The 2012 Dutch National Championship was a World Championship Qualifier for the 2012 World Championship. The tournament determined the 2012 national champion of the Netherlands. It took place in Utrecht on June 9−10, 2012[1] and was won by Floris van Asch.[2]

The entry fee was €10 for the main event and €4 for the Dragon Duel. The timetable of events was as follows.[1]

Main event[edit]
183 people took part in the main event.[3] There were eight rounds of Swiss, after which sixteen of the highest scoring players were entered into the top 16 single-elimination rounds.[4]
In the semi finals, Karsten van Eechoud defeated Thomas Grotenhuis 2-0[5] and Floris van Asch defeated Yvar Stok 2-1.[6]
In the final, Floris van Asch defeated Karsten van Eechoud 2-1.[7]
