giving Yuma control of "Leviathan Dragon" and this card back. This card attacks directly to win after "Leviathan Dragon" destroys "Flipangatan".
- In episode 8, Yuma plays this card against Fuya Okudaira. He overlays "Gagaga Magician" and "Kagetokage" to Xyz Summon it. It attacks "Beast Warrior Puma", but Fuya negates the attack by activating his face-down "Wings of Unity" and Special Summoning "Phoenix Beast Galeruda". Yuma sends both Overlay Units to the Graveyard to negate attacks by "Galeruda" and "ESPer Star Sparrow" during next turn. Fuya attacks it with his "D.D. Jet Iron" on the next turn, with Yuma using his face-down "Fiery Fervor" to increase its ATK. He then switches "D.D. Jet Iron" to Defense Position and "Number 83: Galaxy Queen" to Attack Position with his face-down "Vector Change". Yuma attacks "Galaxy Queen" with "Utopia" but Fuya activates his face-down "Star Robin is Forever!", Special Summoning "ESPer Star Sparrow" with 0 ATK and redirecting the ATK to it. This wins Yuma the Duel.
- In episode 10, Yuma plays this card against Shark. He overlays "Gogogo Golem" with "Gagaga Magician" to Xyz Summon it. It attacks "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark", but Shark banishes the "Friller Rabca" in his Graveyard to negate the attack and reduce the ATK of this card by 500. Shark negates all of its effects with the effect of "Black Ray Lancer", allowing that card to attack and destroy it, winning him the Duel.
- In episode 11, Yuma shows this card to Rikuo and Kaio.
- In episode 12, Yuma plays this card while teaming with Shark against Rikuo and Kaio. He overlays "Goblindbergh" and "Gagaga Magician" to Xyz Summon it. Kaio activates "Avalanche", preventing "Utopia" from attacking and inflicting 500 damage to him each time "Utopia" uses an effect. When Kaio attacks with both "Regent Blizzardon" and "Menchi Icebergdon", Yuma activates the effect of this card twice, sending both Overlay Units to the Graveyard to negate the attacks and save Shark at the expense of 1000 of his own Life Points. This card is destroyed by the effect of Rikuo's "Number 61: Volcasaurus", with Yuma halving the damage with "Damage Diet". Yuma uses the effect of "Armored Xyz" to equip this card from his Graveyard to Shark's "Black Ray Lancer". This lets it destroy "Volcasaurus".
- In episode 14, Yuma plays this card against Kaito Tenjo. He Overlays "Gagaga Magician" and "Ganbara Knight" to Xyz Summon it. He increases its ATK with "Blustering Winds" and attacks "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", but Kaito uses its effect to banish both monsters, with this card losing its Overlay Units as as result. "Galaxy-Eyes" attacks this card, which is not destroyed as the attacker was not a "Number". Yuma later plays "Cross Attack", letting this card attack directly by preventing "Leviathan Dragon" from attacking. Kaito negates the attack with "Lumenize" and increases the ATK of "Galaxy-Eyes" by that of this card.
- In episode 16, Yuma plays this card against Yamikawa. He overlays "Gagaga Magician" with "Dododo Warrior" to Xyz Summon it. It attacks "Number 12: Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja", but Yamikawa uses its effect to detach an Overlay Unit and prevent his monster's destruction in battle. Yuma plays "Revenge Attack", letting this card attack again with an ATK increase of 1000, winning the Duel.
- In episode 17, this card appears in a flashback to episode 6.
- In episode 18, Yuma plays this card against Jin. He overlays "Ganbara Knight" with "Kagetokage" to Xyz Summon it. It attacks and destroys "Number 16: Ruler of Color - Shock Ruler". Jin takes control of it via the effect of "Number 11: Big Eye". It attacks and destroys Yuma's "Kuribolt". It attacks directly on the next turn, but Yuuma activates his face-down "Xyz Weight", reducing its ATK by 1600 due to its two Overlay Units. Yuma regains control of it with "Come Back!" and overlays it with its Overlay Units to Xyz Summon "Number C39: Utopia Ray".
- In episode 20, Yuma plays this card against Number 96's holder. It attacks and destroys "Number 96: Black Mist", winning the Duel. Later in the same episode, Yuma gives this card to Tetsuo Takeda, who uses it against Number 96 when the latter possesses Astral. Tetsuo overlays "Aye-Iron" and "Tin Goldfish" to Xyz Summon it. He removes a Clockwork Counter from "Clockwork Catapult" to increase its ATK by 500. It attacks "Black Mist", but Number 96 detaches an Overlay Unit to halve the ATK of this card and add it to "Black Mist". Tetsuo detaches and Overlay Unit to negate his own attack, with Number 96 activating his face-down "Resilience", inflicting damage to Tetsuo equal to the difference between the ATK of the two monsters. Number 96 attacks this card with "Black Mist", detaching an Overlay Unit to halve its ATK again and add it "Black Mist". Tetsuo detaches and Overlay Unit to negate the attack, but Number 96, activates his face-down "Overlay Banish" negating the effect. Thus, this card is destroyed. Tetsuo reduces the ATK of "Black Mist" with "Clockwork Shikigami" and uses "Monster Reborn" to revive this card, who attacks and destroys "Black Mist".
