"Rose" (ローズ Rōzu) is an archetype used by Akiza Izinski both in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's manga and anime. However, only in the manga there is support for this archetype.

Many of these cards are geared towards Plant-Type support and have a variety of effects ranging from swarming the field to Synchro Summoning easily.

Weaknesses

The archetype is composed entirely of Effect Monsters on the monsters side of the recipe, so cards like "Skill Drain", "Effect Veiler", "Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" and "Angel 07" can shut down "Rose Decks. Such Decks also tend to exorbitantly Synchro Summon, permitting cards like "Tuner's Scheme", "Orient Dragon" and "Shiny Black "C"" to unburden their presence. On the Spell/Trap side of the recipe, many such cards rely on remaining on the field, of which can be easily mollified with S/T removal such as the "Mobius" "Monarch"s, "Mystical Space Typhoon", "Typhoon", "Twister", "XX-Saber Hyunlei" "Spell-Stopping Statute", "Lady Ninja Yae" and "Cyber Prima".
