Design[edit]

Personality[edit]

Crowley's grandfather was a kind old man. Unlike most people, who shunned magic, Crowley's grandfather accepted him and raised him with great care. He was also accepting that magic could be used for both good and evil, but believed that if used for the good of the people, then people would change their views on magic. His words would shape the way Crowley is at present.

Abilities[edit]

Crowley's grandfather was a retired scholar.

Biography[edit]

Crowley's grandfather was a retired scholar. He was open-minded towards magic, despite the scorn and fear felt towards it in his world.[1]

One day he found a baby, Aleister Crowley, in a basket in the woods and brought him home to raise, as he acted as a surrogate grandfather. He was said to have provided a good upbringing, causing Aleister to grow into an honest young man with no grudges against the world. Aleister was capable of magical abilities, which his grandfather encouraged rather than shun. He taught Aleister that special powers depend entirely on the wielder and can be used for good or bad. So if spellcasters continue to work for the good of the people, one day the world will look differently upon them.[1]

Crowley's grandfather eventually died and following his passing, Aleister moved to Graybeard.[1]
