Card Tips:Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell
Revision as of 07:30, 12 December 2013 by Blazenarutoshippuden (talk) (removed Final Count Down from field list that isn't a field spell.)
- Discard "Magical Blast" (for Spellcaster Decks) or "Ojamagic" (in an "Ojama" Deck) and you can activate their effects on your next turn.
- If you play someone who utilizes 3 copies of "Polymerization" this card is extremely handy as it not only negates the effect of the first one, but stops them from using the other 2, making them dead weight in their deck.
- If your opponent is a "Final Countdown" player, then this card will negate the activation of the 1st Final Countdown as well as turn the remaining 2 copies into dead weight cards. Once Final Countdown has been negated they will have no chance of winning anymore as Final Countdown decks only stall.
- Use against a deck whose strategy is based in a single Spell Card.
- This card is especially useful against an "Evil HERO" Deck. Using it against "Dark Fusion" will basically halt their entire deck, giving you a major advantage.
- This card is useful against players whose game depends on a certain key Spell card: "Dimensional Fissure", "Final Countdown", "A Legendary Ocean", "Call of the Mummy", "Book of Life", "Molten Destruction", "Mausoleum of the Emperor", "Zombie World", "Supervise" , "Miracle Fusion", "Gishki Aquamirror","Infernity Launcher", "Iron Core Armor", "Rekindling", etc.
- "Volcanic" users will be at a severe disadvantage if you seal "Blaze Accelerator", as it not only prevents them from using the "Accelerator" to shoot your monsters, but also stops them from upgrading it to "Tri-Blaze Accelerator", making up to 5 cards in their deck dead weight (even more, if they planned on using "Volcanic Doomfire").
- Many deck types rely heavily on the use of a single Field Spell Card and sealing them will cripple their deck. Decks in particular that rely on a Field Spell Card are:
- "Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins" for "Crystal Beast" Decks
- "Neo Space" for "Neo-Spacian" Decks
- "Necrovalley" for "Gravekeeper's" Decks
- "Venom Swamp" for "Venom" Decks
- "Morphtronic Map" for "Morphtronic" Decks
- "Toon World" for Toon Decks
- "Zombie World" for Zombie Decks
- "Pandemonium" for "Archfiend" Decks
- "Dragon Ravine" for "Dragunity" Decks
- "Magical Citadel of Endymion" for "Spell Counter" Decks
- "The Gates of Dark World" for "Dark World" Decks
- "Sacred Sylvan Peak" for "Shinra" Decks
- If this card's discard cost is too specific for you, try using "Spell Vanishing" for a similar effect.
- Use this card against a "Blackwing" Deck when your opponent activates "Black Whirlwind" to prevent them from searching their deck completely and slowing down their swarming at the same time
- An alternative to this card is "Spell Shield Type-8", which does not have the secondary effect of preventing your opponent from using the negated spell again, but it instead offers an optional effect depending on the situation, helping you reduce the amount of cards in your deck.
- This card stops several popular cards which are crucial to certain decks, such as "Fire Formation - Tenki", "Spellbook of Judgment", and "Infestation Pandemic".
