Featured Duel: Tatsuhisa "Luke" Kamijo vs Gakuto SogetsuEdit
The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.
Turn 1: Luke
Luke draws "Mountain". Luke activates the Field Spell Card "Mountain" to increase the ATK and DEF of face-up Dragon, Winged Beast and Thunder Type monsters on the field by 200 while it is face-up in the Field Zone. Luke Sets a card in his Spell & Trap Zone.
Turn 2: Gakuto
Gakuto Normal Summons two copies of "Ancient Turtle Protector" (0/1400). Gakuto Normal Summons "Nandes the Fire Awakener" (1200/1000).[Notes 1] Gakuto Tributes both copies of "Ancient Turtle Protector" to Tribute Summon "Yamiruler the Dark Delayer" (2500/2500). As "Yamiruler" was Normal Summoned this turn, Gakuto activates its effect, changing its battle position to prevent both players from Tribute Summoning Level 7 or higher monsters while it is face-up until the end of Luke's next turn. Gakuto changes "Yamiruler" to Defense Position. Luke's hand contains "Multistrike Dragon Dragias", "Fire Guardian" and "Dragon Knight of Darkness". Gakuto activates the effect of "Nandes" to change a face-up Defense Position Warrior Type monster on his field to Attack Position. Gakuto changes "Yamiruler" to Attack Position. "Nandes" and "Yamiruler" attack Luke directly (Luke: 4000 → 2800 → 300 LP).
Turn 3: Luke
Luke activates his face-down Spell Card "Dragonic Pressure", sending three Dragon Type monsters from his hand to the Graveyard to destroy all monsters on the field, and if he destroyed a monster this way, he can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Dragon Type monster from his Graveyard to his field in face-up Defense Position. Luke sends "Draco the Tiny", "Dragon Knight of Darkness" and "Dragias" from his hand to the Graveyard, destroys "Nandes" and "Yamiruler", and Special Summons "Draco the Tiny" (0/1400 → 200/1600) from his Graveyard in Defense Position. Luke Normal Summons "Dragorite" (1500/0 → 1700/200). Luke Tributes "Draco the Tiny" to Tribute Summon "Fire Guardian" (2100/400 → 2300/600). "Dragorite" and "Fire Guardian" attack Gakuto directly (Gakuto: 4000 → 2300 → 0 LP).

- ↑ In the original version of this chapter, published in the December 2020 V Jump, Gakuto Normal Summons three copies of "Ancient Turtle Protector", then Tributes one of them to Tribute Summon "Nandes the Fire Awakener" instead. As "Nandes the Fire Awakener" is only Level 4 in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel card game and thus cannot be Tribute Summoned, this error was fixed when this chapter got released in Volume 1 of "SEVENS Luke! Explosive Supremacy Legend!!".
