• With "Future Fusion"'s effect, you can send 3 copies of "White Stone of Legend" to the Graveyard along with 2 copies of "Totem Dragon". This will add 3 copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to your hand, which 2 of them can be summoned by Special Summoning 2 "Totem Dragons" which will act as double tributes.

• Assuming that your opponent does not raise his Life Points higher than 9000 and that yours are lower than theirs, this card can create an OTK with "Future Fusion", "Megamorph", and "Shooting Star Bow - Ceal". Simply activate "Future Fusion" to bring out "Five-Headed Dragon", and when it is out after waiting two turns for "Future Fusion", equip it with "Megamorph", doubling its ATK to 10000. Finally, equip it with "Shooting Star Bow - Ceal", decreasing its ATK to 9000 but allowing it to attack your opponent's Life Points directly. As long as they are unable to stop you with an effect such as "Magic Cylinder", "Battle Fader", "Kuriboh", "Necro Gardna", "Arcana Force XIV - Temperance", "Sakuretsu Armor", you win.

• The easiest way to summon this monster is by the use of "Dragon's Mirror", possibly by using multiple copies of "Masked Dragon" or "Troop Dragon".

• Use "DNA Transplant" to change your opponents monster's attributes to something other than LIGHT or DIVINE, so there is no monster able to destroy him by battle.

• Also, it would be wise to use a Royal Decree because a Sakuretsu Armor or Mirror Force, and even a Magic Cylinder would be deadly to you after getting out the Five-Headed Dragon.

• This card can also be useful in a Cyberdark Deck. Dump it into your Grave with Fusion Guard, then when Cyberdark Dragon is summoned, equip him with this card, raising him to 6000 ATK points. For best results, have a Big Bang Shot, Fairy Meteor Crush or Meteorain on your side of the field.

• You can also simply splash a copy of Future Fusion and Dragon's Mirror into a Cyberdark Deck. Future Fusion would place a number of Level 3 Dragon-Type monsters into your Graveyard for your Cyberdark Horn, Edge, and Keel to use, then you could later bring out Five-Headed Dragon to use on its own, or as an equip for Cyberdark Dragon.

• If you have 2 copies of Five-Headed Dragon in your Fusion Deck, another choice is to use Future Fusion to send the five Dragons to your Graveyard, and then use Dragon's Mirror to Special Summon one of your copies, while still being able to use Future Fusion to Special Summon the second copy.

• Use Dimension Fusion to special summon removed from play Dragon-types monsters to the field.

• If you send 5 powerful Dragon-Type monsters to the Graveyard to Fusion Summon this card, and then activate De-Fusion, you would be able to Special Summon the 5 Dragon-Type monsters you used for the Fusion Summon of this card.

• Use Future Fusion to Summon the Five-Headed Dragon, discarding 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons and two other Dragons. Then use Dragon's Mirror to summon the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. This may make it easier to summon Dragon Master Knight later on.

• Use Future Fusion to Summon the Five-Headed Dragon, using three Blue-Eyes White Dragons and two other Dragons (The strongest ones in your Deck, if you prefer). Then use De-Fusion to bring all five Dragons to the Field. You can then use Delta Attacker to allow all three Blue-Eyes to attack your opponent's Life Points directly. Alternatively, if you do not have Delta Attacker, you may simply attack with all five Dragons Summoned by De-Fusion.

• Use DNA Surgery to make all monsters Dragon-Types. Then you can use Super Polymerization to summon <a href="http://yugioh-dragoncarddecks.blogspot.com/2011/08/five-headed-dragon-deck-tactics-and-how.html">Five Headed Dragon</a> easily and clear your opponent's field.

• Also, when you have 5 Monsters on your field, you can activate "D. Tribe" to make all them Dragon-Types for one turn and take this opportunity to Fusion Summon a "Five-Headed Dragon".

• Use Painful Choice to quickly put dragons in your graveyard for Dragon's Mirror.

• If you have a face-up monster, and face-down "Scapegoat" and a face-up "DNA Surgery" that has been selected to treat all monsters as Dragon-type monsters, this card can be summoned easily. Activate "Scapegoat" during your opponent's End Phase. They will become Dragon-type monsters thanks to "DNA Surgery", and you instantly have 5 Dragon-type monsters on the field, ready to be fused to create "Five-Headed Dragon"

• In a Dragon deck, use multiple copies of this card. If you run out, use Monster Reincarnation to bring it back to your fusion deck and summon it again.

• If possible, set a De-Fusion or Compulsory Evacuation Device before or after summoning this card. It could be deadly if your opponent takes control of this card, destroying you and your hard work.

• Use cards such as Dark Hole or Lightning Vortex to clear the field, then use Dragon's Mirror to fuse a Five-Headed Dragon for a possible One Turn Kill.

• Use "King Dragun" or "Lord of D. to give this card protection against Spell and Trap cards.

• Use Future Fusion by sending 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and Red-Eyes Wyvern to summon Five-Headed_Dragon. Then use Dragon's Mirror to summon the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. During the End Phase, if you haven't normal summoned or set a monster, use Red-Eyes Wyvern to summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. It makes already 7300 total Atk, and in two turns, there will be 5000 more.

• You can Summon three copies of "Five-Headed Dragon" if you have "Future Fusion", two copies of "Dragon's Mirror", "Burial from a Different Dimension", and either "Miracle Dig" or a second copy of "Burial from a Different Dimension". First, use "Future Fusion" to send five Dragon-Type monsters to your Graveyard, then "Dragon's Mirror" to remove them from play and Summon the first "Five-Headed Dragon". Then use "Miracle Dig" and "Burial from a Different Dimension" (in that order) to return the monsters to your Graveyard so you can use another "Dragon's Mirror" to summon the second "Five-Headed Dragon". The third "Five-Headed Dragon" will be Summoned automatically in two turns.

• You can tribute this monster for "Great Maju Garzett" to make "Great Maju Garzett" a 10,000 Attack monster. Use cards like "Raigeki", "Heavy Storm", "Giant Trunade" or any similar cards to clear the field, then "Great Maju Garzett" can attack directly, generally ending the duel.

• In a Cyberdark deck, discard this card with Fusion Guard, then, when the moment comes, equip it to Cyberdark Dragon, and use Limiter Removal for a 12000 ATK monster.

• Use the effect of Vanguard of the Dragon or Spirit Ryu to easily dump dragons into the graveyard for Dragon's mirror.

• Also useful in a Dragunity deck for dumping Dragunity Dragons via Future Fusion. Use Future Fusion to dump at least Dragunity Phalanx, Dragunity Brandistock, Dragunity Corsesca, Dragunity Pilum, and 1 other Dragon-types of your choice (most notable Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, Dragunity Arma Leyvaten, or others like Dragunity Aklys). Try to Synchro Summon Dragunity Knight - Barcha and equip it with Dragunity Dragons that you just dumped earlier. Two turns after Future Fusion's activation (assuming that this card survived), you'll get Five-Headed Dragon with 5000 ATK. With this, you'll have two monster with total (at least) 8000 ATK, enough for OTK.

• A good strategy to use if the time is availalbe is to use DNA Surgery to turn all monsters into dragon type, and use Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon and Black Luster Soldier in the fusion process. Then use two cards such as Monster Reborn or Premature Burial to bring back both monsters, and fuse them into Dragon Master Knight. The second card gains attack from the first one, leaving you with 5,000 and 5,500 atk points respectively. Be aware however of cards such as Rainbow Neos which bypass your cards effects and can return your powerful monsters to your deck.

• A near perfect way of bringing out three copies is to play Future Fusion, dumping 5 Dragons into your graveyard. then activate Giant Trunade to bounce your Future fusion and activate it again, dumping a new set of dragons. You can then activate 2 Dragon's Mirrors and remove all 10 Dragons from play to summon 2 Five-Headed Dragons. if the future fusion survives, in two turns you'll have 3 Dragon's ready to torment your opponent if you haven't won already.

• Bringing out Stardust Dragon or King Dragun alongside Five-Headed Dragon can keep Five-Headed Dragon safe from deadly cards such as "Mirror Force" or "Dark Hole"
