Series 8 is the collective name for the Core Boosters released from 2012 to 2014. It coincides with the run of the last two thirds of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime, and as such primarily focuses on releasing cards that debutted in it.
This was the last series to include 8 sets (spanning 2 years).
