- This card is the cover card of abyss rising.
- The "Fake" and "Heart" in this card's name refer to Dr. Faker and Mr. Heartland, respectively.
- The capitalization in "Heart-eartH", is probably because the 2 words are anagrams.
- Apparently this card is a reference to Final Fantasy XI's Shinryu. Oddly enough, the kanjis for Shinryu can be found in the card's japanese name, and also the monster's effect of returning after being destroyed may be a reference to the "Auto-Reraise" effect granted by the equipment looted from Shinryu.
- This is the first Rank 9 monster to require three Xyz Materials.
- It also has the highest combined Level requirements of any "Number" monster (27).
- This card's body is similar to "Number 20: Giga-Brilliant".
- This monster appears to have what looks like a human heart on its rib cage-like chest.
- This card's head, or rather, the entire serpent-like body resembles "The Great Leviathan".
- This card's effect to have the opponent take the damage instead of you is similar to the effect of "Yubel".
- These two cards also share the same ATK, DEF and Attribute.
- This card also has similarities to "The Wicked Eraser", "Earthbound Immortal Aslla piscu" and "Earthbound Immortal Ccarayhua".
- Coincidentally, these cards were also used by antagonistic characters from the earlier generations (Bandit Keith from Yu-Gi-Oh! R, Yubel from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and Carly Carmine and Misty Tredwell from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's).

- This is the only "Number" card that on the anime doesn't have the effect of only being destroyed in battle by other "Number" cards. Instead, it can't be destroyed by battle by any monster - similar to "Yubel".
- This is the first Dragon-Type monster with 0 ATK and DEF featured in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, and the third featured in the Animes, following "Gandora the Dragon of Destruction" (Yu-Gi-Oh! (second series anime)) and "Majestic Dragon" (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's).
- The way that this card was Summoned by the effect of another monster after the latter was destroyed may be a reference to how "Shinato, King of a Higher Plane" was Special Summoned after "Shinato's Ark", which was being used as Noah Kaiba's Deck Master at the time, was destroyed in the Virtual World arc of the original series.
- This card's effect is in contrast between its anime and OCG/TCG version. In the anime, it can banish cards without the use of its Xyz Material, but it needs to have no Xyz Material to use its reviving effect. However in the OCG/TCG, it can banish cards at the cost of an Xyz Material, but it needs to have an Xyz Material to revive itself.
