Sorry about the decklist , It's quite messy. I have a budget of $60 - $70 . The deck's strategy is to swarm the field and gaining control of the duel. But sometimes my deck runs out of monsters before I win. I just want my deck to be perfect. I was actually going to buy some cards from my friends but I dont put it in this deck since i wanted you to edit my deck first before I buy the cards so that i wont waste much money. No need to rush , Anytime is fine.

  • Wow, never think of using vayu before but i will try it. I do put delta crow in my deck and it works quite well, I do have some of the cards that you recommended me but i'm not thinking of putting trunade in my deck... A store near my house sell vayu for 50$... that's robbery.... but anyway thanks for your help! Gladly appreciate it.
You will want Giant Trunade rather than Delta Crow. Delta Crow is inconsistant and slow, while Trunade is better for setting up OTKs. It is your choice, though. Trading for Vayu will be much easier than buying it. -bewk

Cyber angel

Hey-yo, askin for help again :D

So i made this fairy deck and i dunno its not workin out the way i planned so was wondering if you guys could help meh again. I know that the cyber angel cards arnt out and all, but i made the deck on the psp game then was gonna buy the cards accordingly.(no spending limit btw) Plus not all the cards are on the game so i dunno if im missing any cards that would work in this deck

This is my attempt at it. As you can tell from the spells, this deck is largely theoretical. Anyways, I've tried to incorporate some of the new Ritual support introduced in SOVR, the inclusions of the Ritual Fiends allow the deck to use Chaos Sorcerer, a powerful card. --Tantara (talk) 23:25, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

Help for Iron Gear Deck?

Hi everyone: we'd like some help fixing up what we've come to call our Iron Gear deck. It's more Ancient Gear than Iron Chain, really. I think where we went wrong is we tried to incorporate a method of summoning Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem, and ended up dividing the focus of the deck.

Anyhow, if you could make this more competitive, please have at. Let's set the dollar limit at $60. We have all the Ancient Gear cards, and even things like Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, so I can't imagine you can put much out we don't already have (except for things like Golden Sarcophagus, ha ha). I think this deck would do better if we returned the focus towards Synchro summoning, but I'll let you experts decide.

Sorry if I seem overly proud in the next paragraph, but test the deck and you'll know why.

  • This, along with my Tantaran DDT (aspects of it were used by James Laurent at SJC Orlando), is my masterpiece. The deck is incredible, capable of FTKing the opponent. The deck is a hybrid, Cyber Dragon and Ancient Gear. It utilizes Ancient Gear Drill to search for cards like Future Fusion, Heavy Storm, and Overload Fusion.

I think this deck successfully combines the two sides of The Six Samurai: Swarm and Control. If you lack every card in this deck, the total cost of it is around $90. Sorry for the late reply. Also, please give feedback, and feel free to tell me to redraft the deck. -bewk

  • Hey i felt i should make this deck strickely for six sams cus i need to get them out as quick as possible or i would die.. even though morphing can help renew hands im already running 6 pieces of draw power i think i might test it out at first but ya.. i always run 3 shogun shiens helps alot with swarming.. 3 yaichis was alil to much for me i felt that they would be to dead of a draw... i took out yariza cus to low of atk power and it would die to easily.. i added Kamon for cystal beast and blackwings..it helps..
  • for spells i add a book cus i was running 3 Irous, i took out the Warrior returning alive 2 for Call of the Haunted, i might swap it back though, and finally i add 2 Burdens it Helps Alot cus alot of six sams may not be able to get more powerful cus i dont have spirit but deeply considering it.. and i think it works bettter then solidarity in my point of view.. and ojamas are ugly sooo dats all i got to say lol.. :P
  • Lastly traps i took out a threatening unwillingly, and i add a torrintial for ugly synchos or swarms!!

P.S, if you would like to change it up a bit i wouldnt mind i would actually push you to do so... and i like the trap dustshoot alot i never thought of dat... and also think about Pheonix wing wind blast and if i should take out something to put it in... (thier are 42 cards in deck i believe.. thank you agian and o 1 more things the bullets that are spaced out are the things i have changed.. lol sorry!!) --Minds Over Matter

I appreciate your feedback. My build was aiming for consistancy above all, so if you are willing to sacrifice some consistancy for power, I can help you do that. I can't believe I forgot to add CotD to the decklist. Also, the bullets on your decklist messes with my head (lol), so here is the deck, by me, version two:

  • No Spirit. He isn't worth it. He is good, but he depends on there being a face-up Six Sam on the field - something that may not always happen. Morphing Jar is needed to set up for big plays, and you should never turn down any piece of available draw power. Just ask Tele-DAD. PWWB is okay, but it sucks against LS. You won't need Burden with Book of Moons, plus your free beatsticks: Shien and Grandmaster. And, you still have 42 cards in your deck...I wish I could cut that down. I'd say the Jar is optional, and so is CotH. Do you like the new build? -bewk
  • Ok i love the build im just gonna change 2 things 1 is the yaichi for another threatening (3 yaichis just seems like it wont sit with me and become a dead draw... and i couldnt find anything else to change it out with :P). 2 im gonna take out call just cus i dont think it would help much (mabey im wrong.. plz tell).. also to make it 41; and i agree on u with the morphing it could help alot...i tested it and you were right :P.. also if you could conjour a side deck for me it would be greatly appriciated.. and if you would like to change it agian plzz tell!!   • CotH is optional. It is a very vulnerable card. What do you think of removing and side-decking two Kamons? Kamon is VERY situational. I would put Kamon in the side deck, and make the rest of it look like this:

The three empty spaces can be filled with Pulling the Rug for Monarchs, or Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror for DARK/Blackwings, or...well...whatever you want. If you think something doesn't belong or doesn't fit, feel free to remove it. I can't predict your Meta, and I am not the best at making Six Samurai side-decks. What decks do you see causing you trouble? Feel free to tell me if you need any help. -bewk

This is my final result i like wat the side deck look like so i kept it i added 1 card count but i tested it out and it work great sooo.. im pretty happy imma try and lower it but it seems to be working out for me if you have any extra advice plaz tell i would like to hear it.. ;) ty agian.. it really helped.. --Minds Over Matter

Dark Magician Deck (a work in progress)

I plan on taking the mythical beast cerberus x2 out in place for a morphine jar and maybe a sangan, but I'm still not sure what else this deck needs. I would also like to add in a solemn judgment and a dark bribe, though those cards are quite expensive. I have no limit to what I want to spend, so don't hold back on any suggestions. Also, I'm not too great at creating side decks, so if you could make some suggestions on what side deck cards to include, I would really appreciate that. Thanks. tee

  • I thought about this and went with Night's End. As only 1 Chaos Sorcerer is included and Allures are run, it's more better to run a greater number of DARKs. Light/Lightsworns-Fairies Deck please

hey there guys i just read about a OTK deck that sounds interesting but since i've been off from the game I really don't know how to build it so maybe you could help me create the template for the deck but I want it to include the card athena for the OTK in combination with Honest any help will be appreciated and the cost of the cards is not a real issue to me Blue Eyes White Kid please help!!!!   • Since you asked me, I will do this. I have heard of the OTK, and it sounds like a solid request. Expect it within 4 days...I am so~ busy. -bewk

This deck is fast. You will either mill off, or draw, the required cards, and then add them to your hand with the 5 recursion cards. Chaos Sorcerer is a possible add in this deck. Dust Tornado will provide protection for your Ultimate Offering, because you can knock off a potentially deadly spell/trap, and set Ultimate Offering, all on your opponents turn. Celestial Transformation is greatly better than Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen, because it isn't a vulnerable Continuous Spell, and it doesn't require you to empty your field for the summon. Lightsworns will give your deck some muscle. Phantom of Chaos is used as an alternate Athena, just incase you don't have a Monster Reincarnation or anything like it at hand. Tell me what you think of the deck. -bewk

  • Nah, no JD. It would be very tough to get each and every LS in the graveyard to summon him. Adding Chaos Sorcerer wouldn't slow the deck down, but it might mess up the consistancy of the deck. To put him in would require some major modifications to the build, as well. Thanks, and your welcome. As for the side-deck, I would need to know what decks you play against often, and what decks you think you'll have trouble with. If you have a basic meta, here is what your side should look like:

Well, I mostly duel against BW, GB, Exodia and one deck that is a mix of Monarch-Synchro that includes Neo Space Grand Mole, and a spellcasters deck, I usually use this deck:

Toon Deck

Hey guys, i've always loved the idea of a toon deck, mostly because of pegasus' deck in the old school cartoon! :P But find it a really hard deck to make successfully and even have a chance against other decks! Could you help me with a build please? Not expecting it to be able to compete with top decks obviously, but would love to see what ideas you've got on this. Don't really have a cash limit and I have a number of cards already, so you can go to town with this! Side deck would be awsome aswell thanks!

Vayu Turbo Deck

Hey guys. Its me again. Sorry i didnt follow up on the last deck i asked you guys about but i had computer troubles and havent been active for awhile. This is my Vayu turbo deck. Can You look over it. The spending limit should be about 30 dollars no more than 35 though. I dont want to spend too much where it isnt needed because i need to buy synchros later. I tried using cheaper cards that still helped get cards in the grave for Vayu's effect like dark crusader instead of dark grepher and also some armegeddon knights i found and i used Doomsday Horror instead of burial from a different dimension to return vayu and blackwings to grave. The deck seems pretty good to me but i need someone to double check it. I promise i will follow up on this.

These are the main cards in the deck but i need you guys to fill in the blanks. I know i need another icarus attack at least and maybe a reckless greed. Dont worry about the extra deck because i know i need blackwing synchros but i need the base deck first. I always play advanced format. And sorry in advance for the red links. I dont know what is wrong so i cant fix them but i guess you know the cards already.

Yours looks pretty good, right now). We really are busy people, so please don't think too poorly of the slow speed of this Help Board. I just have a lot of decks going on like Koa Ki Meiru and a DARK Plant-type deck and i am currently testing to see which of these decks i could make the strongest and best competetively so i can focus my attention and money on it. This deck seems to be a strong one and i have almost every possible card for it except a few synchros and a second vayu which i probably got in my new booster box of Ancient Prophecy which i havent yet opened so i want your opinions and help on it. I am also very very enthusiastic about yugioh and am quite excited to get this deck going + i am a bit of an impatient guy anyway. So it's not you it's me.Sorry if i sounded like a brat or an @$$ or something before. No rush Tantara.

Now thats a Gemini deck but now i will explain the main strategy

  • First find some way to place one of your high level gemini's in the grave by using Card Trooper, Featherizer, or Foolish Burial.
  • Second special summon Blazewing butterfly or keep it on the field untill you second summon it.
  • Next tribute Blazewing to summon the high level Gemini.
  • And if that Gemini is destroyed somehow use swing of memories on Blazewing Butterfly and repeat the cycle.
    • And as a Backup use the effect of Tuned Magician to make it a tuner and synchro for a level 8 synchro preferably Black Brutdrago.

hmmm.... thanks for the deck but its almost the same as the one im running right now. lol. besides that you have no cards that help the effects of monsters like evocator chevalier or phoenix gearfried which is what this deck is meant for i think. i mean you have a way to summon them but then what? i was kind of looking for something that might help me get the effects of evocator and phoenix faster while summoning syncros for some protection. anyways thaks again haha. Hey BEWK. I just wanted to let you know that i checked out my new deck list and it was great. At first i got pissed off because i didnt see my request and i thought you guys deleted it but then i checked the archives and i saw that you completed my request. You can delete this post, i just wanted to make sure that you got my thanks. By the ay, thanks for the comment about my "creative thriftiness". I dont work (I am under 18) so i get my money from my parents, meaning i gotta conserve so i dont get my @$$ whooped by my mom or something+ i believe in saving money on one thing when you can get something just as good for less. I was also wondering what i would have to do to maybe help you guys help other duelists by making decklists or something like that. I am new to the forum but i have been into yugioh since the debut of yugioh in the US (since the 1st edition original yugi and kaiba starter decks have come out).   • You are welcome, and it was fun making the deck. I do test the decks, but not through YVD. Before it test the decks, I eliminate the possible dead draws. That is the main problem with decks these days. Then, I take out superfluous cards, in order to add in cards that help support the deck, or help it win. Finally, I test it to make sure I did everything right. I test the deck against friends' decks, which gives me an excuse to mess around. -bewk

Zombie Deck

Hi there. Forgive me if I'm doing this wrong, this is my first time editing a Wiki page. In any case, I'm terrible with making decks, haha. I started playing not too long ago, and so far I haven't really strayed too far from the original structure deck I bought.

I'm looking for a zombie/burn deck. Possibly something that can go against a deck with monsters that can just beat me down.

I don't know how to do one of those deck lists, so I'll just say I have every card that was included in the Zombie-World Structure Deck, as well as Goblin Zombie, Poison Mummy, and an extra Pyramid Turtle, and plenty of other cards from booster packs, especially Crimson Crisis. I don't have a spending limit right now, but I suppose I'll stick below $10.00 a card? I'm not going to be using it to be in any tournaments, so the traditional forbidden list is fine for me. :)

I didn't want to make you spend alot of money, but Crush Card Virus was banned and released as a rare, so you could probably buy one for $6. I forgot to put Dark Strike Fighter in the extra deck. That will help you burn your opponent. Tune the LV 1 tuner with your Malevolent Mech to make it. You are right on the Paladin question, he is just a Zombie beatstick. -bewk

Dark Simorgh Lockdown aid?

Since the Sneak Peek of SOVR, I thought I'd make a Dark Simorgh Lockdown deck, seeing as I already had 3 Anti-Spell Fragrance. But, although the deck is still at an early stage, I am seeing lots of problems with it - consistency, speed, dead draws, e.t.c.. So, I thought I'd bring the deck to your attention, so that my fellow deckbuilders could help.

Note: There are 6 cards that need to stay in the Deck: 3x Dark Simorgh and 3x Anti-Spell Fragrance. Feel free to suggest any other changes (I could only accept -1 Simorgh/Fragrance, and that's it). Budget is no more than $30 per card, up to a total of $90. I have most of the frequently used cards though (and all listed cards).

The deck has problems setting up its winning combo (Simorgh+Fragrance), most of the time because the opponent already has backrow or because it doesn't draw into its combo pieces soon enough. Thanks for your time and effort guys! --Darth Covah (Talk | Contribs) 14:29, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

Now for the long meaty explination

    • Monsters:
  • The first thing one might notice is there are no more D-hero's i replaced them with the blackwings to maitain field presence.
  • Next you might notice a stange sight Luster dragon I know hes wierd but with 1900 atk and the fact hes a wind makes him the perfect filer for this deck.
  • Also you'll notice I tried to balence the wind to dark ratio out more and giving mor backup plans such as 1 more raiza so you don't have to rely only on Simorgh.
    • Spells
  • Obviously with no more D-Heros d-draw would be pointless so its outa there
  • I was a little thrown off by Forrbidden chalice but I decided to keep it in there to negate opponents effects.
  • I also added Hand-D because Simorgh can be summoned from the grave so discarding it from your hand could actually help you summon it faster.
  • I also took out ROTA with only 1 target I decided to drop it
  • And I threw in D.D.R. so you could get darks and winds in the grave faster and summon removed monsters
  • And overall I tried to keep the spell count low so that your Anti-Spell Fragrance won't mess your plan up
    • Traps
  • I took out the one solemn and replaced it with dark bribes because since they're in the structure they're fairly easy to get.
  • I also put the reckless greeds in because if you chain multiples at the same you still only skip 2 turns.
  • And finally I put in in icarus attack because dark simorgh and the blackwings are winged beasts.

Thank you for your fixes! I actually only lack a Raiza and a Hand D. to build your version xD, so the budget is like 5$. To the point, now. It seems more stable, but I'll have to test it first. Also, don't you think Slate Warrior or Twin-Headed Behemoth would be better matched to be in this deck than Luster Dragon? Not questioning your logic, but it seems to me like one of these would be better. Last, what's your opinion on Card Destruction and Foolish Burial? Synchro Fairy Deck

I was thinking of tossing in Sunny Pixie and a Pot of Avarice as well. I also made a version of this deck where I took out Warrior of Zera and Archlord Zerato and replaced Warrior of Zera with Honest and Archlord Zerato with Freya, Spirit of Victory if Archlord Zerato became to difficult to bring out and use effectively.

  • Sorry this has taken so long, but I've been studying for exams... Anyways, I'm using Herald as your primary tuner as Lily is... crap. Your main synchro material is Parshath, who is easily summonable by Nova Summoner, and Tethys and Saturn, both of which can be special summoned via Valhalla. The deck runs multiple LIGHT searchers, who can summon a variety of components such as Honest, Herald, other searchers, and Parshath. Pot of Avarice thrown in to recycle necessary components such as Honest, your LIGHT searchers, as well as allowing Tethys to work her magic. Your main powerhouse here is Archlord Kristya, who is now the best fairy monster available, but as she's counterproductive to the theme, her includement is limited. I've replaced your trap lineup with a more stable base, Reckless Greed being the largest component. Greed allows Tethys to gain you HUGE advantage. Your spell lineup is fairly simple, as is your extra deck. This is one of my favorite decks that I've done in a while, it'll be featured in my Fairy Guide.   • I might as well, it's a tie between a spellcaster variant, X-Sabers, Garden Control, and a few others for me. If you are, I recommend that you drop a Fullhelmknight for a Giant Rat, you already have enough tuners and Rat will allow you to search for regigura or cat. No useful spells/traps too so i will find some other way to do a dumping variant of the deck.   • Yeah... X-Sabers are cool. Recruiter Chaos is basically a LIGHT-DARK toolbox using the LIGHT and DARK recruiters to fill the grave for Chaos Sorcerer. I'm also looking into a deck that I found on TCGplayer, it's called Catastor Turbo. Basically, it uses Ryko and Rinyan (low level lightsworn) and Junk Warrior to quickly and efficiently synchro for Catastor. Here's what I've come up with. This deck basically uses all aspects of the Anti-Meta, it restricts the use of spells and traps as well as your messing with every other aspect of most decks. The deck should be self explanatory: Secret Village to negate spells, Kycoo to take away the opponents grave, Decree to negate traps, Jowgen to negate special summons, Solidaity and Burden to make sure your opponent can't attack over your opponent. --Tantara (talk) 01:21, November 13, 2009 (UTC)

I really don't like the lack of space in your side deck, I recommend against siding into Assault Mode and just go traditional. If you do, you'll keep Mist Valley Soldier in there as the main way to get out Stardust.   • Nope, Tricky reduces your hand size while Falcos (the replacement) does not. Falcos is also more synchro friendly, being a possible target for Mist Valley Soldier. It also has synergy with Icarus Attack. It was a choice between Raiza, who I'd also rather run than The Tricky, and Falcos, Raiza being superior in effect but demanding tribute and Falcos being more synchro friendly and more easily summonable. The Tricky needing a discard and being non-winged beast, not to mention it's low attack for it's level, made me choose alternative cards for the deck.   • It ran decently, pulling off more synchros than Simorgh plays. I think that Destiny Hero's are more adept at pulling of Simorgh than Blackwings. It's needed to play much more conservatively with this build than with normal Blackwings due to the need to have recourses to make good finishing plays with Simorgh. Sarco is central to this build, so it's necessary to play slowly enough to be able to grab either Simorgh or Fragrance to create a good lock.   • Depends on what your meta is, are Lightsworn big? Again, I'd really pick one deck direction, switching out only really works when you're going in a completely unexpected direction and Blackwings are appealing (to professional duelists, at least) due to their side decking capabilities. If your meta is mainly lightsworn and very little Anti-Meta and DARK drain, I'd drop the Trap Eaters and the Assault Beast for three Soul Releases. If you really want your deck to compete in high profile tournaments, it'd be best to drop Stardust/AM for a proper side. --Tantara (talk) 04:54, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

  • His effect kicks in if he battles and the other monster survives (either he dies or the other monster is in defense, hence the effectiveness of Book of Moon/Waboku), though slightly situational, it's still a decent effect.   • Yes, this kind of throws the nimbleness of blackwings under the bus by adding heavier, slower components. As I said earlier, I believe that the D-Hero Version is more adept at pulling out a consistent and slightly quicker lock. --Tantara (talk) 04:39, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Darn, i guess i'll see how this plays out, and then i'll return here if need be, and would it be faster for the deck if I use Swallow's Nest on Blackwing - Armor Master to SS Dark Simorgh? That would mean getting out Armor Master as quickly as possible. Marmka 04:43, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

Help with my personal deck

Hey there guys, I know that maybe you're busy with all the requests that you have but I was wondering if you could help me with my deck, any suggestions in removing/adding cards will be appreciated and if there's the possibility of a side deck, i'll be honored.
