• In anime, when this card detaches an Xyz Material, it absorbs the Xyz Material through its horn. It also uses its tail to take control of its opponent's monsters.

• The initial form of this monster is a strange cubic object made of its armor. When it transforms, the armor spreads out as the machinery inside extends to create "Terror-Byte".

• In episode 3, Mr. Kay plays this card against Yuma Tsukumo. He overlays "Crashbug X", "Crashbug Y" and "Crashbug Z" to Xyz Summon it. He uses its effect to send the overlaid "Crashbug Y" to the Graveyard and take control of Yuma's "Gogogo Golem" until the End Phase. In the next episode, Mr. Kay takes control of "Gogogo Golem" a second time using this effect, and attacks directly via the effect of "Infected Mail", while dealing damage with "Cracking" when "Infected Mail" destroys "Gogogo Golem". He later sends the final Overlay Unit to the Graveyard to take control of Yuma's "Achacha Archer". It attacks directly with "Infected Mail", but Yuma negates the attack by sending the "Ganbara Knight" overlaid on his "Number 39: Utopia" to the Graveyard. When Mr. Kay Special Summons "Super Crashbug", this card switches to Attack Position and its ATK and DEF switch. Mr. Kay uses it to attack Yuma's "Number 39: Utopia", but Yuma negates the attack by sending an Overlay Unit to the Graveyard. Its stats return to normal when Yuma destroys "Super Crashbug" with "Asleep at the Switch". "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon" attacks and destroys it, with "Utopia" attacks directly, winning the Duel for Yuma.
  • In the preview of episode 003, this card has 2800 DEF instead of 2900 and it was shown as a Level 3 monster instead of a Rank 3 monster.

• In episode 6, this card is seen when Yuma checks his Extra Deck.

• In episode 65, Yuma summons this monster, along with "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon" and "Number 39: Utopia" against Vetrix's "Number 8: Heraldic King Genom-Heritage", "Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction" and "Number 10: Illumiknight".

• In episode 76, Yuma summons this card against David Knox by using "Rai Rider", "Zubaba Knight" and "Mimimic". Its Overlay Units are then taken by David's "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force". This card is then destroyed by "CXyz Coach Lord Ultimatrainer".
